U T Southwestern
Well, my mother received a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) from this hospital. Mind you, the right side of her heart is the worst. So they placed the pump. She stayed there about 3 to 4 more months after surgery. Then they decide to throw her in a nursing home where they know nothing about LVAD patients. Instead of doctors at UT doing their research as doctors, they were more hung up on my mothers emotional distress, and mental issues. These are doctors, aren't they supposed to research?? I just feel like they placed this pump in my mothers heart, then said ok we're done, bye! Oh, your mother can't get up, or walk, well we'll just throw her in a nursing home and just forget about this patient. Maybe this patient was too complex for doctors to deal with. I asked them several times, should I take her to Baylor heart? They simply said that Baylor would not accept my mother because UT put the pump in. So now I'm like well, who will be willing to help? If something happens to my mother, UT ST. Paul hospital would be the blame because they didn't event have the decency or professionalism to check on a patient with mental disabilities. Oh yea, they had a Nurse practitioner covering the case. That's like sending the weather man to give breaking news. These people have made my family's life HELL. Think they give a crap. Heck no!!

Awesome Kids Childcare Center
This daycare facility is one of the best I have ever taken my children to; especially NOW that they are under new management! Mr. Alex and his team are the very best I have ever seen here in Texas. My children are actually learning, and not just sitting in front of a tv eating god knows what. Here they are served homemade nutritional foods. The best part about it is Mr. Alex and his team makes my children feel as though they are part of the family, and not just a random child. Not only are they affordable but they work with many government forms of payment as well, because God knows this economy is horrible! Mr. Alex and his team are truly a blessing to the community, I am very happy to have found them. I definitely will bring my all of my future babies here; the one's in the womb are already enrolled, also this is one of the safest daycares Dallas has to offer. Thank you Mr. Alex and team! You guys rock!

Lifecare Hospitals-North TX L
The hospital is very clean. The nurses and doctors were wonderful. My Mom was very sick and we were so scared that she wasn't going to make it. The wonderful staff there made us feel very comfortable and at ease. We stayed with Mom for the first several days and met many wonderful people. After that we knew she was getting the best care. We even met the CEO. He was always visiting with famalies, other patients, and his staff. I have never seen a CEO of a hospital doing any of that. The doctor we had saw us every day. He took the time to answer all of our questions. He was truly a God send. This is the best hospital I have ever been in.

God's Lil Angels 24 Hour Day Care
This daycare is awesome i dont understand why the negativity But what i can say is that i drop my own kids off and i pick them up at reasonable time 24 hour daycare is a term that is being taken advantage of by parents who weren't ready to have kids in the firstplace. Now children are fed but if you sent them starving from the get go well..... ill let you interpret my silence. My kids have been attending for a year already with no problems we receive monthly calenders to alert us of holidays. Then again holidays are alerted on there own wouldn't you say. Thumbs up to this daycare

Walnut Hill Medical Center
This was my first time for Walnut Hill. I thought it was the best experience I had at a Hospital. Dr Darryl Kawalsky is my Doctor and he is the best Cardiologist. If you need a stent or more, Dr Steven Meyer is a good choice. He seems to be able to do things that other Interventionist can't do. Hands down, the hospital we would go to. Great staff, equipment, food was fine. This is something I found nice, the bed was actually good. The last hospital I was in, had beds like sleeping on the floor.

Little Texans Academy
Both of my daughter's attend Little Texans Academy. One is 4 and the other 6 months. I was really scared to leave my baby with anyone, but they are very sweet and trustworthy. My baby loves her teachers. She smiles all day. My 4 year old is Rady to learn. She has made plenty of friends. She is always making something that pertains to learning. The staff is wonderful. They always speak, they know your child by name, and are not so aggressive about payments. They genuinely love kids.

Nannies On Wheels
This company is very dependable, especially since we had needed a nanny at the very last minute and couldn't find a babysitter. My husband and I are very pleased with how prompted they responded to us, and most of all our kids love their new nanny!! We have decided to continue doing business with this company, and we have also suggested their services to our friends and family members. This company is the greatest by far, and most of all they are very professional.Jennifer M.

Metta Oriental Medicine PC
I feel like everyone I know could use a treatment at this clinic. They truly care about their patients' health and have an effective way of diagnosing your problem. They provide not just a band aid to ailments, but get to the root cause and fix it - holistically - without prescription after prescription of never-ending pharmaceutical drugs. Jessie Lin and Emily Guevara are truly incredible and are changing lives every singe day.

Tips & Advices
Academic medical centers provide the widest range of specialty care treatments, including the latest technological advances, clinical trials, and surgical techniques. In general, an academic medical center is a better choice than a community hospital for complicated treatments or rare diseases. Pediatric intensive care, especially, is usually performed at academic medical centers.
Academic medical centers offer a broad range of specialized services, from allergists to urologists. Some of the larger medical centers have entire hospitals or clinics focused on a particular medical service, such as cancer treatment, though specialties vary among the centers. Patients whose community hospital or local doctors do not have the facilities or expertise to address complex medical conditions can be referred by their primary care physician or local specialist to a major medical center (there are more than a dozen in the United States).
Yes. In addition to their inpatient hospital services, medical centers can offer a wide variety of outpatient services, such as pain clinics, rehabilitation centers, surgery, imaging and laboratory, mental health treatment, and outpatient cancer treatment. Medical groups – doctors in private practice but affiliated with the medical center--will also have offices within the medical center.
Physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, residents, and attending physicians makeup the clinical staff of an academic medical center.
Medical center accreditation is not required, but most centers work voluntarily toward accreditation because it represents higher standards of healthcare quality and patient safety.
