My friend and I wanted to go somewhere new and to a place that was different. All Good Cafe has a very different atmosphere that is eclectic and welcoming. It was avert busy Sunday brunch time but we were seated within 15 minutes. One thing I noticed while waiting to be seated was that many tables were open but there were not enough employees to seat people or clean up tables after a customer left. I order chips/salsa and the migas for my meal. The migas were delivered first, not the chips/salsa which I would expect. The waitress told me she forgot to put in the chips/salsa and apologized. A minute or so later someone else brought me the chips/salsa and he told me I would not have to pay for them and apologized for the mistake. My actual meal was DELICIOUS...the migas were cooked right and the potatoes were amazing. I think they were short staffed on this day, otherwise they would have had better service. I would definitely go back again.
Beautiful and Cozy... This is not a place that will rush to make incredible food... You can tell that everything is scratch made... Yes, everything... If you are looking for quality service, incredible food and an intimate time with friends and family, then I highly recommend this place. My wife is still talking about how great my entree was... Southern Style Shrimp En Croute (shrimp in Herb butter wrapped in scratch made pastry). If I was in Death Row, this would be one if the items on my platter. Yes, I'm a Foodie!I saw the previous review and I wanted to say that on the menus it stats... That if you leave the tip section open on the credit card receipt, it will add 20%... Why write a bad review, because you didn't see it posted and/or didn't want to tip someone... Own it... Write in $0, if that's what you want or tell them what they did wrong...
Dee Lincoln mentioned her cajun background, which may explain why the Crispy Oysters were the star of my dining experience along with the Bananas Foster Crumble. I’m impressed with the breading and comfort feeling after taking a bite of the oysters, and the sweetness of the bananas foster transported me to a New Orleans cafe. These items left me wanting more. I think the real lesson here is that if you eat here, the Cajun items are the way to go.Also, the Sushi Pizza intrigued me. The creamy sauce spiked with Sriracha and lots and lots of wasabi tobiko (flying fish roe flavored with Japanese horseradish) onto ahi tuna and tempura rice crust to pull it together. It’s a great starter or snack to enjoy while you dine here.
Excellent fried chicken which is far superior to the big-name places. They also have tons of things which aren't on the online menu like sandwiches, catfish, fried livers & *corn fritters* which are 2die4 good! BIG portions of side orders like spicy rice (yummy!), fries & mashed potatoes. The only downside is they're often busy and it's not uncommon to wait, but their food is well worth any minimal delay. Actually, I was stunned to see they'd received two such low ratings here, so 4 stars from me is probably more realistic. Still, we've eaten at Williams 10-15 times and barring the occasional wait, I cannot recall EVER being disappointed with the food.
For those that think breakfast is easy and that a chef could not make much of a difference, come try crossroads diner. Tom Fleming (yes, the Tom Fleming famous chef that has ran numerous extravagant resteraunts all over the world) has decided to open a breakfast and lunch-only restauraunt so he can have quality time with his family, and the dishes he serves are wonderful, affordable, and have every bit as much of Tom's talent thrown into these meals as he had when he was running some of the best resteraunts in the country. The pancakes are the best in the world, the eggs benedict is to die for, and everything else is excellent too. You have to try this.
This is AMAZING!!! The food was out of this world. We tried the greek combo which was just great. If you want to really stimulate your palette this is the way to go. The mousaka was the hit on the plate. My husband and I agreed they much just have a jar labeled "AWESOME" for the seasoning on the scampi. There's no other way to describe it. The kabob was amazing as well. If they have it when you go, get the NAVY BEAN SOUP. It will change your life. The atmosphere, service, food...all A++++ top notch. Will probably be going there for lunch tomorrow. Go there now. Don't hesitate. Stop looking. You've found the place to go.
First of all Liu's is a Chinese Restaurant, they do not specialize in 'BBQ ribs and Chicken where chicken 'grizzle' would be present. My significant other and I decided to try them today and WHAT A Treat! We liked the food so much we decided to find a "Review Website" and rate them.Maybe just be mindful that english is not their first language. The lady was friendly and diligent so she made it easy to order. The food was well made, Very tasty and better than some of the more expensive Chinese Restaurants we frequent. And, for us, it was take out. It was our first and NOT our last time ordering with Liu's Restaurant!
it's just a fun entertaining place for kids. The foods are just ok. Edible however nothing to brag about. I had bakckened catfish with vegetable..it was salty and greasy. the fried catfish for my mother in law was a big giant mound of mashed potato with 2 over breaded fish.. the kids had chicken finger and shrimp popcorn which they did not to mind at all. the salad car were just a big bolwI of mixed greens mostly romaine lettuce a little variety of other veggies like broccoli, mushroom, beets and few others and couples soup to choose from. I think if it's not for the kids we won't be choosing that place.
As previously stated, CRAZY OVER PRICED. The burgers are decent, ambiance good, service is about as expected. My girlfriend ordered a salad and it was basically a head of romaine with the core lopped off and place on a plate with a little dressing poured on it. Hardly worth $8!! I had the " Coyote" burger and it was pretty good! Not $12 good but good none the less. It was pretty spicy but, that's what I like. They could put more steak fries on the order tho. When all is said and done, it's a cash machine and he owns it and people go there to experience it and you get what you pay for.
we stopped in today for lunch I myself had the chicken teriyaki, my husband had the red chili shimp, our son had the kids pizza. my husband said his diah was great it was like a party in his mouth flavors just bursting in every bite the shrimp was comes perfectly. My chicken rice bowl was so good the chicken vegetables and brown rice were full of flavor it all seems to go well together or son loved his pizza. now the kicker to this is everything is good for you and gets you full keeps you full. not bad on pricing very friendly staff so glad true food finally made it to texas.
