Jiffy Lube
Really bad service. I would not tell anybody to go here. Tried to overcharge me, and the work done, took so long it was ridiculous. To finish the experience, the assistant manager has a very bad attitude problem. Stay away from here.

Mohawk West Tire Auto Center
mohawk west: got there at 5:15 knowing they close at 6:30 for a 10 minute oil change when guy behind counter immediately dismissed me and say there was no way he could fit me in. after looking into the service bays and not seeing a single car in there i shook my head and said 6:30 huh. he just smirked as i walked out. went next door to mobil 1 and they took me right in even though they closed in 10 minutes. workers were happy to help me and professional. i will never go to mohawk again.

Greco Tire & Auto
Stay away from this company, can't even do an oil change right. Didn't tighten oil filter and all the oil poured out. Almost blew my engine. Owner did not do anything. Told me he was not refunding my money and to basically screw off. WORST PLACE TO BRING YOUR CAR. STAY FAR AWAY AND TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS SO THEY DON'T GET RIPPED OFF TOO

Plan B Tires
I brought my vehicle here to have the tires rotated and balanced. A few days later when attempting to change the front brakes, I found that all of the lug nuts were dangerously over torqued. Proper lug torque should be a basic understanding of any shop, especially one that specializes in tires. Do not trust this place with your vehicle or your safety.

Autotech-Saab Specialist
George, the owner of Autotech, is an excellent mechanic and on websites from Yelp to Google, he is recommended by nearly everyone. He is honest, hard working, and not that expensive compared to dealerships. While he focuses on Saab, Subaru, Honda, Acura, BMW, and Audi and has the computers to handle all those brands, he also does other brands as well such as Buick and Volvo. I cannot say enough about him and he services my 10 year old Saab with 140,000+ miles and my two year old Subaru with 38,000 miles. He is able to keep them running for minimal cost and even will recommend non-brand parts for the Saab if he thinks a third party provider will be better. You cannot do better than Autotech.

Danbury AutoWerks
Do not bring your vehicle to Danbury auto does not werks! I've brought my vehicle there for front brakes and control arms and the vehicles front wheels squeal like a pig being tortured! For 3 times now I have brought it back and it continues to squeal loudly. They tell me that they don't hear it meanwhile its embarrasing and obnoxoisly annoying. Also I'm a woman and I believe that they thought I would go away by now and that they used cheap poor quality parts. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and looking into a small claims case. Don't take a chance on this place if you want quality reliable work done on your vehicle. You won't get it here!!
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
