Barbee's Freeway Ford
Dustin Gonzales made the difference! I spotted my purchase on and contacted the dealership. Dustin responded immediately. At my appointment the next day, Dustin was able to address the concerns I expressed concerning purchasing the vehicle. He met every request I had, and ultimately delivered an already great vehicle in "superior" condition. Not everyone is attentive to a prospective customer's requests and is pleasant the whole while. As a woman shopping for a vehicle alone, Dustin was someone I could trust. He wasn't full of hype and promise. He didn't pressure me and ultimately he delivered an excellent purchase for me - and I wasn't there all evening. The finance office was also efficient, and honest. There were no surprises or disappointments as I've experienced elsewhere. Thanks also to the detail team who went the extra mile as well. It appeared to be a team effort and I left a very happy and satisfied customer.

Chuck's Discount Muffler & Automotive
Chuck is perhaps the best mechanic in the whole universe. Not only are they fair and tell you exactly what needs to be done, but he goes more than the extra mile. I had a break in recently, and they replaced the steering column. That worked great. I locked all of my doors, and realized that he did not give me back my door key (totally understandable over site, one I did not think of at all). I called his shop at 8pm, he was still there. He delivered my keys to me. Had me try them in the door, they did not work (thieves must have broken the tumblers in the door too). So, he then went back to his shop and got a kit to get me into my car. He is a fantastic human being and a very interesting one too. I would recommend him very very highly. His prices are fair, but there is NOTHING discount about him nor his staff.

Recently bought a new F 150 from Freeway Ford. I had been to the auto show and did a test drive and my homework , so I knew exactly what I wanted. I went to dealer #1 and almost settled for less then what I really wanted. They did not have my truck and told me it would cost me another $5000.00 to get what I wanted. Luckily I went to Freeway for a 2nd opinion. I got the exact truck I wanted, color and everything for not $5000.00 more, but only $268.00 more. Phil, my sales rep was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He had me out the door quickly, with my phone synced and a full tank of gas. (36 gallons). Jeff in finance was about the best I have dealt with. The dealership is clean, nice lobby, the whole experience was enjoyable.

Chuck's Discount Muffler & Automotive
My 2006 Pathfinder had a check engine light on and was having some operational issues. I took it to a Nissan dealer and was told I needed a new catalytic converter for $900.00+ . My husband took it to Chuck's for a second opinion. He checked the catalytic converters and there was nothing wrong with them. It needed a new oxygen sensor that ended up costing about $230.00 for labor and cost of replacement. I have used Chuck's again for various repairs or second opinions, and always feel that he is honest, kind, has the highest integrity, and is single handedly trying to change the image of the auto repair shop rip off. I would recommend Chuck's to everyone, especially those who feel a bit of a panic at the mention of auto repair.

Paddock Imports
I have a 30 Yr old VW Jetta GLI that broke its clutch cable on my morning drive to work. I live in Colorado Springs, but work in Littleton. I called Paddock Imports trying to locate the cable and associated attaching parts. Doug Paddock was very knowledgeable about the car and could supply the parts, however I didn't realize his shop was so far away. Doug recommended I drop his name with Autoworks Colorado near where I work to have them supply the part. Everything worked out and I was able to pop in a new cable and drive my Jetta home that afternoon. Doug didn’t have to do this and could have simply ended our conversation with I can get the parts and this is my price, but went the extra step. Great service.

Barbee's Freeway Ford
My husband and I just traded in our 1999 F-150 for the 2015 Ford Escape. Had never been at Barbee's Freeway Ford before, so didn't know what to expect. Cody Roberts was our sales consultant and we couldn't have had a better car buying experience. Cody was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He worked with finance to get us the best deal and the best payment schedule for us. He also was very organized and quick with solutions. His patience with "older" buyers like us was appreciated. By the time we were ready to drive away, he even had the radio programmed to my favorite station! Lots of smiles and no pressure. Best car buying experience I have had!

Barbee's Freeway Ford
Outstanding experience. I have purchased many new cars from various dealerships and this by far has been my best experience. Jordan worked with me expeditiously to get the vehicle I wanted with a very fair price on my Trade In. He also worked with the Ryan in finance to assist in this being the shortest wait I have had to get my documents completed. He was very knowledgeable of the new Ford Explorer and also assisted with an issue I discovered after taking possession of the car. Would do it again at Freeway if the situation ever arises. Thank You!

Barbee's Freeway Ford
My wife and I had a great experience working with Freeway Ford, specifically Josh and Davis. We had just spent the day at multiple other car dealerships which we left feeling insulted and as if we had wasted several hours of our weekend. Despite feeling defeated we decided we made a last minute decision to check out Freeway Ford because it is just down the street from our house. To our surprise the service was great and we received a deal on a new car that both sides were comfortable with. I will definitely look to do business with Freeway Ford again.

Barbee's Freeway Ford
I just bought a new 2016 Ford Escape from Freeway Ford and want to thank the salesman, Jordan, for the great job he did helping me that day. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the quality of vehicles he sells but I never felt pressured. After the test drive he answered all of my questions thoroughly so that I could be confident I had the information I needed to make the best decision. I love my new Escape! Thank you Ford and thank you Jordan! I will highly recommend you to anyone I know interested in buying a vehicle.

Barbee's Freeway Ford
I am in sales so I know I am not the easiest person to sell a vehicle to. Cody and the team at Barbee's Freeway Ford were very professional and accommodating to every question or concern I had. The care and attention we got from Cody helped us make our decision easy. We were so pleased with our buying experience we went back a week later and bought a beautiful 2015 F-150 truck from Cody. I would definitely recommend Cody and the team at Barbee's Freeway Ford to anyone looking for an enjoyable car buying experience!
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
