AfterOurs Urgent Care
I visited the Thornton CO after ours on august 18 because my nose was in severe pain and I figued it was infected. One great thing is that they were open on a Saturday at 6:30 with a Broncos game going on. It is hard for me usually to see a doctor because I drive truck for a living and only get home for a few days every 5 weeks. So just the fact that they were open was nice. Upon arrival a gentleman gave a quick look and confirmed it was infected. He said depending on the severity they may have to send me to the hospital. He then gave me the choice of just going straight to the hospital or seeing what they could do and then maybe still have to go. I chose to stay and see what could be done. The Doctor was quick to get to me even though there were several people there. He quickly but thoroughly examined me and concluded that antibiotics should be more than sufficent in my case. He decided to up the dosage seeing as I drive and rarely get to doctors. He also gave me his card so I could call if I had any questions while I was on the road. He also prescribed some pain medication to help me get through the weekend until the antibiotics started to really work. Overall the entire staff was professional, helpful, caring, understanding, and even had a great sense of humor. I know now that is I am ever in the Denver area this is the ONLY place I will use in the future. I highly recomemd them, if they can't help you there they are quick to give you the location of an address that is open that can (a small child and his mother came in while I was there. The child needed stitches and this was not something they could perform at the time, bit within 2 minutes they had the family directed somewhere that could help.)

Denver Regenerative Medicine
I went in for a consultation (which was free) on December 31st and made appointments to have the service done on one knee. They charge a non-refundable $200.00 fee to hold your appointment slot with the doctor. After I arrived home I got a voice mail from the representative who had sat down to go over the payments with me, stating that she made an error in her calculation that was stated to me for the second and third payments. I cancelled the appointments and asked for the $200.00 back even though they specified it was non-refundable. I did not make the error, and they made no attempt to change the payments from 3 to 4 in order to spread out the increase of $1,000.00, and since I would not be seeing the doctor after cancelling, why do they need to keep the $200.00 in order to hold my appointment slot??? Do not give any money up front unless you are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you will be coming for the service. A few days later the doctor called to apologize for the mix-up and offered a discount for the procedure. I'm happy with that and plan on having the procedure done next week. (Update 01/19/2016) I had the procedure done on both knees on 01/14/16 and I am at work today after the MLK holiday. The only pain during the procedure process was the anesthetic had a burning sensation to it that was uncomfortable. The procedure itself went amazingly well and Dr. Michael Cantor is a pro! I had one day of pain, one day of discomfort, and then I was fine. No knee braces, taking off 4 to 6 weeks of work or using crutches like the other clinics I checked into required. I am changing my rating to a 5 star! God bless you Dr. Cantor!!!

AfterOurs Urgent Care
Everyone seemed real nice, but in treating my son who had been running a 104 temp for a few days, they said that he was just dehydrated, and charged me $300 to put him on an IV, while completely neglecting the fact that he had Pneumonia and needed Antibiotics. 4 days later, he was lethargic and still running a very high temp, so I took him in to a different Doctor...who told me he had Pneumonia, charged me $76 and put him on antibiotics. I feel like I got screwed at Afterours & I feel like $300 was an exuberant amount of money to charge someone who is in a bad predicament, and then to be so incompetent as to miss something so dangerous as pneumonia....And right before Christmas. SHAME ON YOU!UPDATE....After speaking to Marjorie at Afterours, who was very kind and very patient with me, I have updated this review. Marjorie listened thoughtfully and heard my story. She offered me a solution that was a real life saver. My child's symptoms never changed, so I honestly believe that he had Pneumonia at the time of my visit & I still feel that it was over looked. However, I explained to Marjorie that I had little money and that $300 was giant burden for me. She emailed me a Hardship Relief form & they refunded $150 to me which was a great relief.....Thank you.....that was huge to me.

Navarkal Rock
I am ever so happy that I found Dr. Rock Navarkal. Being in pain and being hesitant about meeting a new doctor was a waste of energy, because when I met the staff at Rocky Mountain Spine & Sports Medicine I quickly realized that I had nothing to worry about. They were prompt and very courteous to me. The experience I had with Dr. Rock Navarkal at Rocky Mountain Spine & Sports Medicine was the way all my doctors appointments should be but rarely are. Dr. Rock answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns, and even went above and beyond by offering treatments that he could do in the same office. In my previous experience I would have to had seen at least 1 more doctors if not 2 or 3 different doctors and have to go to that many different places to them all. To all others a bit of advice, if your time is valuable to you then go to Rocky Mountain Spine and Sports Medicine, but if your time means nothing, then go to any other doctor.

Feldman Alexander Phys
Dr. Alexander Feldman is a very thorough physician. He has great bedside manner, is very soft spoken and I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much time with a doctor! What stood out was the amount of quality time and care spent during each appointment. He focused on quality of care, making sure to complete a detailed examination and communicating options clearly. He is very knowledgeable, detailed and communicative. He explained what he thought was wrong and what the options were to diagnose the symptoms. Once diagnosed, he provided visual aids, even drew some diagrams to chart the course of progression. He also provided treatment options and reading material for those options. He is very personable and calls you directly to communicate lab/test results. His calm demeanor is also very reassuring. I would highly recommend Dr. Feldman as an A++ physician! Additionally, I’ve never waited more than five minutes to see the doctor!

Why dont all dr.'s value your time as much as theres? I finally found a dr. that does. He was prepared for everything. Dr.Rock blew my mind with his knowledge and readiness for it all. Went in with a pain that wouldn't quit, and not only did he know the right meds to give, but he was able to help this from not happening again by offering all kinds of injections and downstairs had his physical therapy office so we could start the healing process and not just bandaid the problem. My hats off to you Dr. Rock, you're 1 in a million!!!!! If you go anywhere else you'll regret it. Don't waste days or weeks of time being in pain, let the staff at Rocky Mountain sports and spine get you ready for today.

La Fontaine Aesthetics
I am so excited about my results from surgery with Dr. Oleszek! I look like me, young, fresh, happy, pretty. Two years ago I had consults with 2 other doctors. I don't think they are bad doctors, but something just didn't feel right. After meeting several of Dr. Oleszek's patients and seeing how beautiful and natural they looked I felt like he was the one. Once I met with him, I was 100% confident. I did a lot of research and even though I knew he was the right surgeon for me. I asked a million questions and they were so happy to answer everything.

Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
