AJ Dental
This is the first dentist I've been to in years, as I've been terrified of going to the dentist and also hadn't had health insurance since I reached adulthood. It was hard to find a dentist that would take my insurance (Medicaid) and I didn't have high expectations for an office that would.I was immediately impressed with this dental office. They have convenient parking behind the building (located in downtown Danbury where parking can be a pain) with spots designated for their patients. The office itself is not only extremely clean and modern, it's very nicely decorated.I was greeted with a smile by all staff members and felt comfortable and valued.Everyone was professional, communicative and very accommodating when I expressed my fear of dentists. Dr. Soprani is knowledgable, comforting and gentle. I had this idea in my head that I wouldn't be prioritized because of my insurance provider but that is just not the case. I am grateful to have found a dentist I trust!

This review has been a long time coming, but I'm just getting around to it! I've been a patient of Dr. Ratna for about a year, and I can't say enough great things about him and the rest of the staff at New England Dental. My first visit her was a routine check up and cleaning and established that a filling from a different dentist needed to be redone as it was causing me a lot of pain. They took me in that same day as the last appointment in which the dentist stayed extra time just for me.The office is full of integrity and honest staff members who don't push you to do any unnecessary procedures just to get more money. I completely trust the doctors in this office.I am very glad I found this dental office and I highly recommend it to everyone I know.

Dr. Jack L. Gish & Associates, P.C.
I cant believe the negative reviews...I love this office the front staff is very nice, my daughter is suppose to select one gift from the treasure chest and she always takes about four I tell her to put them back and they quickly tell her to take more if she'd like. I hate going to the dentist (in general) and I have switched dentist more than I care to mention but we've gone to them the for past six years and I plan on going for another six years!!

Weinstein Ivan K
Dr. Weinstein is a delight. I needed extensive dental work and therefore and been to dentists for root canal work and he is by far the best I have been to. For painless professional care I could not recommend him more highly. The insurance is sorted out immediately without any messing around with payments. I give him five stars.

The men talk disrespectfully to women if she (questionably) says something incorrect. The dental care is excellent! The staff are otherwise polite and pleasant. Excellent patient teaching. Relaxed atmosphere.

Everyone, from the staff up front to Dr. Gedeon, is excellent here. I knew I was in good hands for my surgery.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
