Happy Clinic Denver
I just wanted to drop in and say Happy Thanksgiving and Thank you so so much to Dr. Nyugen and Michelle for always being so kind and you always work with my crazy schedule which I very much appreciate as I know that can be frustrating when people reschedule but you always seem to work with me no matter what the circumstances and your always so pleasant to work with. To anyone who is thinking about a place to call home, as far as any noninvasive procedure goes, please do yourself a favor and come here. These people are amazing and they always know exactly what you need to look your best and not "fake". My confidence has gone up so much because of Happy Clinic Denver. Its nice to look great but its even better when you feel great and these people are not "skin deep". They are all salt of the earth and very humble. Thank you again and have a great holiday season :)-Lacey :)

Arahant Health Servivces
Dr. Park did not listen to my concerns and refused to collaborate. When I told him I wasn't comfortable with his suggested approach, he threatened me with a 72-hold. I told him that was a ridiculous, that I wasn't a danger to myself at all and wouldn't be bullied into his approach. He got up and called the police. Literally a worst-nightmare scenario for anyone truly seeking help. His aggression and unwillingness to listen is worse than poor bedside manner - it's careless and harmful. Stay away at all costs (which are hefty, not covered by insurance, and required upfront).

VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System(ECHCS) - U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
THANK GAWD i do not have to go to the VAMC, Denver, CO. I am a disabled vet. I attempted to reach the PC of another veteran who couldn't because he was too ill to talk. He needed a lifesaving prescription. He'd tried to reach his PC and no one at the VA would allow him to do so. When I attempted to help, no one would allow me to reach anyone. Huh? After 7 hours -yes, 7 hours on the phone, I still reached anyone who gave a rat's..s. I was hung up on, left on hold, called the "call center" only to be connected to another call center and left on hold and told by 'Sandy' who assured me that she would resolve the situation and get back to me. She didn't. When I called back she hung up on me. I called again and ask to speak to someone else. I got 'Sandy'. She hung up on me. Then when I attempted to speak to her. I was admonished by a VA employee (public servant), who inferred that I was imposing on the clinic (A) , had no right to be calling and for calling more than once, in my attempt to assist the SERVICE CONNECTED veteran. How DARE a veteran call on behalf of another service connected veteran and attempt to reach his PC for a lifesaving prescription. I guess if you are a disabled veteran you have to actually come to the clinic and wait THERE to perish rather than call for a lifesaving prescription.Hello VAMC/Denver employees -and 'Sandy', you have a job at the VAMC because of us -veterans. Got it? It's not the other way around. I think I have to give at least 1 star to post a comment but in reality this place is minus 5 stars. If you want to live, find another option.

AfterOurs Urgent Care
Terrible service; 2 hour wait for a five minute issue to be resolved. No one even apologized, they just stuck me in a room for 1 hour and 45 minutes, gave no updates at all, never checked in. I had to go and demand service, by which time they had me in tears. They had only one "nurse" on duty, and they saw two patients who came in after me first. No compassion demonstrated at all. I have been there twice and both times were bad, the second of which was awful. People come there needing help, and they treat you like cattle. I would never go there again, and I would encourage others to find a different urgent care. There is no sense of urgency or human caring at this one.

AfterOurs Urgent Care
I have visited AfterOurs Urgent Care for my neck pain. I met Dr. Jennifer Hepp and she is very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything well and adjusted my neck. I have 3 more appointments next week. Though the pain didn't subside immediately I am satisfied. Her appointment times are flexible and always reachable on phone. Any time I need a physician I will only call (303) 952-0670 for rescue.

Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
