Steele Dentistry Of Stapleton
The best - hands down - experience I've EVER had at a dentist's office. This is an absolutely gorgeous office right in the middle of the bustling Stapleton area. The dentist, receptionist and assistants are extremely nice, smart and helpful.Miranda, the receptionist, was so friendly and so polite over the phone and in person. Dr. Steele was great, very patient and explained everything to me without making me feel stupid. I was there for a second opinion on my wisdom teeth extraction, and she really showed me exactly why I needed to have them removed. I never felt rushed and I definitely felt like she knew what she was talking about. The chairs were even comfortable!Once again, absolutely the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Highly, highly recommended!

Dr Hagen and his entire staff run the most professional friendly and skilled dental practice I have ever encountered. I have had serious dental issues and problems in the past. All of my dental problems have been addressed, including sending me to the best surgeon in Denver to have an embedded and infected wisdom tooth removed. That saved my life probably. Dr Hagen is the ONLY dentist who has ever sat me down for a 20 minute chat on the first visit before he even examined me.Dr Hagen has performed multiple proceedures including crowns. bridges and root canals all of which have been successful. I now have healthy teeth and gums and follow the regimen his staff has given me to keep them that way. They are the very best!!!

Hakala Family Dentistry
Horrible tooth ache, could not get in to see Dr Hakala. The very nice receptionist, Jamie, told me to come to the Dental 911 as soon as they opened and she would have everything ready for Dr Danhof. As soon as I arrived I was able to be seen right away. They pulled may horrible painful tooth. All the paperwork was taken care off, they worked with my insurance and I was out of there with a prescription for pain in less than an hour. So thankful for the professional care and the kind and understanding dentist. This is my second time with the exact same excellent results. I would recommend them to anyone who is having a dental emergency. They are the best!

This is the best place you can find to get your smile on. The staff and overall atmosphere put you at ease right when you enter. They are very knowledgeable and will answer any question you have about your teeth and what is needed or not needed and why. They answered my questions about my insurance and will be covered under my plan. Then I would say, they didn't hurt me and I went away wondering why I waited so long to go in the first place. I will definitely return and recommend that all my family and friends choose Gentle Smiles of Denver. It was a Great experience,,,Thank you...

The dental office has a very calming an relaxed feel to it - almost Zen. I got my teeth cleaned here and now I'm a proud customer of 4 years. I mainly go in for cleanings but when my teeth need a whitening, this is the place I go to. The price point is a little high but it's well worth it. You get what you pay for with whitenings. With those Groupon deals, your teeth barely get white so you have to come back frequently if you want to see any results. With Dr. Hagen's whitening, you're set for 4-6 months. Great dental office with a great staff. The best in Denver!

Belmar Park Dental Care, PC
Dr. Collins has been my dentist for three years. He is a highly skilled, friendly dentist with a good sense of humor. His team of dental assistants, hygienists and office staff have been with him for many years. They are a happy team. Dr. Collins invests in his continuing education, his team's training, and latest technology such as digital X-rays, photography and records. Dr. Collins and his team make me feel comfortable and explain things well. I truly enjoy going to my dentist and you will, too!

Comfort Dental
Just had 4 teeth extracted, (still numb) and I had to give the staff here full credit! They're really amazing. Today I saw Dr. Johnson the surgeon. Great guy! The only pain was the first couple of needle pricks, and the rest was easy! He and my regular dentist, Dr. Stella know what they're doing and really care about their patients. As someone who has problems with needles and past dentists, these are definitely the people you want working on you and your family. The whole staff is A+++!

I just had my teeth whitened in this office and they look super white and FABULOUS! The last time I was in, their hygienist Joy, recommended I brighten up my smile. It took about an hour and half and my teeth are the whitest they have ever been! I had tried the over-the-counter strips and honestly, my teeth are now twice as white as I got after using those strips for 2 weeks. I have been seeing Dr. Hagen for 7 years now and have been extremely happy.Thank you Dr. Hagen for always caring!

Tamara L. Gibbs DDS
I've seen Dr. Gibbs as my dentist since 1987. She and her wonderful staff of hygenists, assistants and front office personel have seemed more like family, offering personal care and attention as if I were the president himself. That's why I'm so confident in writing this review and giving my highest recommendation to anyone seeking a great dental experience, be it a routine or less than routine procedure. You'll be glad you visited.

City Roots Dental P
Hands down one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist! City Roots Dental is located in a great area that is easy to get to. The office is warm and inviting and the staff could not be more friendly! Dr. Garrison is funny and has a way of putting you at ease. For someone who does not like going to the dentist, I really enjoyed my visit. I highly recommend checking them out!
Tips & Advices
The most common dental problems in children are:
  • Cavities
  • Bad breath
  • Gum disease
  • Sensitive teeth
  • Grinding
  • Canker sores
  • Missing teeth
  • Extra teeth
  • Bite and alignment issues
Thumb sucking is not specifically a dental problem, but it can cause a malocclusion, a condition where the top and bottom teeth don't line up correctly.
To clean a baby's teeth, use a small, soft-bristled toothbrush designed specifically for infants. Apply a tiny amount of non-fluoride toothpaste - about the size of a grain of rice - and gently brush all sides of the teeth and the tongue. Before the baby's first teeth emerge, use gauze or a wet washcloth wrapped around the finger to wipe the gums. This motion doesn't necessarily reduce bacteria, but it does help the infant to get used to the sensation of having his or her teeth cleaned.
Children should visit their pediatric dentist every six months. This recommended frequency does not change throughout a person's lifetime.
No, wisdom teeth do not need to be removed unless they cause pain, lead to dental issues, or are aligned incorrectly.
Yes, dental sealants prevent cavities by filling in deep grooves in the teeth. Without them, bacteria can collect in these areas and cause tooth decay, which can happen with children.
