Kelly A Seebaldt DMD
If you're looking for a new dentist or not satisfied with your current one, check out Dr. Kelly Seebaldt and his team! Their patient service is outstanding. They are accommodating, friendly and concerned for your dental health. Dr. Kelly is professional, but personable too. He even has a great sense of humor. Chelsea Washburn, Dr. Kelly's dental hygienist, provided me with the most through and pain free cleaning/check-up I ever had in my life! Having my teeth cleaned was actually a pleasant experience for the first time. Thank you Chelsea! Even if you live in Crestview (as I do) it's well worth the drive to Destin for see Dr Kelly and his wonderful staff!

Amazing dentist, and an outstanding staff behind him! He was out-of-network, but the best choice I could've made in getting my smile back! He not only crowned a difficult front implant, but also fashioned a veneer next to it that finished my smile perfectly. Professional, personable, and genuinely caring. After my dentist of 30 years retired, I thought I was sunk. But I've finally found the perfect package in quality dental health care. And the best news is that he's still young with many more years before retiring! Ha! Now I can meet friends out for dinner, interview for jobs with confidence, or just simply talk to people. Most importantly, I can smile again!

J Mizell Barbara DMD PA
My family and I have been seeing Dr. Mizell for 6 years now and have never had an unpleasent experiance. The staff is always very friendly, the office very relaxing, and I never have to wait more than 10 minutes. I've never had issues with billing but I do have insurance that covers my visits. I would definitely reccomend her.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
