YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I found the 2010 review when searching for a place to get my knives sharpened. When I called to make sure they were still in business, I found the same great customer service, walk-in service availability as the previous reviewer. It is the kind of family-owned business that my dad would take me to when I was a child. Four knives sharpened while I waited and for only $8. We will be back and will tell our culinary friends!

CFK Cutlery Co. is a privately owned Knife manufacturer for the CFK and iPak Survival Brands, and was founded in 2005, to ensure the highest quality knives are made at the best possible prices. We have been through the knife making process, and after years of careful research and know-how, have found what it takes to make the best possible handmade knife at a fair price. The blades and parts of the knife are handmade and manufactured in England, the components and blades are imported to the United States where contracted knife makers, assemble the knives. The buffalo and cowhide sheaths are handcrafted from left-over leather we source from the Italian handbag industry, in Italy.

All Makes Sharpening Service is run by By Barbara, an older lady who has been in the sharpening business for over 50 years. She runs the business out of her home. I used her to sharpen my hedge trimmers, two pairs of grass shears and a pair of scissors. I dropped them off in the morning and they were ready for pick up 2 hours later. Great service, the blades were incredibly sharp, smooth and oiled, and her prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend her, and will be bringing her my kitchen knives next.

I am an accomplished non-professional furnituremaker. I chose Robinson because they are close to my home shop.\r \r As a trial run, I had them sharpen a set of knives from a DeWalt DW734 planer and an old pre-teflon Freud LM72 10"" rip blade. The results were amazing. The LU72 cuts better than it did when new, producing shavings rather than dust. Haven't tried the planer knives yet because I have a sharp second set still in the machine.\r \r Encouraged by my first visit, I took them a black pre-teflon Freud LU85 10"" crosscut blade, a Forrest Woodworker II 10"" combination blade, and a well-used lawnmower blade. Again, the results blew me away. Several years ago, another sharpening service had ground all the hook out of the Freud crosscut blade, making it very touchy to use. Robinson was able to restore the 10 degree hook without sacrificing too much of each tooth and it cuts like butter once again. I haven't tried the WWII but it looks scary sharp.\r \r They also did a great job on the mower blade, which was pretty beat up and out of balance. They even removed the rust and repainted it. Actually looking forward to trying it out in the spring.\r \r Bottom line: I highly recommend Robinson Saw Services.\r \r \r
