Zuri Furniture
I was looking for upscale couch for my formal living space. When I bought the product it appeared to be with elegance look and feel. Sales guys were very good and sold the couch. Couch lost it's firmness and lather texture worn out in 1.5 year of standard use. I was surprised. I called for support, I had to call many times to get to the product support rep. I was told that it has only one year of warranty, and my extended protection plan would not cover since it is normal wear and tear. Please take a note here that product normal longevity is only 1.5 years. I want to let all buyers know that product durability is very low. I have had leather couches in the past of less than 1/2 the price and lasted for 6-7 years without any issue. I am shocked that 3.7k stuff (3 piece) life only 1.5 years?Bottom line - I will not recommend anyone buying the product. 1. Very low quality2. They will treat you like a stranger after 1 yearPros - Looks very goodCons - Be ready to change or repair in 1.5 years. Zuri Folks - You can fool me only once

Xoom Furniture
The staff is very friendly! The Manager Yvonne Perez was very helpful and accommodating. I saw this place after looking at other furniture stores and not finding anything that I really desired. When I walked in I immediately fell in love with a kitchen table that was in their showroom. I explained to Yvonne that I was new to the Dallas area and that my residence wouldn't be available until early July. She said no problem, that they could hold the table for me until I was ready to move in!!!Fast forward: I moved in my place in July and had my table delivered. It looked AWESOME in my dining room! However, upon delivery I did not notice the crack in one of the legs of the chair. It was a month later when it was noticed, to make a long story short I sent Yvonne a email with a pic of the chair, she sent the pic to her distributor, and they replaced the chair for me!!Awesome service! Will definitely go back!!!Dawn

American Furniture Mart Inc
This place I would say I had a love and hate experience! The experience buying furniture with this people wasn't pleasant at all. However the only reason i am giving it 3 stars is cuz they do have a big selection and unbeatable prices. With that you get horrible customer service as a package deal ! I have ordered a leather sofa bed from here which I am satisfied with the quality and style. The sofa was for a good price. However what I didn't understand is they charged me for delivery fee plus assembly fee! But I purchased a display item so I duno why I was charged an assembly fee when it was already been assembled in the store. all they did was bring it the same way without doing anything to the sofa just delivered!!! Which this been saif I don't think I would want to buy from them again though!

Kostas Cafe
This is AMAZING!!! The food was out of this world. We tried the greek combo which was just great. If you want to really stimulate your palette this is the way to go. The mousaka was the hit on the plate. My husband and I agreed they much just have a jar labeled "AWESOME" for the seasoning on the scampi. There's no other way to describe it. The kabob was amazing as well. If they have it when you go, get the NAVY BEAN SOUP. It will change your life. The atmosphere, service, food...all A++++ top notch. Will probably be going there for lunch tomorrow. Go there now. Don't hesitate. Stop looking. You've found the place to go.

Bella Furniture & Mattress
This was our 4th time visiting Bella Furniture and we are happy knowing we were greeted as soon as we stepped inside the store. Sure, they were inconsistent before but now it seems things are turning around for them. The prices are extremely competitive and customer service the past two times was outstanding. There was someone constantly cleaning and wiping down glass and furniture for the 30 minutes we were there. I found a great dining table and sofa set and even got everything on credit through Crest. We plan to pay it off as soon as we get our income tax next month so we don't have to pay the high interest.

Furniture 4 Less
I came across their website and was amazed by the huge selection of furniture they carry. I found a living room set that I really liked so I went to the store to place my order. I was greeted promptly when I entered the store and was asked if I needed help finding anything. I told them what I was looking for and the salesman walked me to the back where they had the exact set on display. All I have to say is wow! It looked even better in person than it did online! Delivery was very quick to my home. Overall awesome experience from start to finish at furniture 4 less!

Merge Works
We have a small workplace and we just can’t keep on adding more equipment to space. Considering the need for more furniture and the repercussions, we ordered a Highrise Height Adjustable Table from Merge Works. And, the product exceeded our expectations. First, the finishing and style of the table pleased me and then, its impeccable quality. More so, the staff is just great and helped us place the furniture properly besides just delivering the order on time. Thanks to Merge Works that we got an attractive piece for our office at the best price!

I love this location because it is close to entertainment, restaurants, public transportation. The store is well maintained and I have no problems finding quality vegetables, fruits, meats, etc. Where can you go and buy tilapia and get two free or pork and get one free. I'm from Atlanta and never saw any sales like this. They need to open up stores in Atlanta. If you want something to snack on they have the best wings by far. Standing in line is very much worth the wait especially when you are saving money. Love, Love, Love this store.

South Dallas Cafe
I love South Dallas Café!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food & people are great. The service is prompt and the restaurant is clean "always". I live in Oklahoma and every chance I get to go to Dallas I seek out South Dallas Café. Anyone that knows soul food, know you can't put a price on it. After I eat I have to stay overnight in a hotel and rest my stomach. The drive and price is worth it. Thank you South Dallas Café for the time, effort and love you put into preparing and serving so many varies of soul food. Deborah W.

Tom Thumb
This Tom Thumb is too small and has no room to expand. Management and staff are poorly trained although getting better since I moved here 12 years ago. Shelves are badly stocked, when shelves are straightened at night, one or two varieties are put across the front so that you have to move them and look behind to find what you need.Employees used to ask if you needed help but that only lasted about 6 months and now no one looks at you again. Poor training.
Tips & Advices
Interior designers can generally work on every type of room, but one should not assume that all of them can work on every type of space. More complicated projects--for example those in buildings with historic preservation strictures, or those that are going for sustainability certifications--will be suited to interior designers with specific expertise. Also, interior designers that have experience in a certain type of project may not want to take on projects that are outside their expertise. For example, an interior designer who has only worked on commercial projects may not want to do a small private home.
Every interior designer has their own style, but some designers are more versatile than others. Some really do specialize in functionality and code compliance, whereas others are more focused on aesthetics. Interior decorators are completely focused on visual impact, and therefore should be reviewed and selected based on how well their style is a match for the client’s tastes.
Full-service interior design starts with an assessment of a site and the client’s long-term needs for that space. It encompasses concept design, floor plans and lighting plans, providing project specifications to contractors, supervising  contractor negotiations and installations, applying for permits, and shopping for all the materials and pieces for the project. On top of this, there are the “decorator” deliverables, i.e. creating the aesthetic of the space, selecting wall colors/covers and furniture pieces, purchasing products and installing them.
An interior designer may come into a development project very early on, working with the developer and architect from the pre-construction phase. They may be the one to design floor plans, decide where to place interior walls, and supervise contractors that are installing elements of the build. They often work on commercial projects, although many of them work on residential projects. Interior designers can “switch hats” and do interior decoration, which means they are only focused on the aesthetic elements and visual components of a residence.
An interior designer or interior decorator should ask a potential client what the scope of the project is, what the projected budget is, what payment structure the client wants, and what the timeline for the project is. Also, they should be asking whether the client has any samples of other projects they like, and would like to use as a guideline. They could also ask what the client’s budget for furniture/accessories/art is, since that in many cases is a separate amount from the budget for the designer’s labor. If an interior designer is being interviewed early into a new build or a renovation project, they might ask questions to determine whether they can collaborate with architects and contractors from early on, to execute their vision for the space. If that is not in line with a client’s wishes, the client can then say that the project scope is for interior design only.
