Bars in Delaware, OH
40 S Sandusky St
There are many different types of people that come in there. The college kids do not get away with murder, I work there and have for a couple years now so I do see everything and I have personally thrown out more college kids than anything but dealing with fights and the safety there we have more fights that deal around the people from town than from fights from the college kids and in ANY bar, if you are a part of it you get thrown out. If you DO NOT work there DO NOT step in. To say that "All the underage(18-20) kids are drunk in there EVERY weekend" is not true, obviously because the place has been open for 10+ years, but it is not true whatsoever because they are throwing those underage kids out all the time because it is against the law and it's a bar, you will have the underage drinking anywhere you go. I have never had a problem there and I always have fun even when I am working there or even before I started working there. The owner is a good judge of ***CHARACTER (not "caricature") seeing all the people that don't work there and how efficient we are now with how we control the situations. All business's have flaws especially when you're dealing with bars because there will be fights any bar you go to. But this bar, is one of the better ones I've been to, and one of the reasons I do work there. I have to say whoever wrote the review above me was obviously mad about something so to get even they went on and made a bad review about the place which is one thing, but to downgrade the owner on a review shows that your review is very biased and very unhelpful.

Owner is racist! Take your money across the street to Barley Hopsters! But save your money for an establishment that is inclusive of all people, not just white racists!! Owner called a patron the N word three times.

I happened on this place on a lazy Sunday afternoon during football season. The place was clean, the bartender was friendly, and the place smelled awesome. ( Turns out they have a wood burning pizza oven) My plan was to have a few beers and head home, but the beer was cold and cheap. I ended up ordering a Philly cheesesteak, and it was awesome. (I've lived in Philly, so I know my cheesesteak) I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fries are hand cut and cooked to perfection. I've been back a few times for lunch, and have tried other menu items. The pizzas are great, tomato soup with grilled cheese, and my favorite salad is the spinach one. I tried the fried pickles, but I'm not a fan. Been there for happy hour, and it was pretty busy, but the waitress took care of me and my buddies. (good looking waitstaff, nice bonus) Being a smoker, I appreciated the covered patio with a propane heater. Overall, it's a great place.....especially around the Polaris area.

The Pad Thai and Spicy Tuna Sushi are 2 of my favorites dishes. I've been eating lunch here about every other week for the past few months. They have a lot of original Sushi rolls I'm looking forward to trying as well. The ingredients in everything I've eaten so far are really fresh and of great quality. Highly recommend going here especially when lunch specials start at $7.25 which includes a soup or appetizer.

Ordered the ribs and a pint of Stella, the meat fell off the bone before it hit my mouth, thanks Ray for the extra napkins. They rolled me to the bar after i slayed the half rack. Looked more like a whole rack to me. Chilled at the bar with some of the regulars what a killer place. I dont kwow what crack pipe bella was puffing on but give me some I'm hitting this hidden sweet spot again.

It's always a toss up between the pork chop or porterhouse. They're both better than what you'll find at other Columbus restaurants that charge more than twice as much and don't include sides (Smith & Wollensky's). The menu says that the pork chop is the best you'll ever have, they aren't lying.
