(6/28/17) for Aptive EnviornmentalThe complimentary introductory "service" by Aptive Environmental was done Tuesday June 27, 2017y as described in the Service Agreement presented and described Monday June 26, 2017 by the Aptive Environmental sales representative Ryan Plante. While the guy (technician?) was here for the "service", I was working east (and close) to my house. So I was home and had ample opportunity to observe the technician while he was present. On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 1 the worst and 10 the best), my opinion of the "service" yesterday is a 3! My opinion of the "service" is a 3 only because the guy showed up and was friendly.The technician was here only for a total time of 30 minutes or less to do what was described by the sales representative as a $229 gratis complete introductory (initial) service. A large portion of the total time the technician was here was for preparing something by his pickup truck and was not devoted to treatment activities! Plante made a "big deal" of emphasizing my landscaping and that the entire perimeter of the property, including the landscaping and my yards, would be treated. I NOT observe the technician to go anywhere near the perimeter of my property nor did I observe him in the yards. My landscaping includes decorative rock around the front lawn. Plante emphasized that the rock would be treated. I did NOT observe the technician go anywhere near the decorative rock nor did I observe him treating other areas of rocks, etc. I could go on, but this message has limited space. You should get the message that I am very unhappy with Aptive Environmental and certainly would NOT recommend Aptive Environmental to anybody! In fact, if asked about Aptive Environmental, I will express my opinion of Aptive Environmental.I am fortunate that I did not need to pay $229 for this "service". I think I just may send this to the Better Business Bureau and the Denver Consumer Protection Agency!
I guess they are OK. We have been a customer for 2 years. We switched from Terminix to Edge because Terminix did not remove bees nests and Edge is suppose to. So we went with them. When we had our quarterly service 2 weeks ago a young cleanly dressed Edge technician treated our house. Today we discovered that our back patio is full of tiny bugs, and also we discovered bees nests on the trampoline. So today is Saturday and I was happily pleased when I phoned them and spoke to a very nice lady at their headquarters, and she arranged for their technician to return on Monday to treat the problems. She told me that with all this summer heat such bug problems are to be expected. So how can anybody complain about this responsive service like your folks below. Plus it seems like the complaints are about the sales people and not the technician treatment. We have not really had bug problems. And Mr. Terminix...please note that Edge does bees. I hate bees. I wish bee hive collapse syndrome would wipe out all bees above 5000 feet, which would certainly cover my house in Colorado. So if you go elsewhere to a different company you better see if they cover bees. Yah, I don't know if bees and wasps are the same. I know Edge does not exterminate bumblebees. But they do take care of my bee hives that I am too afraid of to take care of myself. Of course if I am suddenly displeased on Monday I will let you know about it. But for now I am a two year long term pleased customer of Edge.
@JoeHatingfield23...You should be ashamed of yourself. For a company that I've researched and found to have 11,000 regularly serviced customers in Denver and growing, it doesn't sound a company that is hurting to me. I met the salesman you are referring to. He said your son instigated the aggression and disrespect to him, telling the salesman multiple times to "go screw yourself" and "you're such a dumb a$$" which you failed to mention. Also, that your garage was wide open and could be seen from the street (no need to be "peeked" in to). The paint on the walkway was completely dry and your son cursed and yelled at him only AFTER not before he walked on your dry doorstep. You didn't mention that either btw. If you're going to try to slander an upstanding company like Edge Pest Control, at least state the whole story. I heard your neighbors literally next door and across the street still ended up using Edge service from the same salesman even AFTER you tried to coax them out of it... is that true? This shows how much your very own neighbors trust your opinion. NOT AT ALL!!!
This is an UNSOLICITED review. I contacted Time Plumbing after another company I used for 3 years provided terrible service causing our sewer to back up for the first time in about 10 years. That other company is all corporate, only caring about $$$ (I'll leave them a negative review next.) Anyway, Nathan from Time Plumbing was skilled, tidy and not in a damn rush like the other company. He knew what he was doing, used the appropriate sized blades & carefully removed the mess that ARS Rescue Rooter left behind. Our line is now working better than it has in a long time and I sleep well not worrying about a back up.Notes:* Nathan provided a courtesy call about 20 minutes before showing up so I didn't have to wait at home for hours* I received same day service (this is possibly an extra expense. I didn't ask because I needed immediate assistance.)* Very knowledgeable* Value priced services* Diligent work ethics* TidyMy sincerest thanks! Amy C.
Service Experts is a phenomenal company and their employees are not only professional, but they actually care and take pride in their work. I had a new air conditioner installed and would like to recognize Matt, Eric and Nick for prompt service, high-quality work and excellent care of my home. Chris K. who was my former technician for many years and is now sales advisor was very helpful in my AC purchase. He is very knowledgeable of various heating and cooling products and presented several options based on listening to my needs. Gabe is the technician that determined that my AC needed replacement during my spring tuneup and has also been servicing my furnace for years --- another trustworthy, reliable and conscientious employee who has exceeded my expectations. Service Experts is the only company I use for my furnace and AC semi-annual checks and I highly recommend them and have never been disappointed!
Edge has been great. My wife signed up with them a year and a half ago. She has had no complaints. I actually talked to one of their technicians for the first time last week. He was very cordial and professional. I am writing this review because a sales rep from another company came to my door and told me all sorts of bad things about this company. I called them and talked to the manager who cleared up all of my concerns and reassured me of what they were using at my house and and since we have had good results with them and I researched their product I have nothing but good to say. It's too bad some competitors have to stoop to that level. I would recommend Edge Pest Control. Thanks!
I had a emergency with my heating system and i called Service Experts and spoke with someone in the office who was very helpful, and very professional , upon explaining my problem the person was SUPER helpful and got a service tech out to my property within 2 hours and i was very pleased with that as well as with the pricing, the tech presented what the issue was and what it was going to cost me , and i was taken back that this company wasnt like any other company out there trying to nickle and dime you. i would recommend Service Experts and i am so HAPPY that i got great fast service for my first time calling!!! SPREAD THE WORD!! of Great Customer Service and reasonable prices!!!
The tech was great and very friendly. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. I am not sure if there was a miscommunication when signing up for the service, but when I spoke to the rep that signed me up, I think his name was Spencer, he told us that a technician would come in the house and remove all of the spider webs from the attic and the basement as to make sure spiders were not able to travel between the walls this way. If this could be explained as to why this was not done it would be greatly appreciated, All that was done was the outside was sprayed and a rat bait station was placed in my back yard.
Edge has been coming to my house in Arvada for a little over a year now. A nice young man came by last summer when my neighbors houses were getting taken care of. He offered us a special deal and we have been very grateful for the time and care that Edge puts into every service. They offer free treatments in between the ones that are regularly scheduled if we ever need them. They are polite, professional and their service works great.We were using a big name brand company before but they weren't taking care of our wasps, Edge DOES remove wasps and keep them away. My son is allergic so we've been very grateful!
We're very happy with the new AC installation service we received from Service Experts! Chris was very knowledgeable & clear in helping us decide on what unit to install & patiently answered all our questions. Derrik, Shannon, and the other installation techs, were as professional as one could hope for! I have 2 little boys and 2 dogs, and the men were very careful to work quickly & safely, & without leaving any mess. They installed the AC unit & all other required mechanisms in one day. We now have a nice cool home! I highly recommend Service Experts of Longmont!!
