Park Central Family Practice
I would like a name and phone number of a supervisor/owner of this practice. I am so disappointed with the service I received on yesterday. It was the worst service I ever received. I heard more bad excuses then I did service. After being in the office for almost 2 1/2 hours, I had to remind them, my vital signs wasn't taking. They were going to give me another EKG and chest x-ray because they didn't remember I had that done 2 weeks before. I still never got any results from the visit before. I WILL NOT RETURN back here. I will pay out of pocket to go get another physical, chest x-ray, and blood work to make sure I get accurate results. I initially went in for headaches (for almost a month) and the loss of muscles usage on my left side. I know no more now, the I did before going in, and no great help in referring me to a Neuroligist. I don't want them calling me all is ok, just to say it.. Strokes and heart attacks run in my family, but none of that was asked. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!! My PA was Dr. H. Moody.

Shaanta A Hanagud M.D.
Dr. Hangud is a doctor with Kaiser. She is our family's primary care doctor and we think the world of her. Her office is easy to get to right off of Ponce and they validate parking, which is HUGE! It was hard to find a doctor that was open to alternative and integrative medicine under our Kaiser plan. Though my insurance doesn't cover any of those additional treatments, Dr. Hangud collects the information and confirms if I am doing the right things or gives general recommendations. Also when she has to refer me to other doctors, she knows which ones are "holistic" friendly and does not mock the use of teas or healing through diet modifications.

Primary Care Center
My husband, both my kids and I are patients at the primary care center for a few years now. I found this place when I use to take my mom over there for her doctor visits. I use to go to some other doctor in Decatur before then. When I saw how good they were with my mom, I switched and I am glad I did. I even stopped going to my Gyn because primary care does pap smears too and at cheaper copay than my Gyn..Everytime my kids are sick, specially on the weekends I take them there .I never have any issues, actually they like going there instead of going to their regular pediatrician. Staff members are very friendly and courteous.

First Medical Care Inc
Dr. Harjee is awesome!! I'm so happy she accepted me as a new patient! She's all I was looking for in a new doctor! Dr. Harjee made me feel like I had her undivided attention the entire time I was interacting with her! And she even called to give me an update on my blood work and dr. for life! Highly recommend her! And the office staff was very professional and ready to assist as well! Thanks to all for a wonderful experience!

Dr. IDA Lanier-Gregg
Dr. Lanier and her team have been a great asset to our community. I have referred many people to her practice. She is very knowledgeable with her craft. For people who are scared to visit the dentist, Dr. Lanier is just the person to see. She has a very calm and kind demeanor about her. Everyone that I have referred her to, says she's the best in the business. Now, they won't go to anyone else. We need more people like her in our community.

Greene, Tamara S, MD
I have been a patient of Dr. Greene's for almost four years. She initially treated me for Cluster Headaches. Two years ago, I began experiencing extreme fatigue and was bedridden for four months with an undiagnosed ailment. Dr. Greene correctly identified my disease and has been very aggressive in developing my treatment regimen. She is a great physician who listens and cares about her patients.

Maurice Jove MD
Doctor Jove is very good at explaining procedures, alternatives, and post-op care. My mom had a knee and foot surgery with him and she had no issues and recovered quickly. Appointments always run on time and nursing staff is very competent, caring, and friendly.

Doyle, Jessica M
Dr. Doyle is thoughtful and listens. She is never quick to prescribe and is excellent whether we're talking social/emotional issues or medical ones. When we're with her, we feel like we're with a loyal friend who would never let us down.
Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
