North Pride Trucking
The owner of North Pride Trucking Jose Villarreal hit my son today and took off from the scene, luckily my son wasn't hurt, and was able to follow Jose to his place of delivery off 46th and Tejon. Neither Jose nor my son was ticketed since there were not witnesses. What infuriates me is that Jose didn't have the human decency to stop and see if my son was injured. I would encourage anyone doing business with North Pride Trucking to cease from doing so, his actions today proves lack of character! There are a number of other trucking companies that may be used. Sincerely,A concerned Mother!

Cowboy Trucking
Don't use this company! Not for anything! Don't work for them, because they only have trash equipment! Because actually you all give damn 5 to 7 hours a week free. You only get paid but the work that you give at the job site. Sorry company! Had to drive a truck all day it wouldn't even pass inspection, had to breathe exhaust all day and on the way home exhaust so picking the truck I had to stick my head out the window. Don't work for this company!

Pishon Trucking
**BEWARE** The owner is a well known scammer. Most of his business are banned from the state of Georgia and the City of Dallas due to several lawsuits and shoddy deals. He moved to Texas after being banned from Georgia. Make sure you have everything in writing and have him sign it if you do business with him.

If you wanna work for a untrustworthy man named Kane Overfield than this is the place for you... he'll rip you off, charge you to drive his truck he'll also underpaid...I'll advise anyone who decides to work him to take pictures of everything... or he will make false accusations and charge you damaged equipment...please be smart and do not work for this company.

Thrifty Freight Service Transport
I needed to ship my car to Houston from Dallas. I contacted Thrifty Transport to ship my car to Houston. Alyssa was as good as it gets. She scheduled my car for pickup by their truck and my car was delivered to my home the next day. Just so easy and stress free. I highly recommend Thrifty Transport.

Here is how SMT treats their customers. They quote a rate, deliver the goods, you pay the bill on the spot and when it turns out the quote was higher they re-bill you and put you automatically in collections for their error....perfect!

Tips & Advices
Although special insurance isn’t always legally required for a moving truck, all auto insurance providers and moving specialists suggest you buy the special policy from the moving truck company. This is because most auto insurance policies have exclusions for covering vans and trucks over a certain size, and also because auto insurance will not cover the personal property inside a moving truck.
In order to drive a rented moving truck, a person must be on the rental agreement. Just as with rental cars, getting another driver put on your rental truck agreement may carry an additional fee per day.
Moving truck rental cost does not include the fuel cost. Make sure to find out from the rental company if there is anything to know about the type of gas the truck requires, as well as the location of the gas tank.
The rules about moving trucks and weigh stations vary somewhat by state. Some states do not require trucks to stop if the occupants are doing a personal move, not commercial moves. Others require all commercial trucks to stop, regardless of what they’re calling. When in doubt, stop.
Yes, pets are allowed in some moving trucks. However, all moving companies clearly state that renters should not put pets in the cargo area, and that pets should be in a transport carrier or properly harnessed for everyone’s safety. Moving truck rental companies all have clearly posted pet transport safety tips that you should review before moving day.
