Einstein Plumbing Denver
Reworked an improperly, not up to code, gas line in the attic to the central air conditioner-heater. Removed the ancient soft water loop, venting, and the gas line in order to move the gas water heater back into the corner of the garage after removing some cabinets. Replaced gas venting for hot water heater which also was not up to code for 20+ years. The Denver plumber that came out cordinated all work with roofing contractor.Although this is a story about gas line plumbing, it begins with a new roof. After19 years in our Denver home, we finally went to replace our 27 year old cedar shake roof and while the roofer was giving us the estimate they discovered that the handyman who had converted an electric cooktop to a gas range a few years back had rerouted the heater gas line and it was not up to code. The Denver roofer would not replace the roof until this was made right. They also noticed that the gas hot water heater was not vented through the attic to code. So we went to online to find a gas plumber in Denver. John from Einstein Plumbing came out almost immediately to look it over and we decided to ask for a couple of more items, including moving the water heater back in the garage a few feet (it had been in front of a cabinet we removed,) removing the soft water loop at the same time, and adding a line into the back yard to convert my propane grill to a natural gas grill. The estimate for this work was $1,100. John and Einstein Plumbing scheduled the work almost immediately, moving the water heater and simplifying the plumbing and setting up the attic gas line appropriately in our 115 degree July weather. He did it so everything was capped off waiting for the old roof to be removed. John was very courteous and professional, explaining what needed to be done and doing it with speed and quality. He had to wait several weeks to complete the job to meet the roofer’s schedule, but the office staff stayed in constant contact and was more worried about coordinating the work with the roofer than getting paid for the part that was already done. John came out to move the vent through a jack in the roof, but the roof took considerably longer to remove than we thought, so I turned off the gas to the water heater and allowed John to get as far as he could without actually having the roofer to the point they needed to be. This was all work done late in the morning on a hot humid late July day in an attic that intensified that heat. The next day when the roofer was finally ready, John came out and finished the work. In the end, the meter proved too small to hold the additional gas line to the barbeque and the final cost wound up at $950. This was $175 higher than the original estimate for the components of the job John was able to complete. We were happy with the final cost because Einstein Plumbing and John had to come out to the house several more times than originally planned and the roofing job was much more complex to coordinate. We have had a lot of work done on the house this summer, all with great Plumbers in Denver and every job proved more difficult due to some jury-rigging by the previous Denver Coloardo home owner. The plumbing was not exception, but now we know it is done right. All-in-all we were very pleased with service, responsiveness, quality, and willingness to coordinate with our other Denver plumbing contractors. We will use Einstein Plumbing again in the future and are planning on calling them back as soon as the gas company changes out our meter for a larger one.

Einstein Plumbing Denver
We used Einstein Plumbing a couple months back on what ended up being a costly plumbing repair job to our home just outside Denver, Colorado due to some tree root damage to the pipes. Having an older home, they recommended we camera the Denver plumbing lines and we paid significantly for this service, to the tune of 500+ dollars. The initial job was completed, but much more expensive and time consuming than we were originally quoted.  When it comes to home repair issues these things can happen. We felt that we were paying a higher premium to work with a reputable company based on their reviews and the plumber was courteous and knowledgeable. Flash forward to yesterday, we checked our camera video to help identify a related issue for our ongoing Denver home renovation.  Our general contractor requested to see it and so we pulled it up on the computer.  Imagine our shock and horror when the DVD was completely blank! We tried to open it on another computer hoping it was some kind of glitch but nope - still blank. Our Denver contractor told us he's actually seen this happen to a lot of people with various Denver plumbers through the years. We were furious! After all, we paid a high price tag to get the best service possible. Surely, we figured Einstein, being a reputable Denver plumbing company, would either have stored our DVD on a backup system or they would re-camera the lines for free since this was their mistake. Well, my husband called today to let Einstein Plumbing know of their error and request support. My husband was dismissed and told by their plumber repair person that, "Sometimes it doesn't get transferred to the disc properly, sorry." My husband then asked them to come out and re-camera the lines because this was already a service we paid substantially for and need the documentation for renovation and re-sale purposes. He was told a Denver plumbing manager would need to be called and we would get a call back. Later in the day, the same service person called back and told my husband per management they will not re-camera for free and they would charge us full price. Then, he proceeded to blame us for their mistake claiming we "probably demagnetized the disc." Seriously?!! Obviously we kept the disc safe in its protective cover. So, basically they tried to deflect ownership of their error by putting all the blame on us. My husband assured the denver plumber service worker the disc was stored in a safe manner. The service workers just shrugged him off and offered nothing in the form of remediation.  In short, the company took no accountability for their mistake, blamed us, and have refused to rectify their error.  As it stands now, we will contact Einstein plumbing again, request to speak to a manager and try to get this mess sorted out. Update to follow. Word of advice: If you get your plumbing lines camera'd by any plumber just make sure to watch that DVD the very same day so you don't end up with a blank $500 DVD!

Acute Property Management
Keep in mind these guys have treated me, and so many others well I am taking time to write a positive review of a company. No one does that. Unless they are the managers and say things like they are a resident and feel "blessed to live there" etc. etc. Obviously I will not put my contact info up here, but if you really want to verify what I say then call Jason or Andrew, they will have permission to give out my info. You will get a voicemail, I will return the call. Ok...So the jack-wagon off of city search repeated himself, so well I. Unless this is a different acute than the guy below is talking about, I couldn't give a more different review. Not to make it too glowing, as Andrew and Jason and I have had our conflicts from time to time, and I am a little buzzed, but I have to give them a 4.5 out of 5 overall. As a guy who graduated with too many degrees and even more loans in 2009, it was tough to find a job let alone a place to live. These guys took a chance on me and kept me from being homeless and, let's face it, destitute.Situations greatly improved over the last few years (especially monetarily) and I cannot give a greater compliment to this company than that I can afford a MUCH more expensive place but choose to stay with them for the services they offer. Not to get to personal, but when I hit a rough spot where I was diagnosed and treated with testicular cancer in march/june of 2012 there were other things on my mind than if I sent out the rent check. These people are so great, they not only knew of the shi* I was going through, but they didn't once bug me. It was my own reconciliation of bills that lead me to realize I hadn't sent out the check.Have to say, they aren't some pushovers. Don't think you could make up a sob story and not pay rent. They are just that good that they not only keep tabs on what needs upkeep but also on what is going on in their places.I will never rent from a large corporation again!

Proper Plumbing Solutions
Great company. Here is my experience.I recently purchased a 3-apartment complex in the Denver area as a foreclosed rental property. The project needed a number of renovations especially in the area of plumbing. I contacted many plumbing firms in Denver Area for estimates of service and repairs. I was immediately impressed with the company Proper Plumbing Solutions Inc. and Master Plumber Derek Veen. Derek really took the initiative to thoroughly understand the issues of the property and put together a comprehensive yet reasonable plan of what and how the items should be addressed.Derek made great recommendations on the products and revisions of the plumbing infrastructure to support the needs of the building and that were cost effective. He also made great changes to the serviceability of the layout in the design of his work. Derek is well versed in the plumbing trade and takes great care in every connection that is made and has great communications throughout the process. He utilizes the latest technologies in the trade. If and when I have another project I will contact Derek Veen again for services, as I could not be happier with his work ethic, end product and service.I highly recommend Master Plumber Derek Veen for your project large or small. There are a lot of rip off artists in this field and one needs to be careful. Proper Plumbing Solutions Inc. is a clear choice here.

Acute Property Management
I live at 16300 E Colfax (the company has several properties). I can't speak to getting a deposit back, because we still live here. The good: property manager Michelle is friendly, attentive, and will at least try to enforce quiet hour rules (though she isn't always successful with drunken, combative tenants and has to call the police). It's also a diverse and generally nice community. If you feel you'll need to talk to your neighbors, learning some Spanish is a good idea. Management doesn't fool around when it comes to criminal activity (there's an elementary school right next to the property). Also like that there's a bike trail right in front. The bad: A few (though certainly not all) neighbors who give new meaning to "ghetto trash." The people next door to us blast wall-shaking music for hours at a time (the same song over and over). They also have screaming fights that last 4+ hours (not exaggerating, I've timed it). When the cops inevitably show up, you can hear them screaming about how they're being harassed "for no reason." The male half of the couple has been taken to jail at least once. Note: as far as I know they're getting kicked out for multiple police actions.

Einstein Plumbing Denver
I received multiple quotes from a few local Denver plumbing companies and Einstein's pricing was right in alignment with all others. The reason I chose Einstein Plumbing was based on the initial quoting process...John came out and walked me through a variety of issues I was having and thoroughly explained the possible root causes.I had a bad pressure regulator, a drippy shower head and 2 toilets that "ghost flushed" (would flush at random times and waste water). In consulting with John he quoted all 3, but recommended that we start with the dripping shower and pressure regulator, and see whether replacing the pressure regulator would fix the ghost flushing. Since my water pressure was really high, he thought that may be a reason for the ghost flushes but if not, would have to rebuild the toilets. All other Denver plumber companies automatically assumed a rebuild was needed.John and Daniel came out and worked quickly. They were done in about an hour. As it turned out, replacing the pressure regulator fixed the ghost flushing, which saved me hundreds of dollars in an unnecessary rebuild. I highly recommend Einstein for any plumbing needs.

Rooter Town
I called late last night because our sewer was backed up. They were nothing but polite and had Jared was out in an 1 1/2 hours. He tried to snake the drain to no avail and called for extra help. He was really professional and on top of it. This morning the extra help showed up. Jesse, Joseph, and Bobby came out to jet and scope the drain. Long story short my son dropped a plastic bottle down the clean out and it got wedged in the pipe. They managed to drag the bottle back out with some very handy work and saved me close to $10,000 and the pain of digging up the sewer line. They were professional and creative problem solvers. They thought quickly on their feet and were willing to keep trying to save us the money. Because of their quick and creative thinking I'm going to be able to pay off my student loan with the money I had saved instead of paying to have our yard ruined. I cant express how grateful I am. There are no words really, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our family appreciates your hard work. We cant recommend Rooter Town enough.

Performance Property Management
I have been renting from Performance Property for over 1 year now and I have nothing but good things to say. I was looking for a place to rent when I saw their number in a few different locations, I called and talked to Sara, She was more then helpful, She took the time to discuss my situation, my needs, and my wants, She was informative and quick to offer suggestions as well as alternatives that I didn't think of, Sara had a place in mind she thought fit my situation, After our conversation she put me in contact with Greg who also took the time to learn about me and what I was looking for, I set an appointment with Greg to look at a place the very next morning, I was late due to weather and ignorance of the light rail system, When I finally arrived Greg was there waiting, He was friendly and professional, He didn't hold my tardiness against me, We looked at the place together and talked for long time, I was never rushed or pressured, I liked the place so we did the paperwork,

Performance Property Management
I have rented from Performance Property Management for almost 2 years now, and so far it is the best experience I have ever had with renting. The superior experience with their maintenance is specifically what has prompted me to write this positive review. The response time has always exceeded my expections, and the repair-men sent have always gone above and beyond to find solutions for me. My faucet was a little leaky, and when I didn't like how the standard replacement looked, they allowed me to pick out an inexpensive one that was prettier and more functional! When my washing machine stopped spinning, they bought me a gorgeous and spacious brand new one!!! I hope to stay here for as loooong as possible. Performance Property Management is FANTASTIC.

Good Plumbing Service CO
I had a good expereince with this company. I reported to my landlord that I had a back up sink and dish washer and The 2 Steves were at my apartment an hour later. They got right to work, made sure they didn't make a mess or spill water and if they did spill they cleaned up , as they did the area entirely before they left. I am not sure of the charges or amount but my landlord aid they were "fair in their prices." It took them about 30 minutes and they were finished. They also answered all my question without being rude or dismissive and told me what I should do to avoid the issue in the future. I would recommend them from my expereince.
Tips & Advices
Irrigation system advantages:
  • Lowers water bill and maintenance time with scheduled watering
  • Evenly distributes water
Irrigation system disadvantages:
  • Professionally installed systems cost between $3,000-$4,000 for a quarter-acre lot.
  • Some do-it-yourself systems cost up to $1,500 but are difficult to install.
  • You may need to call a professional electrician and plumber, adding $300-$600 to your project.
Some plants can stand up to the cold weather, like kale or pansies. These can be planted in the autumn or early winter. Other plants need to wait until the soil is warm and ready. Plant perennial flowers in mid-autumn or mid-spring. If you're planting from seed or sprout, you can generally find information about planting conditions on the package.
Why get artificial grass?
  • Cuts down on lawn maintenance
  • It's environmentally friendly since there’s no need to water.
  • Artificial grasses may be more attractive than real grass in drought-stricken areas.
Why stick to the real deal?
  • Artificial grass has a high upfront cost - $15 to $20 per square foot.
  • It can be difficult to install.
  • Inexpensive options might look unnatural.
  • It gets hot in the sun.
First, determine which pests you're dealing with. Mounds or tunnels indicate moles or voles. Apply castor oil to your lawn; they'll find another digging spot. Determine which bugs you have by pouring a bucket of soapy water onto the lawn. The bugs will surface so you can identify them. Milky spore and nematodes keep grubs and other bugs at bay. Insecticidal soap also works. The best way to prevent pests is with good yard maintenance. Certain bugs prefer overwatered lawns or yards with thatches. Regular mowing, watering, and dethatching discourage pests from moving in.
Fertilizer isn't always necessary, but it can keep your lawn looking lush and healthy. Use fertilizer with slow release nitrogen so it doesn't encourage weeds to grow. Keep in mind that overfertilizing can spur weed growth. However, under-fertilizing can result in weak grass, which gives weeds more space to take root.
