Nice spot on the intercoastal waterway. Blackened mahi sandwich is my favorite. If you have family in from out of town this place is great for the Florida ambiance, chill and watch the boats go by.

Three total visits to this place since they remodeled & horrible service! Pea size shrimps, & skinny scampi. The last straw was on my Birthday! The waiter was in a snappy mood & basically she screwed herself out of tip! Waiters now a days look at you like they know the tip will suck. Im a very generous tipper.

Fun little spot on the water, my friends and I usually go by boat and we've never had a problem getting a boat slip. The outside bar is good for watching football although there aren't many food or drink specials. Brunch is usually packed so get there early.

Great casual food ,burgers, bisque's, soups, salads, etc...\r Great drinks and the night life there is fun with a great fun loving crowd looking for fun and not a fight.\r Food was quick to the table even at the busiest times.\r The drinks were poured generously and well made, I asked for a drink made in a specific way and it came just the way I like it every time.

The new owners of this business have continued the experience of consuming tasty Italian food at a price that is affordable. The only thing that myself and my wife would prefer (personal preference) is that regular Italian bread be provided with the lunch instead of the current chabaca (SP) type that is now supplied. Waitresses as well as the owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make dining here a very pleasant experience.

I have been coming to Sandwiches By The Sea for 13 years, When Pat was still the owner.. When Dave took over it got even better. I lived in the town for 12 years, and went there just about every day...Tried just about everything (my personal favorite) is the Hot S. Dave knows how all his patrons like their sandwiches. My 2 daughters used to go there every day as well. If you are looking for killer chicken salad, to The Hurricane,,,go there..I am a chef and very picky about any food. His Rules...Hat's off to you Dave....Anne Marie

I've tried Scollops ever where and this restaurants has the best sea scollops! I dont know what "" regular guy"" was talking about ...!! They had a light egg wash batter , then pan sauteed in a wine garlic and butter very tasty. Later on i found out that they had a write up in the Sun Sentinel about the Sauteed Scollops. I recommend this place to only people who want to eat good and fresh! I try to come once a week ...keep up the good work...

I was visiting friends in Florida, and they mentioned that they wanted a good steak. Since I'm from Atlanta, I knew that a company from up here had some restaurants in S. FL. Sure enough, Chops Lobster Bar was definitely worth the 40 minute drive to get there. We had made reservations (a good bet!) and they had our table waiting. \r \r Our server anticipated our every need and made great recommendations on everything from the cocktails to wine to food. The ""Gold Digger"" Martini is a playful cocktail and really tasty. All of their drinks sounded great. Then, the table picked a nice red wine to complement the steaks we all ordered. We never had to lift a finger and our wine / water glasses were never close to empty. \r \r I had the fried lobster tail (a favorite at some of their Atlanta locations) and it was everything I remembered. Crispy, not greasy at all, and the lobster was juicy and succulent. Then, I had a filet mignon with creamed spinach and mashed corn. It was all perfectly prepared the way I ordered it. \r \r I was stuffed, but managed to eat a few bites of the molten lava cake and it was SO good. Crisp on the outside and lava-y on the inside. Served with pistachio ice cream it was worth every calorie. \r \r I'd go back as often as I'm in town and would tell all my friends if they're in the area, it's a MUST. It's not inexpensive, for sure, but a really good value for what you get.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant through word of mouth and we have gone back quite a few times since then. It has a great atmosphere where you can dress up if you'd like to or go semi-casual. The cost of the outstanding food is well worth it! The service is excellent and I am going there to celebrate my birthday!!

Food was fairly decent, but the waiter was one of the worst I have ever encountered! Ate here tonight, February 10, 2017. We both had stone crab claws which is generally difficult to screw up, so they were great. For an appetizer, I had ceviche was fairly good, though a bit spicy. I had also ordered a side dish of sauteed spinach which was not prepared decently at all. The waiter, however, was a totally different story. We sat down and it took a while for him to come over. I asked a question about a mixed drink and had no idea what I was talking about. He then went over to ask the bartender and when he came back, it explained the drink totally wrong. When I ordered the ceviche, he had no idea what I was ordering It took him 1/2 hour to bring out our order, which is served cold. Other patrons ordered, received their meals and finished before we received ours. He totally forgot about my spinach and I had to remind him. When you serve stone crab claws, you always bring out hand wipes or extra napkins as they are messy. Not this guy, we had to ask for them. He just was inexperienced and seemed lost. We will go back again for the stone crab claws as they were a fairly good deal, but if this waiter, Justin, is our waiter, I will ask for another waiter. It is also the fault of the restaurant as they should offer better training. I left a smaller than normal tip.
