Captain D's Seafood Kitchen
First time we tried Captain D's, I couldn't believe how much money and time I'd wasted at the more well-known LngJohnSlvrs all those years. Cpt.D's food is far superior and a bit cheaper than LJS. Their basic fried fish is divine; has a wonderfully crisp, non-greasy crust and the pieces are sizable. I adore their hush puppies whereas those from the 'Other Place' would usually just go into my dog's bowl. I was somewhat disappointed by their gumbo, but that's really not a fast food dish, so one can't expect too much. Also, they offer like a dozen different sides including (*never thought I'd say this) Green Beans that are fabulous. My personal favorite is the Coconut Shrimp! OMG, this shrimp is so unusual, so delicious and so addictive that it should be listed as a Controlled substance. Sorry LJohn, but the Captain seriously outranks you and you've been demoted!

The Wok Chinese Restaurant
I was afraid to try this place after reading the other reviews, but 2 of my coworkers said they tried Wok and liked it, so we ordered 4 lunches. It took them an hour and a half to deliver our food, so our lunch break was almost over when it arrived. The food tasted like every-day average cheap Chinese food. Not super great, but not bad. I would have been happier with Panda Express, but lucky for "Wok," Panda Express doesn't deliver. (Of course, in the amount of time it took them to deliver, we could have driven to Fort Worth and back.) The day Panda Express starts delivering is the day most of these cheap mom and pop Chinese places go out of business.

Liberty Burgers Davis
I ordered the house Liberty Burger (with bacon of course), a side of sweet potato fries, and an adult shake (yes, that's a thing here). The burger, cooked medium as I asked, was very juicy and delicious: they nailed the sweet fries too, not over fried and not overly crispy. The adult shake, The Lebowski, was a delicious Kaluha infused milk shake that was very tasty. Wish the straw was wider as I think I pulled a muscle trying to use their teeny tiny straw to drink it.Place is noisy: loud music with no attempt at controlling unnecessary loudness in general: staff are friendly and it was otherwise enjoyable to dine in.

Chipotle Mexican Grill
It's still far food and tastes like it: but if fast food is your thing and you like to feel good about the fantasy of a big production outlet sourcing food ethically I can see why people flock here thinking it's an upgrade.I find their burritos tiresome: bowls are better, salads do the best at not masking what you're eating. The Barbacoa was decent, in a mass produced neutral-flavored average sort of way. Size of the salad was what your dietician would approve as a good portion.Overall, meh, not for me. And how on earth did they get a city permit with this pathetic parking lot? You can't walk here from anywhere.

Mei Mei China Restaurant
I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! They have an enormous buffet with lots of yummy choices that is really quite a deal, especially at lunch. They also have a menu, but I have never used it. I have seen raw oysters in the shell in the evening in the buffet, and they always have cold shrimp in the shell. My absolute favorite is the wonton soup. Recently, being ill with a very bad cold or flu, I went there just to get the soup and was just desolate when it turned out I was too late. They allow one to do take-out with the buffet and also the soup (and, I assume, anything else).

Chef Chu Fine Chinese Food
Best I've ever had. Bar none. Ordered Kung Pow Beef & Combination Fried Rice. Delivered HOT like right out the pan hot. Egg rolls crispy and juicy. Sweet/Sour sauce flavorful and thick. Rice, meat, vegetables, all cooked perfectly and moist. Rice was cooked well and not sticky. Not stingy on the meat, shrimp, pork or chicken in either dish.I'm not an Internet kind of guy, but I figured I'd do all of us working folks a favor and post this review because this food was GOOD !

Not sure way, but all Subway shops are the the same. I'm not sure why but this location just seems fresher. Jim the daytime manager always has something nice to say to the folks in the line. He can exchange pleasantries while never dropping a beat in making the sandwitches. It seems Jim never has a bad day. I think Jim is the secret ingredient to the success of this place. Keep up the GREAT work kid.

A Wok
It is only a very small, takeout place, but the food is absolutely wonderful. A-Wok prepares everything *fresh* and so FAST and at prices that are amazingly cheap. His steamed dumplings are superb- they melt in your mouth. And A Wok makes some of the best Lo Mein in the city. The lemon chicken is so great, too. A-Wok has a big menu with lots of variety and I look forward to trying each and every dish.

A Wok
Gave the benefit of the doubt of this place. Was craving Chinese today and wanted Lo Mein. Went inside and the owner gave us good customer service. I can honestly say this is the best place to go to. The food was very delicious and mind you I couldn't even finish it all due to the amount of food they give you. Me and my partner is well satisfied and will be coming here more often. Thank you.
