Strempek Dental Arts
Dr. Strempek is the nicest Dentist I have ever met! She is so caring with her staff and patients. I work with her a few times a month and would have my entire family come to her. (I'm a dental hygienist and I work with several Dentists and I have not written a review before but I sincerely love SDA!) I enjoy my time at SDA, everyone is very friendly and understanding and that is the atmosphere at the office. They do whatever they can to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. Leah- at the front is wonderful so sweet and caring and will make sure you feel very welcomed. You will feel like a part of the family when coming here, personal is exactly what Dr. Strempek is all about. That and a gentle staff that can put you at ease. Dr. Strempek will treat you like a caring individual and will pay attention to your wants and needs specifically to what you want and need and she will remember you by name along with your entire family. Dr. Strempek is the best of the best in Dentistry. Don't be surprised if you soon you have to wait to get in to see her, she is a hidden secret and 90% of her patients are just straight referrals from patients that had a fabulous dental experience or an amazing new smile makeover that everyone dreams of having, people will drive hours and hours to see her. I met some plastic surgeons recently that all go to Dr. Strempek as well. She is just a wonderful person who is talented, humble and cares about her patients so I just had to write a review and express my happiness with SDA.

Strempek Dental Arts
Dr. Strempek and her team are amazing! They are friendly and fun, yet extremely professional and top notch when it comes to the latest in dental techniques and technology. I have been a frequent visitor to dentists all of my life, but I have never felt so comfortable and confident in a team as I do with SDA. The office is beautifully decorated and is quiet and serene making it more like a spa than a dentists office. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a warm smile from Leah and offered water and warm neck wraps. Whether you are there for a routine exam or a major procedure (of which I've had many), Stevie (the dental hygienist) and Dr. Strempek make you feel very comfortable by clearly explaining everything they are going to do. Dr. Strempek is very thoughtful about major procedures and will always give you options when it comes to your care and make it a point to do what's best in order to meet your needs. I cannot say enough good things about SDA and I will continue to recommend them time and time again. Not only do they care about you as a patient, they care about you as a person and I couldn't ask for anything better!

Wheatland Dental Care
Every time I go to Wheatland Dental Care, I am amazed by their professionalism and friendliness!!! The staff always cares about giving me great service and my kids look forward to getting their teeth cleaned, too! (They get toothbrushes and floss and get to eat popcorn and watch movies in the movie area!)Dr. Sugg cares so much about me and taking time to explain areas of infection and what to do for preventive maintenance! He will point out pictures and gives me handouts that have diagrams to better explain what is going on in my mouth! Whenever I go in for dental work, I am always offered a blanket and radio by one of his wonderful and experienced dental assistants! Those rooms can get cold! The dental chairs have massagers and heaters though! I've been coming here for years and recommend it to any of my friends looking for a dentist! You should try it out! They're the nicest people and they really care about getting your mouth healthy and keeping you comfortable while they're at it!

Wheatland Dental Care
When I went to Wheatland Dental Care, little did I know they could help me with headaches and joint pain. I have had headaches on a weekly basis for years and really just learned to cope with it, thinking that it was normal and regularly taking Ibuprofen. : (My sister recently urged me to get it checked out. Dr. Sugg's office has a machine called a VGI that is the first in Texas! They used it to scan my airway and found that I wasn't getting enough oxygen! They made me an appliance that helped me breathe better, and now I have more energy and less headaches. I've been doing better in school because of it and everyone else has noticed an improvement in my mood because I'm sleeping better and not hurting like I was.I really owe so much to this office and want to find some way to let them know what they have done for me and my family!!!

Wheatland Dental Care
I am the world's fastest reader, and have a degree i Biology. Dr. Sugg is the most knowledgeable dentist I've ever met. His skills are without equal. I am a swimmer and it resulted in my getting a sinus infection that bore a hole through the roof of my mouth into the roots of two teeth the size of my thumb. Dr. Sugg is the only dentist I would trust to perform this major surgery which also required a bone graft. It was painless and professional. If you looking for a dentist who cares about his patients and offers a full line of dental services without equal, I recommend you go to Dr. Sugg. I live in McKinney TX and drive almost 40 miles to see him. There are thousands of dentists closer to my home, but I know none of them can offer the professional care that Dr. Sugg offers.

Wheatland Dental Care
I have been with Dr. Sugg for over ten years and have always received exemplary service. He has done numerous root canals and crowns over the years and I always received personal attention by Dr. Sugg and his staff. I always receive a follow-up call after a major procedure to make sure I'm doing OK and the staff has always made sure I had my needs met. I've stayed with Dr. Sugg even though I moved to Frisco and travel 50 miles for my appointments. It's worth it. I have met many people who travel from out of state for Dr. Sugg. I have several dentists as clients in my business and many of them know Dr. Sugg by reputation, several have attended seminars where he spoke, and have shared that Dr. Sugg is an innovator in the dental profession.

Woodhill Dental Specialties
We can't say enough good things about Dr. Hedrick and his team at Woodhill Dental Specialties! We have experienced a range of dental issues under his care from my 3 year old knocking her front 3 teeth out to my 8 year old needing some serious work done after having poor care elsewhere...and Dr. Hedrick & his team did a fantastic job with it all! He treats each of his patients like he would his own grandchildren, puts the parents at ease, keeps his office light and fun...there is nowhere else we will EVER go for our children's dental care! My kids can't wait to go to the dentist! Plus the waiting room is fun for kids and adults! :)

Lee, H M, DDS
I have an appointment next Monday. I got a call from them two weeks prior to the appt. asking me if I wanted to re-schedule to an earlier time because someone cancelled appt. and they were hoping I could fill in, I said I am going to stick to my original appt.I got an confirmation call from the office this Monday, then a confirmation text msg on Friday, then a confirmation call again later Friday. I feel like they are worried about some patients cancelling appointments so they keep calling/texting patients without worrying about annoying patients. This is very disrespectable and unprofessional. This will be my last time going there.

Bourland, Campbell, DDS
Dr. Bourland is a caring and compassionate medical professional. He will provide you with treatment options, give an honest professional opinion of the best treatment for your optimal outcome, and diligently work to provide you with the best care. He doesn't take shortcuts and charges reasonably for the excellent service. Dr. Bourland genuinely cares about his patients and has a wonderful "bedside" manner. HIs staff, Linda, Natalie and Ashtyn are just as wonderful. Dr. Bourland is what you look for in a doctor and the type of friend everyone wants in their life. We need more doctors like him!

Jefferson Dental Clinics
I couldn't of been happier with my visit today because I got everything I wanted to get done but a lot sooner than I feel it would've taken at another dentist. I'm used to whoevers helping me leaving for a while at a time and leaving me alone to think about how bad I've been treating my teeth but Priscila who was helping me today didn't leave my side til I was out of he door. The x-rays I took today surprised me that they weren't so big and sharp in my mouth as I've had to deal with before and it made the visit a lot better than if I would've had cuts or rubs in my mouth. 10/10 would recommend
Tips & Advices
  • Pick Your Plan: Most people purchase three main varieties, usually through their employers.
    • An indemnity or fee-for-service plan means you'll have to pay for annual deductibles and co-insurance payments out of pocket.
    • A preferred provider organization is less costly, and you choose from a network of dentists. However, PPOs have some limitations and accompanying deductibles.
    • A dental health maintenance organization plan limits you to just a few choices of dentists, and one doctor handles all of your oral care needs. However, these HMO are usually much less costly.
  • PPO plans and dental HMOs work with only a select number of doctors. While that usually means fewer costs, it also means you have less choice in the dentist who can treat you Before purchasing the plan, you'll receive a list of dentists in each network. From there, you can then pick a plan with doctors who meet your standards and requirements.
  • When picking a plan, you need to look at just how much you'll pay for each and every service. For instance, some plans won't cover your fillings or X-rays, while others may charge more or less for a crown or tooth extraction. You don't want to be caught off-guard by unforeseen charges.
  • If you're truly comfortable with a dentist and you feel he or she can be an ally in your ongoing oral care regimen, then consider signing a plan to just keep that dentist available. That means potentially deal with costs and other insurance-related factors that you might have wanted to. If need be, you might be able to work with the dentist's office to address some of the plan-specific concerns.
  • Ask family, friends or colleagues for recommendations. They will be able to provide details about a dentist's demeanor, operating style and approach to patient care
  • Meet with any prospective dentists to ask about what treatments they perform most often, procedures they're not as familiar with, what accreditation they have or any organizations they belong to and how their offices handles insurance and payments.
  • Consider driving distance, location and office hours.
  • Check With Your State Board: The state board can outline what requirements your dentist must meet and offer information about any discrepancies in the their background and if he or she has faced any disciplinary actions.
  • Remember Your Angles - When brushing your teeth, always place the brush at a 45-degree angle..
  • Don't Forget the Tongue – Your tongue is the largest source of bacteria. Brush it front to back and don't forget the sides.
  • Floss Everyday - Each time you floss, have at least 18 inches of floss available. For optimal control, hold the floss between your thumbs and forefingers.
  • Watch What You Eat - Sugar, alcohol and coffee contain phosphorus. While some can prove beneficial, too much of this chemical can eat away at your teeth and gums.
  • Keep in Mind the Mouthwash - Mouthwash can be helpful if used to supplement proper brushing and flossing. Most mouthwash brands contain chlorine dioxide, a chemical that targets the majority of oral bacterial strains.
Yellow teeth are the result of a number of bad habits, mainly smoking, drinking too much coffee and improper nutrition. Many dentists will treat with a whitening procedure.
These painful bumps are the result of irritation to the soft tissue of your mouth. These sores can make brushing almost impossible. There are a number of different causes for sores, including anemia or a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Your doctor will have to examine the bump, find its cause and then develop a specific treatment plan, including the use of corticosteroids to reduce inflammation or antimicrobial mouthwash.
