YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The staff are extremely unprofessional. They do not have the proper materials, such as shampoo, conditioner, or basic stuff like hair bags (for the dryer), nor do they have containers to put hair products. They literally would dip their hands in a product, pass it to the stylist, then the stylist would spread it on the counter to use. My real frustration is how they are extremly harsh with black hair. They snatched out my daughters hair, my childs hair reached her waist when stretched, so her hair curls up on the end, when you let go. The stylist use a too small comb and literally yanked off 3 to 4 inches of hair, then had the audacity to tell me "you lose 100 strands a day." Yes, we do shred about a hundred strands a day, however, she literally yanked off my childs hair. I had to stop her and get her away from my child, just to save the hair she had left on her head. Smdh...You can't argue with ignorance, not just ignorance but a ghetto hotmess. Thats not it. On my natural hair I wanted a flat iron, but one lady striped and tangled my hair so bad with that cheap shampoo and conditioner. Then I found out they use this cheap gloss to coat that has no heat protector what so ever in it. I just decided rather than lose all my money I would let Desara (I think that her name) braid my hair. She was the only one with half a brain and real talent as far as I could tell. She even fixed another one of my daughters hair after another girl who started my daughters hair didn't finish because she had personal business to attend to. Not only did that lady leave my older daughter hair unfinished, she had it looking like crap, Overall this was my worst hair experience ever, and I will never go back their again. On a scale of one to ten this place is a negative one.

Dallas Barber college on Coit Rd. offers $5.00 haircuts. They aren't worth anything. The First time i went there I got a Hispanic guy to cut my hair and he did a great job. 23.Metroplex Beauty School

Beauty SchoolsColleges & UniversitiesIndustrial, Technical & Trade SchoolsBarber Schools
Okay where to begin... FIRST OF ALL, You get what you pay for. Yes they are 10,000 cheaper then other schools, but other schools teach u make-up, sew in hair extensions, and so on. Where as Metroplex does not. The teachers teach out of the book, and cannot even pronounce the words correctly. Then they are really unhelpful. Everyone that runs this school is related, and they do not care if you get the help you need or not. In fact, they will just tell you that you should just find another school. They will even give you names and locations to where other schools are. They are all unprofessional here. They are very unorganized, make up new rules all the time, and there is more drama between the teachers and students. The teachers also have their favorites. The faculty will treat you like crap. They teach professionalism, but are not even professional themselves. They will even get on the phone with your parents and call names. One of the teachers will always tell you, "Maybe you need to check yourself." Maybe it is the school, or maybe it is YOU! Or maybe it is lies. That is all I ever got from the faculty here. They lied to me, and my mother. What a waste of time. FIND ANOTHER SCHOOL!!
