I have just personally tried this upscale downtown restaurant recently and highly recommend it! I think it’s among Dallas’ high-end restaurants, the Charlie Palmer restaurant is excellent—go check it out when you get the chance. You can find it inside the Joule Hotel across from the Iron Cactus south of the original Neiman Markus store on Main Street. I would say that by “celebrity chef standards,” Charlie Palmer does keep its flame burning red-hot due to their attention to detail in more than just the area of grub. And according to the feedback I hear from my friends, this place surpasses all expectations consistently! I told someone recently that it’s as serious as a migraine, only in a good way—yup, a very positive dining experience. Ya gotta try the lobster corndogs and man.. the dry-aged NY sirloin with bone marrow flan was a carnivore’s delight. I noticed that D Magazine rates this particular dry aged steak (BTW: they age them right there on the property..) thee very best steak in Dallas. My wife enjoyed the blue cheese crusted filet mignon. We both loved the Hen of the Woods, the Trumpet Royale and the Cremini Oxtail Ragout mushrooms! You can probably tell that I’m no high-brow snooty connoisseur or “foodie” per se, but I would call what the Charlie Palmer puts out, very straightforward Progressive American. And this superb cuisine that would please a real connoisseur is served with top notch professional service. Our wait help was very attentive, personable, and awake on more than one level. How does one pronounce the name of the hotel where it’s located? Basically, just like you would a precious “jewel” in English but the word comes from how electric power is measured—that’s why the décor deals with wind, turbines etc. Very fitting theme—fully energetic! —Kurt W. von Schleicher

Excellent Service!\r Very Comfortable!\r Excellent Valet!\r \r Again, service was amazing! Anytime we needed anything, guest services was there within 5-10 minutes!\r -As soon as we got into our room, one of my friends went to bathroom and the toilet started to back up. We called the desk and they sent maintenance up within 3 minutes!!! He was professional, polite and corrected the issued within 5 minutes. He checked out with us and wished us a comfortable stay.\r -We wanted to use the pull out sofa bed so we called guest services and within 10 minutes, housekeeping arrives with the linens, and did not just drop them off, he stayed and made the bed and wished us a nice stay. I will say that the friend who wound up on the sofa bed was not overly thrilled with her quality of sleep, but has anyone ever had a good night's sleep on one? The actual bed was DIVINE!\r -The on-site restaurant was exceptional!\r -Wine hour nightly and morning coffee bar are just extra perks at a hotel that cares about a guests' experience and comfort. \r

I have stayed in hotels around the country and have never found a more attentive and hospitable staff! The Omni Park West has quickly become one of my most favorite of all hotels...from the moment I drove up to the entry (the lobby is beautiful...especially in the evening!)...to the moment I left... Rooms are very comfortable...nice amentities throughout...wireless internet access a nice surprise...and free if you have your own wireless card!!...Dovers Grille food and wine list superb! Great excercise facility! Staff will drive you to the local shops, resturants, etc. Overall, and OUTSTANDING value!
1321 Commerce St
I was a little concerned after making reservations because of a few of the other reviews that I read. But I like to give the benefit of the doubt and am so delighted that we tried it anyway! Yes, it is an older hotel, if you know and understand that you will totally enjoy the stay! The facilities are VERY clean. The hotel employees went well beyond their means to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! The Walt Garrison grill was great as well as the Bistro's breakfast buffet!. Those were the only two places at the hotel that we had a chance to eat at! I feel pretty confident that the others are just as GREAT!! We definitely will be staying there again!

We had our Wedding held in Maple Manor last month. The coordinator, Monique and staff were very professional and met our every need. Our wedding ceremony was held in Maple Manor's courtyard, which by the way is breath-taking! The wedding party went great! Everything was very well planned , the wedding cake provided by the hotel was beautiful and the food served was exquisite. We rented all 6 rooms for the night and were very pleased that each room contained jacuzi tubs and were very well taken care of by the house-keeper.I had such an amazing experience and I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

17.Hilton Dallas/Park Cities
5954 Luther Ln
I came to the Hilton Dallas/Park Cities on a business trip and it was probably the best hotel I could have chosen.\r \r The rooms were spacious and clean and there were enough chairs and tables so it wasn?t a struggle for me to get my work done. They had high-speed wireless internet access and there were two speaker phones in the room too, which made it easier for me to talk to my clients. I could also surf the internet on the television.\r \r A business center was available downstairs. It was convenient for me to quickly make some copies and send some faxes before I went to my meeting.\r \r I would also highly recommend the OPIO Restaurant. The first night I ate at the OPIO I had something called the Truffled Lobster Corn Chowder, and from then on I tried to eat at there every night of my trip, I even brought some clients there too.\r \r

If you are looking for the best place for a romantic getaway-- this is it! Their service is top-notch and the suites are amazing. Suite number 2 is the most romantic room I have ever seen and I travel all the time (all the suites are great but this is my personal favorite). You will feel like you stepped into the French countryside. I had told them that I was in Europe when I was booking my suite and they asked me about my trip when I signed in. The staff calls everyone by name and does everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They even have a butler come in and light your fireplace. Oh, and the food is a must-have also! I highly recommend Hotel St. Germain!
2020 Greenville Ave
The Hotel Capri has ""hotel"" in their name but it reminds me more of a hotel bar than a hotel room . The bar is small and cozy like a boutique hotel bar with several small tables for more intimate gatherings. They've got some really cool light installations on the walls and a very dream-like art display of glass bubbles that hover over you. I haven't come for happy hour yet but I hear the food is top notch and super cheap. They also have late night food so you can party, drink, and not have to hurry out of the bar at 2.

I booked a great deal online. I found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful. The desk clerk actually helped me to my room with my bags. I watched the Dallas Cowboy Playoff Game in the hotel's Sport's Bar. I was very impressed at the service provided and will return to the hotel in the future.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels in dallas from ZaZa to the Anatole and i must say that this one is my fave . it offers convenient parking (i have never had trouble finding a spot) and it is even easier to get to if you are from out of town or like me and bad with directions. The feel of the place when you walk in is not too edgy but just mellow tranquil --- very posh . I was impressed with the fact that you are paying for a room , yet you are not paying for a parking spot, to use their computer room , etc. which some nearby hotels do. their rooms have very nice modern furniture and I liked how the bathrooms come with aveda bath products.. oo la la. ha.. The staff is courteous and whoever did the hiring definately carefully picked out each person and read beyond the words on the resume. All in all for price and value I always recommend the Ren. first. ----------- J ben arthur /
