A-Affordable Transmission Ctr
I had just bought a used SUV and about a month after having it the transmission began to whine and make a grinding sound. The first place I took it to misdiagnosed my problem and really didn't have good customer service. I then found A Affordable and called them for a second opinion. From my very first phone call Devin gave exceptional customer service. After dropping off my SUV they quickly diagnosed my problem and we started the work. From start to finish Devin always took the time to explain everything and didn't brush me off like some places do. The work was more complicated than we originally thought and took longer than planned. But in their defense, things were a lot more complicated than the eye could see. Through it all Devin kept working hard to get everything just right and never left me out of the loop. He went above and beyond to help me. I greatly appreciate all of his hard work and will always go to Devin from now on. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their stellar customer service, hard work, and honesty.

Barbee's Freeway Ford
Dustin Gonzales made the difference! I spotted my purchase on usedcars.com and contacted the dealership. Dustin responded immediately. At my appointment the next day, Dustin was able to address the concerns I expressed concerning purchasing the vehicle. He met every request I had, and ultimately delivered an already great vehicle in "superior" condition. Not everyone is attentive to a prospective customer's requests and is pleasant the whole while. As a woman shopping for a vehicle alone, Dustin was someone I could trust. He wasn't full of hype and promise. He didn't pressure me and ultimately he delivered an excellent purchase for me - and I wasn't there all evening. The finance office was also efficient, and honest. There were no surprises or disappointments as I've experienced elsewhere. Thanks also to the detail team who went the extra mile as well. It appeared to be a team effort and I left a very happy and satisfied customer.

Denver Lincoln Limo
I called the company last Friday at 7am to see if they could get me to the Airport for a 10am flight. Christy was very helpful and said a driver lived close to downtown and would call him to see how long it would be to get me. Dan called me within a few minutes and was here in 15 and got me to the airport for my flight. The rate was $20 more than a taxi from downtown. When I came back to Denver called when I landed at the Airport but they could not get a car to me with the bad weather. I just got an email from the company yesterday with a $20 discount on my next trip, if I post my comments on line. Unlike to comment posted here I am very happy with the service and have seen companies get clobbered with Groupon offers and are unable to meet the high demand placed on then in a short time frame often these small companies are only trying to increase sales and cannot deal with the overwhelming demand.

Chuck's Discount Muffler & Automotive
Chuck is perhaps the best mechanic in the whole universe. Not only are they fair and tell you exactly what needs to be done, but he goes more than the extra mile. I had a break in recently, and they replaced the steering column. That worked great. I locked all of my doors, and realized that he did not give me back my door key (totally understandable over site, one I did not think of at all). I called his shop at 8pm, he was still there. He delivered my keys to me. Had me try them in the door, they did not work (thieves must have broken the tumblers in the door too). So, he then went back to his shop and got a kit to get me into my car. He is a fantastic human being and a very interesting one too. I would recommend him very very highly. His prices are fair, but there is NOTHING discount about him nor his staff.

KINGS Airport LImo services
I travel extensively in my work and Kings Limo, hands down, offered me the most superior service I have ever experienced. Delayed flights put me behind schedule for an important meeting. I emerged from my Denver airport hotel in a rush, looking for a taxi. The Kings Limo driver was there and he got me downtown in time for my meeting, during rush hour, and during the opening night of a Broncos game. He was very familiar with the area and managed to take alternate routes that allowed me arrive earlier than people who live locally. I asked him to pick me up three hours later and he was there promptly. He was engaging and informative and professional. I recommend Kings Limo in Denver with the highest rating possible, as well as with high respect and gratitude.

Barbee's Freeway Ford
Recently bought a new F 150 from Freeway Ford. I had been to the auto show and did a test drive and my homework , so I knew exactly what I wanted. I went to dealer #1 and almost settled for less then what I really wanted. They did not have my truck and told me it would cost me another $5000.00 to get what I wanted. Luckily I went to Freeway for a 2nd opinion. I got the exact truck I wanted, color and everything for not $5000.00 more, but only $268.00 more. Phil, my sales rep was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He had me out the door quickly, with my phone synced and a full tank of gas. (36 gallons). Jeff in finance was about the best I have dealt with. The dealership is clean, nice lobby, the whole experience was enjoyable.

Chuck's Discount Muffler & Automotive
My 2006 Pathfinder had a check engine light on and was having some operational issues. I took it to a Nissan dealer and was told I needed a new catalytic converter for $900.00+ . My husband took it to Chuck's for a second opinion. He checked the catalytic converters and there was nothing wrong with them. It needed a new oxygen sensor that ended up costing about $230.00 for labor and cost of replacement. I have used Chuck's again for various repairs or second opinions, and always feel that he is honest, kind, has the highest integrity, and is single handedly trying to change the image of the auto repair shop rip off. I would recommend Chuck's to everyone, especially those who feel a bit of a panic at the mention of auto repair.

Paddock Imports
I have a 30 Yr old VW Jetta GLI that broke its clutch cable on my morning drive to work. I live in Colorado Springs, but work in Littleton. I called Paddock Imports trying to locate the cable and associated attaching parts. Doug Paddock was very knowledgeable about the car and could supply the parts, however I didn't realize his shop was so far away. Doug recommended I drop his name with Autoworks Colorado near where I work to have them supply the part. Everything worked out and I was able to pop in a new cable and drive my Jetta home that afternoon. Doug didn’t have to do this and could have simply ended our conversation with I can get the parts and this is my price, but went the extra step. Great service.

Barbee's Freeway Ford
My husband and I just traded in our 1999 F-150 for the 2015 Ford Escape. Had never been at Barbee's Freeway Ford before, so didn't know what to expect. Cody Roberts was our sales consultant and we couldn't have had a better car buying experience. Cody was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He worked with finance to get us the best deal and the best payment schedule for us. He also was very organized and quick with solutions. His patience with "older" buyers like us was appreciated. By the time we were ready to drive away, he even had the radio programmed to my favorite station! Lots of smiles and no pressure. Best car buying experience I have had!

Barbee's Freeway Ford
Outstanding experience. I have purchased many new cars from various dealerships and this by far has been my best experience. Jordan worked with me expeditiously to get the vehicle I wanted with a very fair price on my Trade In. He also worked with the Ryan in finance to assist in this being the shortest wait I have had to get my documents completed. He was very knowledgeable of the new Ford Explorer and also assisted with an issue I discovered after taking possession of the car. Would do it again at Freeway if the situation ever arises. Thank You!
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
