Star Kitchen
In my first meal at Star Kitchen, I was pleased to discover a menu full of many great choices and old favorites. The food was very good and so was the service on a busy Saturday night. I had planned on being a regular. However, I later found my bank account was charged a 26% tip, when I had left an 18% tip. I disputed the charge I did not sign for through my bank, and the bank – not the restaurant – refunded me the unauthorized tip. There was also a security issue: The restaurant allowed a man to distribute marketing flyers at its front door, and when I refused a flyer on the way into the restaurant, the man blocked me from getting to my car on the way out. He stood in front of my car door. I had to tell him several times to leave me alone to be able to drive away. This made me uncomfortable and was an unpleasant way to end my meal. I alerted the restaurant, but don’t know whether any action was taken to prevent this from happening to other customers.

Strange Grounds
Strange Grounds is a diamond in the rough. The atmosphere and staff welcome you like old friends and family in their home-away-from-home, and their eats and treats are surprisingly decadent being made from scratch with love. Morning hours vary (and the door says 10ish, which is fair) because their night life is thriving with live music and comedy. The best part? Live acoustic music happens all the time, and many local groups choose to grace their house with live music while they jam together. Frieda has managed to cultivate a wonderful place for creatives and intellectuals to gather and mingle like coffee shops of old, and I look forward to watching her place grow through the years while I and all the new friends I've made here enjoy her fantastic coffee, wonderful food, and beautiful music together.

Blue Bonnet Cafe & Lounge
I currently work at the Blue Bonnet and you can get horrible to great service, honestly the only reason we're still open is the happy hour. Come weekdays 2-6 and you won't be sorry but stay away other than that the only thing I get on the menu is chicken tacos or a chicken burrito. We have real Mexican cooks and if it wasn't up to the owners what they made them we'd have some authentic Mexican food... It just goes to show Jewish people can't successfully run a authentic Mexican restaurant so give it a try on the weekdays it's worth the try and sit at the bar if you don't want to worry about bad service

Calico Corners in Cherry Creek really came through for us on a large order of custom drapes. Within a week of placing the order, our fabric went on clearance at 50% off. After my stomach dropped a country mile, I approached them and wanted to see if they could do anything for us -- they did! Management honored the reduced price, and certainly they could have balked and said - "tough." They were very courteous and offered the discount and have been extremely helpful through the process. Highly recommend and you can buy will confidence that they will go the extra mile for you.

100% de Agave
You have to check this new place out! The food is spectacular, the decor is absolutely beautiful and the staff takes great care of you. When you stop by start with some Pepe's Street tacos - spicy shrimp are well worth the extra $1 and get some table side guacamole and pair it with the Spicy Agave cocktail. Hang out for a bit maybe get a shot or two and then order dinner, take it all in because this place is worth taking the time to relax. You can order anything from the menu and it will not disappoint, I promise. Check it out soon because I think this place will be reservation only soon.

Gypsy Cafe
Satiating the late-night munchies in Denver. The concept is simple: create your own meal combinations (over 100 ways) choosing from an array of Urban Pita (whole wheat or white) Urban Bowl (brown rice or spinach/cilantro rice), Urban Dip (hummus, sun-dried tomato & garlic hummus, babaganoush, yogurt, etc.) or Urban Salad (tabbouleh, fattoush, tuscan kale, etc.), and then add from a selection of toppings including crispy rotisserie chicken, lamb shawarma, beef kefta, falafel, cauliflower, stuffed grape leaves, potato, feta and more.

Rico Pollo
Reason why gave 3 stars cause been going there for years and give less chicken now, started off going to one to one on colfax now go to one on chamber, hated it at first, but the one on colfax is to far now since moved, beans are soupy, but got better, but don't think its worth the price anymore, cause use to get full off but now have to get the half chicken to get full and not worth the price anymore only go now about once every 3 months when use to go once a week

Henry's Tavern
We were staying downtown and looking for a place to eat and have some drinks. Per the ratings, we decided to give Henry's a try and were not disappointed! We were there on a Saturday evening, no reservations, and the place was busy. Got seated right away and the waitress took very good care of us. Made sure our drinks were full, checked on us regularly. The food was very good, large portions. Highly recommend!

Lola Coastal Mexican
This restaurant has a nice ambiance You can hear everyone pretty well. The music is kept at a nice low but audible level. The wine is amazing and the food overall is pretty good. Well priced. A nice sit-down place if you don't mind a bit of a wait. Good customer service. Nice waiters. Comfortable chairs and booths with plenty of space. Elegant decorations. I liked it a lot. :)

Las Tortas
This is one of my favorite spots to eat at. They have amazing Mexican sandwiches and flan. The employees are really nice and efficient too. It's great to dine-in or carry-out. The place is clean and the meats and toppings taste fresh. I highly recommend everyone who's seeking Mexican for dinner or lunch, try out Las Tortas. You will not be steered wrong :).
