Precision General Contractors
We experienced a fire in the kitchen of our home this summer that caused major damage from the fire itself, as well as immense water damage from the efforts to put out the fire. We immediately contacted our insurance company, who made arrangements for us to stay at a hotel. We were referred to Precision General Contractors and we contacted them and arranged for them to visit the property and meet with us. They inspected the problem and spent hours analyzing every angle of the damage and the cost. They itemized everything into a very organized estimate showing all of the cost. We eventually retained them as our general contractor and they met with our adjuster when he visited the property. They worked diligently with the adjuster and they were on the same page regarding the steps needed to be taken to make the repairs and the costs involved. Every single aspect of everything affected was covered.Precision went about making the repairs almost immediately. Their crews were managed by one project manager who kept in close contact with us throughout the whole process. The crews arrived early every morning 6 days out of the week. It was extremely important to us that the repairs were handled quickly as we were in a hotel with our children while the repairs were made. They never let the job sit stale. We felt like they used every hour available to make the needed repairs. Very efficient! The end result was more than fantastic. Every single item was put back together brand new, many of which were actually upgraded to better quality. At the end of the day, the only thing out of our pocket was the deductible. We were in the hotel a total of 11 days. Before we moved back in, Precision even paid to have a professional maid service clean our home. It was like nothing had ever happened. We can’t say enough nice things about Precision General Contractors and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing a great contractor!

Lexington Luxury Builders
All of the homes we looked at that were built by Lexington Luxury Builders - I think they go by Lexington Companies - were truly exceptional. The attention to detail is extraordinary. We really appreciate the commitment which has been made by Scott Schaefer, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lexington Luxury Builders and Kyle McCollum the Chief Operating Officer, to environmental standards, green building and sustainable development. Lexington Luxury Builders, Scott Schaefer and Kyle McCollum really seem to care about quality, green building, the environment, sustainable development and the community, more than any other builder we've seen.Lexington Luxury Builders is building a neighborhood of luxury townhomes right now in Downtown Plano, in the Historic Heritage area of Plano, less than two blocks from the new DART light rail station. It's called Lexington Park at Rice Field and I think it's considered a transit oriented development, but this one seems different. It is built around a cool private park and the entire project is environmentally responsible and green built, which is very important to us. The City of Plano apparently picked Lexington to be their exclusive partner to build Lexington Park at Rice Field as a public/private partnership. We saw an on line article about the project. It is awesome, right by the DART station, and very affordable.

Natural Environments
Ron Zander has worked for me on numerous projects over the years and I know I can always count on him for a great outcome. He's an amazing landscape designer who owns and operates the landscape architectural company, Natural Environments. He always dreams up the most imaginative and cost effective solutions. He fixed the drainage on one of my properties that was prone to flooding and was always damp in the rainy season in 2007 and it's been great ever since! He recently created the plan and supervised the reconstruction of my pool and later re-did my entire back yard. This was a big project and he completed it in 6 weeks and on budget. In fact, I ended up able to get a beautiful stone covered spa that we never expected would fit.I felt strongly enough about my work with him that I wanted to post this and I highly recommend him!

A R S Service Express
We had an AC issue wherein our AC was not cooling and called around several A/C repairing companies . Some companies had charges upfront to even take a look at the issue and while ARS didn't charge us for that . They probably sent their best Technician Mr. Ying Chen along and this person found the issue within minutes and repaired the issues within no time and the charges were just within my expectations . This guy knows A/C stuff and even gave some tips how to keep the A/C running under good conditions for a while and also didn't rip me off with other associated charges like freon and condensor issue which were no there and generally other A?C repair services rip us off within charges that does not need to be repaired. Mr. Ying Chen of ARS has earned my trust and I will go with ARS all the time .

Woodbridge Home Exteriors Inc
I have an over 100 y old home. I came across this company and went ahead and order new windows to replace all the old ones. The windows are awesome. It has been over 7 y now with their windows and they look and feel as new. The never leaked, the insulation gas layer still intact, in one word, very good quality windows. I am reading the other people reviews and wonder what is going wrong with everybody. My sale guy was AWESOME, I was SO impressed with the way he did the deal. Now we purchased another home and they are on my calling list to order new windows and doors. So I don't really care of their methods to get into your home, but their products are very solid and good quality and the customer service very nice. Hope it helps to other that would read.

NIS Constructions Inc : General Contractors : Commercial Construction
We've hired NIS Construction Inc on a couple of occasions for exterior and interior paint as well as deck staining and have been very pleased with their work. So when it came time to have extensive exterior work done at my mother's home, we called their Dallas office. The evaluation and quote process was very professional and thorough, and they were able to begin work the following week. The crew were always on time (if not early) and worked long hours to get the job done quickly. The result of their hard work is a house that looks better than it has in years. Most importantly, the final bill was only slightly higher than the estimate, in spite of additional trim repair that was needed. We will definitely be using them again. Thanxs Dan

Northern Painting
Jim and his crew did an incredible job detailing and finishing the interior of my house in record time and with superb quality. Northern Paints is hard working and their work is above the rest. Northern Paints did not compromise quality with expensive. They were very affordable and cost conscious when they were providing me a quote. I am referring Jim and his crew to all of my Friends and Family. With quality and dedication I would vote Northern Paints as best painter in the Dallas Metroplex. Keep up the great work and you deserve lots more kudos for your work! Thank you

NIS Constructions Inc : General Contractors : Commercial Construction
NIS Commercial Construction built a 3,800 sf ground up building for me in Austin in 2015-16, according to plans I had pre-approved with City. NIS Commercial Construction had a thorough bid process. I'd highly recommend Rick and Dan, General Contractors, for helping the project stay (mostly) on budget. When the city ordinances required extra expenditure, Dan personally handled every situation with great aplomb and saved both money and the project itself. Rick helped me save money on fixtures and lighting; her taste and thorough research made things look great.

Accent Gallery & Framing
The best customer service experience I have EVER had. Morteza is the most professional and down-to-earth man that you will ever met. He runs the business entirely by himself with no hired hands & it does NOT show. I dropped off a canvas to be framed on a Tuesday, and by Thursday, it was done. I had doubts about the quality, but after I saw the framed canvas and saw the high quality of the wood (not cardboard like Hobby Lobby and Michael's uses) frame, I was in shock. Extremely reasonably priced. He will be getting my business from now on.

Green Scene Home Inspections
Clayton Bailey from Green Scene did just do an inspection for us. He took double the time than other inspectors I have worked with and is extremely thorough. I did not meet him in person, but my husband did and finds Clayton to be a very likable, friendly, polite and humorous person, easy to deal with. The seller of the property was impressed by the thoroughness of the inspection. We received the written report the next morning right away. Prices are also decent. 0 complaints, all thumbs up from these clients! Thank you so much!
Tips & Advices
If there is ever a dispute regarding payment over the course of the project, a contractor or subcontractor could place a payment claim, or lien, on your property. To avoid this, ask the contractor to sign a lien release, which is a legal agreement that states that any payment accepted is final. This can come in handy if a contractor has his or her own payment issues with their subcontractors. Signing a lien release form certifies that any payment made by a client to the contractor is enough to pay for any goods or services rendered.
Absolutely ask. Paying too much up front offers the homeowner minimal leverage if the quality of work does not meet expectations or contractual specifications. Try to establish a reasonable pay schedule, such as paying 10 percent of the total cost for each 10 percent of the work that is completed. Include this payment plan in the contract, as well.
Before any money changes hands, there should be a contract to sign. Make sure the specifics of the work and all costs are listed in the contract, including details. If you forget to have something included in the contract after signing it, there's rarely a chance of recourse.
Ask the contractor for proof of their certification before signing anything, as well as their proof of insurance. You should also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if they offer coverage for contracted work. You may want to call your insurance provider and ask for more details on what your plan will and won't cover.
Yes. Plans for how the work site will be cleaned at the end of each day as well as at the conclusion of work need to be put in writing. An experienced general contractor should make every effort to keep the workspace clean and prevent dirtying or damaging any other area. Even so, talk with the contractor about the daily schedule, the logistics of transporting workers and equipment, and how cleanup will be handled.

Just a moment...
