Called, told Judy what kind of car I had and what it needed, she said I could come in that afternoon. I declined but made an appointment for the next morning. I left the car the next day and picked it up in about and hour and a half. The bill was exactly what she said it would be. In other words, they did exactly what they said they would! Perfect service. And the cost was significantly lower that other places I called.

Had my transmission repaired here on 11/18/14. Service was outstanding. Very professional and even gave me a ride back home since I had to leave the car with them all day. To top that off when I picked the car up the next morning it was 25 degress out. They warmed my car up and scrapped the ice off of the windshield for me! I will be back for any transmission repairs. Sincerely...Josh Tidmore

We took our car here on the advice of friends. Our 2007 Edge started having severe transmission shudder. The initial verbal estimate was around $2000. The final outcome was closer to $4000! Then while my wife was driving home, she noticed a crack in our windshield. We immediately called them and were told to bring it back in the morning because because they were closed. Once we got back up there we were pretty much told, "Well, my guys didn't do that. That's what you have insurance for." I know my car very well and I know the windshield was NOT cracked before it went up there. You would think they would go on the premise the customer is always right and not assume there was no way it could have happened in their shop!

Had brakes replaced here. They were very professional! They even shuttled me to a nearby coffee shop to do some work while I waited. Highly recommended! Thanks from Benefits Negotiator

Eastern Shore Toyota
I stopped by Eastern Shore Toyota to have a tire repaired and was greeted by William Vinson. He took me to the service department and made sure I was taken care of. The staff is friendly. Whenever I am in the market for my next vehicle I will be sure to request Mr Vinson.

Eastern Shore Toyota has the best dealership I have ever visited. I would certainly be sending my friends and family to Mathew Dickinson. He was born a car dealer! He was amazing and gave me the best help anyone could ask for. Thank you Mathew!

I really wish I could have rated this at 0 stars. I live about 50 miles from the dealership. I called them and asked if they had a vehicle in stock around 3 pm and set up a time to come and see it at 1015 the next morning. They called me back around 8 pm and reconfirmed my appointment and stated that the vehicle was still available. Well that was a complete lie!! When i got there they tried to sell me a new vehicle which I didn't want and told them right away I didn't want a new vehicle. And then the told me that the vehicle I drove over 50 miles to potential purchase had been sold the day before at 6pm which was also a lie!! It had been sold 2 days prior. So basically they just wanted to get me in the door and try to sell me a new vehicle. Then they told me they had a different used vehicle that I may be interested in but it was in the body shop because one of the workers had backed into a light pole and had a small scratch on the bumper, yet another lie!! The vehicle that was in the body shop they didn't even want to negotiate on the price because they said they didn't report the "accident" and it would never show up on a car fax report as being damaged!!! What a bunch of thieves and liars!! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone after all the lies that they told me!!
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
