Hello Dallas, I am the owner of A/C Today. The person making the 2 bad reviews is MIKE BARGER. Mike is a competitor who is NOT licensed by the State of Texas to operate a heating and air conditioning business in Dallas, TX or anywhere in Texas. Mike does NOT have a licensed and has been reported to TDLR , the investigator is Pedro whose phone number is :512-539-5629. I recently went out on a call that Mike's technician(Adam) had been dispatched to. Adam told the homeowner that he needed money so he could go buy the part and fix it. The homeowner said NO and paid him for his visit. Adam quoted $500 approx. to fix the issue. I was called and I was able to get the homeowner's problem fixed for $140. If you go to yahoo you will see the excellent review that was made regarding my company. You will also see another review made by Mike who rated my company highly. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mike Barger please call me or report it to Pedro at the number listed above. In addition, Mike is advertising under Midwest Mechanical; I called the license holder for Midwest who knew nothing of Mike Barger. They have now filed a complaint against Mike Barger regarding using their name. Phillip Sterling owner of A/C today of Dallas.

The really terrible part about the computer is any IDIOT WITHOUT A COMPANYINVOICE CAN WRITE SLANDEROUS LIES ABOUT A COMPANY. Some of thesesales people get mad you don't buy from them, possibly competitors do this. It needsto be prevented by YP by asking for someone to SCAN a copy of their "alleged"invoice. To injure Hard working Honest MEN is Criminal. This company has a personthat's affilitated with A&M Univ & does work for the Dallas Police that can come up the rope at LIARS, SLANDERER'S. That's what should be done.LEAVE PEOPLE ALONE, GET A JOB, GET A LIFE AND GROW UP!!!!This company hasn't been around over 50 years behaving badly. These 3 BADREVIEWS ARE ALL LIES AND NOT OUR CUSTOMERS!!!! The same nameshave slandered other AC Companies in Dallas too.YP.COM needs to protectall of us from this BALONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called Dalltex today based on the reviews I read on this site. What can I say but the reviews are 100% accurate. I was at work when I scheduled the appointment and asked if they could call me 30 minutes before they came out so i didn't have to leave work early. Hector called and let me know he would he was on his way. I made it home perfect timing. Hector was very polite and professional. He had to do a bit of searching for a replacement motor, but he found one. He quickly went and picked it up then installed it. I have heat again! I will recommend Dalltex to family and friends if they have hvac problems.

Humberto was very nice and had my ac unit working in no time. He showed me the work he was doing and explained it to me in easy to understand terms. Humberto also told me how I could improve my efficiency, and explained the price but then said, " but that's not what you need. You need this part (the actual motor) to get the unit running to cool your house down."He was more interested in fixing the problem with my ac and getting me back into a comfy cool house than ' trying to make a sale' when someone is in a vulnerable situation. Our air conditioner decided to go out with temperatures in the low 100's. We called Airtron around 7:00 pm on 8/2/11. They said they would send someone out that night for $120. Brandon showed up at 9:00 pm. He found the problem and had it fixed in around 10 minutes. Bad compacitor. Total bill, $308. Even charged me less for the service call. I would recommend them to anyone. I called around 15 companies and they were the only one that would come out the same night. Very impressed.

A Relax Service Heating & A/C
We decided to call Humberto after reading these reviews when our AC stopped cooling. He came out on a Saturday while it was raining and diagnosed our issue, a dead compressor. We had another company come out for a second opinion - they said our compressor was out of warranty when in fact it was under warranty and they were going to charge us three times what Humberto quoted us. Humberto is very prompt and professional, and we would use his services again.

I have been using Dalltex for a few years now and am extremely pleased with the work Hector has done for me. I have used many contractors over the 22 years I've been in my house and Dalltex is one of the best. Their quality work and fair pricing is great too. I have both conventional units and a heat pump. They have replaced outside units, coils, and annually serviced all my units. I have absolutely no complaints. I would recommend them to anyone.
