Oakwood Veterinary Clinic
I honestly cant believe the reviews that have been posted. This doctor and his employees have always treated my family and i with absolute respect. My cats hind legs had just out of no where stopped working on her, she could not walk at all. The next day i was able to make an appointment with them. There was not a long wait and with some tests he determined she had heart disease. He has prescribed her with medications and has even given them to us for free, he gave us food for free, at the drop of a dime the receptionist sent a prescription for my cats food after i ran out of what they gave me. The best part is my baby is 1000% better!! She would not have eaten if it werent for the food and the syringes they gave me to feed her with, she was too weak to chew. She would not have gotten better if it wasnt for the medicine and the EXPERTISE this vet has that probably saved my cats life and continues to keep her going. She is walking and even jumping and running a little, not bad for an 18 year old cat with heart disease!!! I am forever grateful for this vet clinic and the proffesionals that work here that saved my kitty. And if you cant hear him ask him to speak up, it's really not that hard.

Anstadt, Sven VMD
Five stars! Dr. Sven Anstadt has helped me out twice on the spur of the moment. The first time I came in with an emergency, which the vet up the street would not help me with because he stated he was closing at that time. Dr. Anstadt was also ready to close, but he stayed open to help my dog, which was choking and foaming at the mouth. He and his staff spent a good half hour with her until she recovered enough to go home, and they were very kind and gracious about staying open late. Another time, I needed a can of prescription dog food, and the vet up the street would not sell it to me even though he had it in stock. I again tried Dr. Anstadt's office. Although he did not have it in stock, he offered to sell me an alternative that had some additional benefits to it, so I was very grateful. Dr. Anstadt is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of tips to help pet owners nip problems in the bud and correct behaviors that undermine a pet's health. I appreciated his willingness and that of his staff to help.

Woodman Drive Animal Hospital LLC
Doctors Middlebrooks and Lloyd are the two nicest people you ever want to meet. They really listen to what you have to say about your pet and explain everything to you in terms you understand, but they don't talk down to you. The whole staff there are wonderful, caring and informative. They all understand that when you bring in your pet sick, you are very worried and they are compassionate to your needs. And when the time comes for your beloved pet to cross the rainbow bridge, I couldn't find better people to help you with that terrible task.If you are waiting on results of a test, you get a call from the Doctor, so that if there are questions they have answers. They even call to check up on how your pet is doing, who does that anymore. You never feel like a number you are a part of the family. It is one of the top animals hospitals with the best service and professionalism.I rate them A+++

Posh Pets
Posh Pets is amazing! After moving and trying several groomers in the area and being completely disappointed - a friend told me about Posh Pets. My 2 Miniature Schnauzers looks awful. They were matted and honestly I told the groomer that I liked a standard schnauzer cut but understood if she would have to shave them down and begin the standard cut next time. I was completely caught off guard when I showed up and my pups looked beautiful! Fluffy and in a standard cut and a PERFECT cut. I've owned Schnauzers for 20 years and I have never seen a groomer be able to do what she did! My groomers name was Alisha and she was just awesome. Thank you so much to Posh Pets - your pets are part of your family and it's nice when you can trust your groomer!

Huber Heights Animal Hospital
So, Huber Heights Animal Hospital is not the fanciest vet in town But I can assure you it is the best. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pet's. We normally see Dr. Hinde (THE BEST), but over the years, we have seen all of the doctor's at one time or another & they are all fantastic! Kind, thorough, competent & patient with our many questions. The support staff is also wonderful! Very friendly, very compassionate & very good at what they do! If you are looking for nothing but the best healthcare for your pet, this is definitely the place to go! Thanks Huber Heights Animal Hospital, for loving our pets as we do! (Special thanks to Dr. Hinde, Danni, Jamie, Carrie, Sherrie & Melissa for being so awesome at what you do!!)

Pet Suites
In August we had to go to Ohio for my fathers funeral and we couldn't place my two dogs in there usual resort in Orlando on short notice, so we took them with us. We found a hotel that excepted dogs, but it was aweful and I didn't want my babies staying there. So my sister recommended Petsuites. Well, we couldn't believe it. It was just perfect. It was unbelievably clean. Everybody was so nice. My dogs were not eating. Probably due to their first long car ride ever. So I dropped by with some can food. And the called me to tell me that they ate and #2. They didn't have to do that. I was so thankful to have found them especially since my mind was on my family during this time.

Northgate Animal Hospital
I have two Prairie Dogs, and when the time arised for a vet check it wasn't just a check up, it was an EMERGENCY!!! I found multiple Vets in the phone book that stated they dealt with exptic pets but when it came down to it, Northgate was the only place that came through in the Emergency! !! Not only were they wonderful with my sweet Baby girl Prairie Dog, but the Doctor eased my mind by sharing the knowledge he had about my pets species. He had actually studied Prairie Dogs in his fellowship and was so empathetic of my fear in my eemergency and eased my fear and fixed my baby!!!Thank you Northgate Animal Clinic!!

Five Oaks Mobile Pet Clinic
I would recommend Dr. Belue, he came to our home on a Saturday, he took great care of our dog and provided great information for us. Our dog has a very serous skin allergy, Dr. Belue came prepared to help his skin Reaction and provided additional flea support. It's not easy taking out large breed dog to the vet, having a mobile pet clinic quickly arrive at our home was huge for our family. Dr. Belue was very kind and professional and really helped us. He also let us know he has an office where u can schedule an appointment without a waiting area, perfect for our dog. Thank you Dr. Belue!

Far Hills Animal Clinic
It's all in the family. Not only do they make you feel like family, but they are, Father, Daughter, Son. And what a wonderful family of knowledgable Vets they are, they will put their heads together to make sure you pet gets the best care. And I don't know any clinic that does more charity work than they do. If they think an animal can be saved, they will do their very best to bring the pet back to life. But if your pet's time is up, sometimes they will cry right with you and that is true love of animals and your work. They all are tops in my book.

Huber Heights Animal Hospital
I have used Huber Heights Animal Hospital for many years now. My parents and I used them when I was a child growing up. So all in all I have used them on and off since 1984. They are a wonderful group and I will go no where else. I have had to have 2 cats put down in my life and with one I was able to sit with him and say goodbye the other one my dad took on his own cause it was so soon after the first that my mom and I couldn't handle it. They have always been very nice to us and always know us when we come in and play with out animals as well.
Tips & Advices
Bring medical records and medications that your pet is taking. Also, you should bring your ID and a form of payment.
Yes, there are veterinary clinics that only deal with emergency cases. They generally take walk-ins and referrals from family vets.
Yes, emergency vets treat dental emergencies and dental trauma. Freshly fractured teeth are the main category of dental injury that vets consider an emergency.
To prevent health emergencies, experts recommend supervising one’s pets, and trying to make sure they don’t get into emergency situations. A majority of emergency vet visits happen because animals were struck by cars, bit by other animals, or ingested toxins. Otherwise, the best way to prevent emergencies is by having a go-to vet you can call with any questions, and being vigilant about potential symptoms (i.e. runny stool, or trouble walking) as they appear but before they become extremely serious.
Experts say that the conditions that necessitate an emergency veterinarian visit include collapse, seizures, inability to walk, partial paralysis, and any difficulty breathing (non-stop panting, constant coughing, hyperventilation, or elevated heart rate). Gum color is often an indicator that something is wrong--especially blue gums or very pale gums. Excessive vomiting or a distended abdomen should be considered an emergency situation. Signs of any trauma or excessive bleeding should send your pet straight to the vet. Lastly, for cat owners, urinary obstruction is fatal if not treated, and generally occurs in male cats.
