Double Check Towing
I called Double Check the other day because my coolant hose exploded and I needed a tow downtown. The owner, Dave, said he would be out in 30-40 minutes and made it there on time. Most towing companies quote 60 minutes plus, so that was a pleasant surprise.Dave quickly loaded up my car and let me ride down to the auto shop with him. He let me go inside and start my order while he unloaded my car, and was helpful throughout. Once we were settled up, he was thoughtful enough to mention that I could turn in my receipt to my insurance company for reimbursement. I was so distracted by the frustration of car trouble that I would have completely spaced it.Overall, Dave is great at what he does and very thoughtful. Calling Double Check Towing made an otherwise frustrating situation a little more bearable. Stop reading this and make the call!

Just in their this week and a complete joke! Doug you should be embarrassed to have your managment in place! Tim General Manager, Charlie store manager a complete joke! I'm in sales and weather I could someone or not I would provide a potential customer with suck rudeness and disrespect! Doug if I was you I would fire them all! So much disappointment with dealership and GM should know how bad you treat their potential customers! NEVER WOULD I RECCOMEND THIS DEALERSHIP, EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY!

Do not ever take tour car to this shop. Don supposedly looked over my car and said things looked good as long as I had him fix the transmission. I questioned him because I already had around 200,000 miles on it. he said the engine had a slight oil leak that he would also fix and it would be good as new. He was a smooth talker and convinced me. I was without my car for almost a month. He never called me back. I kept calling and got a different excise every time. my final bill was over $1000 more than the original bill. The first time Don said my car was fixed, his mechanic and my son tried to bring ot home when it made a horrible noise abd died out. So back to the shop again. When I finally got my car back it had strange sounds that were not there before. Toyota had to put in a new ECU. Toyoya told Don it wasn't shifting right and had the car towed to Don because they didn't suggest driving it. But Don said obviously Toyota didn't drive it to let it learn the ECU and said it was fine. It never sounded right but I figured maybe it would get better once it learned the ECU like Don said. I was already out tons of work because I drove for work and had no car for a month. I brought the car back to Don and told him it didn't sound right to me. He said he didn't have time to look at it that day even though he told me I didn't need an appointment. He claims he fixed oil leaks in the engine, put on a new mount, fixed the breaks and installed a new transmission. I paid him over $4000 by the time i got done. Now my car is not drivable and he refuses to figure out what the problem is. I'm guessing he never new what the problem was from the beginning which is why it took a month. I'm out $4000 and have no car. I WOULD NEVER TRUST THIS SHOP WITH ANY CAR.

When I learned that our local Morrison Gerber wasn't accepting collision repairs for the next six months, I called the Santa Fe Drive Denver store and the wonderful woman who answered explained that because of the recent hail damage, Denver area Gerbers weren't able to take new repairs for months. BUT, she asked if our Subaru is operable (it isn't) and then volunteered to ask the manager for advice. She actually cared that we would be without our vehicle for six months. The manager (Ed) recommended I call the Boulder Gerber and we had our repairs started within a week. Thanks Santa Fe Drive Gerber!
