YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Theatres in Dallas, TX
1.Pocket Sandwich Theatre
5400 E Mockingbird Ln

For and old theater , it had a wonderful art deco aura about it and the seating was great with cocktail tables and long bars to set your drinks and food on. The concert i saw was Brandi Carlile and it was sold out. Best to get there at least an hour early and park in the Granada parking lot to avoid walking a distance. The staff was very helpful in taking you to your assigned seats and were very courteous. Nice and cool air conditioned seating area and very well policed. A great sound system and. I WILL attend many more concerts there and recommend it to any music lover

I recently went with my college aged daughter to see Endgame at Undermain Theatre and I really enjoyed it. I've never been to deep ellum before, i was always told it wasnt the best of neighborhoods. But we really had a nice evening. We went for dinner before the show but when we got there we had a glass of wine and looked at posters from past shows, now i had never heard of them before but they've been around for a while i guess. The show was fabulously acted and i cant wait to see what play they do next!

I really like this place and hope business is brisk enough to sustain it. It's older but kept up very well, clean and refurbished without losing the retro charm. The staff has always been pleasant, the popcorn and drinks fresh and.....those wonderful Lazy boy recliners and top sound system. A lot of the clientele is probably older than average, baby boomers like me. It is a nice alternative to other first run theaters like AMC 30 in Mesquite, which have all the movies but are a not the atmosphere and comfort I like.

Great place to watch a movie, as the theatre is still very new, clean, and nice. My wife and I go there all the time, and the crowds aren't too big either, even on weekends.
17.Angelika Film Center Dallas
5321 E Mockingbird Ln
This is an excellent theatre for people who enjoy thoughtful and well-made movies. Although it does not have the grunge atmosphere of your typical arthouse movie theatre, and the clientel tend to fall into the rich student/yuppy categories, the new facilities and the pleasant architecture make this theatre a worthwhile experience. I feel comfortable turning up at this theatre without knowing what will be playing. Oh yeah.. and they let you take your beer (sans glass bottle) into the theatre. About time.

Pegasus Theatre is best known for their productions presented in "Living Black And White"TM, where the actors on stage appear to be in a black and white film. Audiences are amazed by the technical skill that the company combines with extremely entertaining murder-mystery comedies. Author and star Kurt Kleinmann has been writing and performing with Pegasus Theatre since the company was founded in October of 1985 as part of the "first wave" of artistic renaissance that has occurred in Deep Ellum ( an area of Dallas, Texas ) in recent years. Pegasus Theatre has received excellent notices for their previous "Black and White" outings; The Dallas Morning News praised the company's "Precise stagecraft, acting, writing and direction" as well as their "seamless energy and grace". In January of 2001, the Fort-Worth Telegram wrote that Pegasus Theatre presented "a droll and spicy stewHappily, Harry Hunsacker is back on the case!" Now they bring their special brand of stage magic to New York for a limited engagement this holiday season.
