The four of us were looking for a place to eat prior to a show at the New Civic Center. We all instantly knew were as soon as we got a whiff from the kitchen. It patio was nice. I kinda though the furniture sat a little low. (something you wouldn't expect a 5'4"" dude to say. had to tuck my legs under my seat to keep from kicking my girlfriend.) However, that was my only complaint. The service was good. They don't just crank plates. It was dinner at a nice relaxing pace. The bill was <$90 for four people including a Margarita and Negra Modelo.\r \r I thought the food was good, and the overall experience was quite positive.

I took my girlfriend here recently, and we had a great time. The food was terrific, and the queso was unbelievable. The server did a great job taking care of us, and I would definitely go back again next time I'm in Larimer Square.

We love you Patzcuaro- you clown. order any tacos, especially carne asada.. i love the burrito, smothered of course. the salsa is mui perfecto. we love the service-- it's what you get and expect from a place like this. chips refilled? don't waste the room in your belly with more! they are good about sprite refills, and if it's busy give them a little direction. don't be shy, and speak Spanish if you know how. the margaritas are good, but the food is awesome and the price is right.

I know quite a few people that think their standard Mexican fare is decent and I agree. But I think the reason to come here is because they have the best salsa, guac, rellenos and like most Mexican food lovers, their green chile is the tastiest ever...amazing. And their beers are big and cheap. Oh yeah, if you think this place is expensive, your next obvious choice is Taco Bell. The Brewery Bar is a great value, has great staff and is a super, old-school Denver, no frills atmosphere.

I started out loving this place in the 90's when i went to CU and still love it today. I always have loved their margs and queso. They recently added a new marg that you can call your own tequila, which suits me as my palliate has evolved a tequila connoisseur. This place is still a fun place to hang out before I head to an Avs game. Thanks Rio

My favorite sitdown Mexican stop in Denver...great food and good service. I would say just the decor needs to be updated as the only improvement that can make this place better. Try the Fajitas and Pollo!

Blown away by La Sandia, an unexpected surprise. Homemade chips and salsa are delicious and addicting. Presentation of food is gorgeous, which to my foodie boyfriend and I is always a pleasure. Have been twice now and gotten excellent service. Margaritas and mojitos are both very tasty. I think of it as somewhere you might go when you want to treat yourself a bit, because of the price.

I used to fequent the Border a few years ago and liked it. Now I love it! The remodel looks fantastic. The dance floor and stage are great additions. I just saw the band 'Single Track' there and loved it. You can get right up close to the bands. On Tues and Thurs you can dance on the stage (or dance floor) to dj's. Great place, alway fun and cheap.

Nice old school College style sports bar. Heated patio for smoking if that’s your thing. I quit but still enjoy the smell, so I like the smokey aroma in the bar, but I could see how it might turn others off. Dan was friendly behind the bar, taking care of the patrons on a slow Tuesday night. Definitely a place I could see myself becoming a regular at.

solid happy hour, great service, the kitchen does a good take on mexican grub, but DO NOT GO if you are not ready for a loud, packed house! (and when that huge apt building is completed a block away, i hate to think how crowded and loud it will be!)

I've been to Mexico multiple times and these margaritas rival the best there. The food is always good and the serivce is excellent. It's not the fanciest place by any means but it's cheap and good.

Yay! I love Illegal Pete's! The food is great. There is a great variety and the people are really fun and funny. All Illegal Pete's locations are locally owned. I like to support the local business. I have met Pete personally and he is a really great guy.
26.Taqueria Los Pinos
10021 E Hampden Ave
Tacos, tortas, enchiladas, chile rellenos and many other mexican specialties are served up fast and fresh. The prices are dirt cheap and it is a family owned restaurant in a little strip mall. The owners are usually there and are very friendly. It is an order at the counter and seat-yourself place. A wide variety of delicious fresh made salsas and toppings abound.

We eat here quite often and it consistently has great food and service. Fun atmosphere, definitely on the casual side. Large tasty margs. Chimichangas are to die for and the burritos are excellent. The only reason I don't get the 20"" burrito is because I usually fill up on the chips and homemade salsa.

mmmmmm love your potato tacos!!!! but get better service they dont care about us.. ..:(
29.Moe's Southwest Grill
925 N Lincoln St
Mexican RestaurantsAmerican RestaurantsCaterersRestaurants
Nothing about Moe's Southwestern Grill burritos is quite right . They don't stack up to the competition. I didn't care for the rice they use, it is some type of odd flavored spanish or mexican rice. They seem a little stingy with the meat and the marinade used on the steak just doesn't taste like what you would expect from this type of place. The chicken is comparatively dry to say,Chipotle or Qdoba. Do yourself a favor and go to Qdoba, Chipotle or even La Salsa. They are all three of a much higher caliber than Moe's and I think they just get it. Moe's Southwestern Grill, doesn't.
