Ray Ramirez is unreliable, he doesn't respond to all emails, calls, texts and ultimately, failed to do the job. Ray began with a good impression. He showed up at the scheduled time to give the estimate. I accepted his price, I didn't argue or negotiate. We also agreed on a tentative date which was several weeks from that time.As he instructed, I chose certain products from Home Depot's site and forwarded the links on a Friday. I had a question regarding two different faucets and why one was more than $100 than the other, the specs at the site were not clear. He responded on Monday saying he couldn't open the link. We spoke on Tuesday, he said he was going to Home Depot and he would check out the product and get back with me but he didn't. I waited two weeks and emailed him a reminder, that I haven't heard back about the faucet. His response was that he would call me in two days to confirm a start date. He didn't call. Then 7 days later, he emailed asking if I'm still interested and to let him know either way. We spoke and I mentioned my concern about his not responding to communication in a timely manner. He made some excuses and we agreed to move forward with the project, that we would meet at Home Depot the following week to pick up the material. The morning we were supposed to meet, I texted, called and emailed to confirm the meeting. I didn't hear back but gave him the benefit of the doubt and went to Home Depot at the scheduled time. Needless to say, he wasn't there and I haven't heard from him.

SJS Heating & Cooling, Inc. owner/operator Mr. Steve Bigacz was the HVAC subcontractor on the full remodel of my home. His scope of work included sheet metal ducting, roof vents, furnace humidifier renovation, and installation of a Moline Hot Dawg natural gas garage heater. Most of the work was adequate, not great. The major issue is the garage heater immediately developed a noise issue. I had to research the issue and found that Moline would provide required parts free under warranty but would only deal with the installing company. For the first attempt at fixing the problem, Mr. Bogacz ordered the part and charged me for installing the part. The noise persisted and even got a louder. I contacted Moline and got a technical representative who was willing to work with Mr. Bogacz to resolve the issue. At this point Mr. Bogacz stopped all communications and by his actions refuses to support the resolution of the noise problem.

I did work formiss Jones back in September. The house was unoccupied she had asked me to give her a price to put in a wall Heater. I gave her price and she asked when I could get it done she said she checked out my reviews and they were stellar I told her I can put it in the next day I gave her a price for cozy wall furnace 62,000 BTUs heaterit was a direct vent application I showed her in the brochure to different type of units with two different colors the counterflow wall furnace was manufactured with the white color base that direct vent counterflow was the off-white color the brochure that I showed her I also attached an arrow for the application that she was pan for she said let's get it done after I installed the unit she ask me what color was the unit and I told her the off-white she said that was a big problem. At that time I knew there was going to be an issue with getting final payment. She said she would meet me tomorrow to pay me I then told her okay what time she said she would call me back she never did she said she wanted to get a couple other contractors to look at my work to make sure that it was done to the right specs I told her I just need to get paid and we can move on she insists that she wanted to get her own contractor in well if she had her own contractorwhy did she con tract Sanchez mechanical don't make sense right. Anyway she said where's the floorplate I said there was no floorplate at it I indicated to her that it came with a wallplate that was installed she asked me where the trim kit was that there was no trim kit that came with this cozy heater. I had asked her when can I expect payment I did not receive any response. So I went ahead and filed a small claims court suit against Miss Jones had her served and it wasn't a week after she was served then she decided to pay partial payment of the outstanding invoice. At that time I decided to pursue the suit. To receive full payment. I went ahead and filed a motion to have the case dismissed I do not want to start a new year out in court. After we've had her served with dismissal papers then she goes and post. Slandering remarks against Sanchez mechanical which is uncalled for. She needs to read her invoice to see exactly what was purchased everything that she posted was nonsense. We pride ourselves with quality and integrity for our customers we are not out to take advantage of anybody we've been in business for over 24 years and Mr. Sanchez has been in the industry for over 39 years he prides himself with integrity and quality services for the public he is not out to mislead. Or to take advantage of anybody sincerely Sanchez mechanical Inc.

I rarely write a review about any business but this one was so bad that I decided others should know and not share the same fate and misery. We had been using this business for many years doing tune ups on our HVAC system but recently have found it difficult and nearly impossible to get any customer service or call backs. Many messages have been left and not returned, phone calls made and not returned, attempts to make payment attempted and business did not return calls to get their money! I am thankful that I did not have something major done by this company like an installation because if there were any issues, I know I would have an impossible time to get any help or callbacks based on my recent past experience. I told a local distributor my experience and he noted that I wasn't alone in my experiences with this company. One has to wonder about a company that turns around and blames/accuses the customer when a complaint is filed rather than possibly addressing that their might be a problem with itself! Please consider consulting another business before using this one. I have worked with MANY companies before this and have NEVER had one that I wrote a complaint about to the BBB until this one. If this isn't a testimonial and a warning, I don't know what is...CAVEAT EMPTOR.

I highly recommend A-Plus Mechanical... After attempting just about every possible do-it-yourself fix on our condos malfunctioning A/C I decided it was time to call in the pros. Several of the neighbors I had talked to recommended this small company so I decided to give them a shot. The mechanic they sent, Will V., was honestly one of the nicest and most accommodating guys that I have ever delt with. He diagnosed my problem in a matter of minutes, while walking me through the entire process (no sketchiness what so ever). Then spent a good part of his day driving around town in search of the correct part for my unit (a unit which has been discontinued for 10 years now). He even gave me his cell phone number, and even more surprisingly answered my call at 8:00pm while at home with his family... Anyways, not only was my problem fixed in a very timely manor by a mechanic that I cant say enough good things about. It was also done at a fair price (believe me, I looked into parts prices etc)... As seldom as its needed (fingers crossed) I am happy to say that I now have a heating and A/C place that I can trust. Which really means a lot to me. Thanks A Plus Mechanical!
