All Floors and More
My parents contacted all floors & More in Cypress to get hardwood floors put down in a new house. We had a pretty big order, we wanted wood floors in the entire house excluding the bathrooms and kitchen. For such a big job they finished it in a decent time, about 3 1/2 days. The floors itself look great, there were only about 2 problems, one: the corner being chipped in one board and the second, the wood was peeling off the top of another board. When we contacted them about this they were willing to come back and fix the problem. Now, there is a reason why I am only giving them two stars. After we contacted them about the problem they agreed to send their installer back out to fix it, one: he came completely un-announced. What would have happened if no one was home? Two: He was very unprofessional when he came to fix it, he was either intoxicated or under the influence of some drug or hung over. Three: Because I had no prior knowledge that he was going to come I hadn't tidied up the room and I had some things out, while he was supposed to be fixing a board in the room, he was caught fondling my bra that I left on a chair on the opposite side of the room. This chair was no where near the board that needed to be fixed. This is NOT okay. This is a huge violation. This individual made me feel violated in my own home. He had NO business looking around the room and he definitely had NO business touching a bra! My father emailed his manager that same day and the only response we got was: "I do apologize for my installer, thank you for the feedback." This is not acceptable to me, I believe that this individual cannot be trusted in another person's home. I just want to advise future customers to be aware and to be safe.

All Floors and More
We cannot say enough great things about All Floors & More in Cypress. Tonya was so helpful and patient during our wood laminate selection process. We had shopped several places before visiting AF&M, and ultimately bought here. Their prices turned out to be better than the larger, advertised retail stores, and the customer service was personal and a truly pleasant experience. The installation was on time, efficient, and done expertly, thanks to Shane and his crew. We will be returning to AF&M in Cypress for our upstairs carpeting needs, and also for kitchen countertops and backsplash for a kitchen remodel. We truly recommend All Floors & More for a competitive, professional, and personal home improvement experience.Ellen J. Cypress TX

Liberty Mutual
I've been with State Farm for many years but the rate was creeping up on us. My neighbor told me about insurance agent Jeff Zaden Sun who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain coverage and never pressured us. We saved over $2,000+ per year and helped us every step of the way. We were affected by the recent hail storm and we've called Jeff Zaden Sun on a Saturday and he sure answered his cell phone and helped us with the claim process. We are very pleased with his professionalism and service. We highly recommend you to give him a call to get a quote! Call Jeff 817-914-6633 and I am confident that you would be pleased with his service! - Lauren & John

All Floors and More
Wonderful company. The owner and his staff enjoy what they do, and it shows. We had our entire home re-carpeted, the owner came out to measure with a laser...in and out within 10 minutes. We confirmed the carpet and the job was completed about a week later. Our carpet was special order, it took a few days to show up.When we decide to do this again, we will call All Floors & More.

Flaherty's Flooring America
We had an excellent experience with Flaherty's Flooring. They went above and beyond to meet our flooring needs during an unexpected home renovation project. Carl was helpful and responded to emails and phone calls promptly but was never a pushy salesman like you run into so often in this field. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend or family member.

Garage Service Pros
I called for a quote and they had a technician out within two hours, I was very surprised to see that they were willing to work on it right away. The technician had all of the spare parts we needed and he was able to fix our garage door in about an hour. Great and fast service, we will definitely recommend.

Flaherty's Flooring America
The only flooring company that told me the flooring I wanted would not last long with my two dogs and four kids. They care more about the person than just making a sale. They even pointed out the light patterns in my home and why the wear would show more. Very impressed.

Tips & Advices
In most states, contractors are required to have a license before taking a job. Some states also require registration. To be licensed, contractors must pass an exam and meet certain qualifications that prove he or she is a competent flooring contractor. Registration is simply a list of who will be performing a job.
The time it takes to install flooring depends on the type of flooring and the size of the room or rooms involved in the project. In one day, a typical contractor can usually install up to 2,000 square feet of carpet, 600 square feet of hardwood or laminate, or 400 square feet of tile or stone.
  • Do you have a professional license, insurance, and a business liability policy?
  • Who will work on the project?
  • Do you subcontract, and do you screen workers and have insurance policies to cover them?
  • Do you have references or examples of your work I can see?
  • Do you charge for an in-home estimate?
  • What type of flooring is best for my home in terms of architectural consistency, environmental influences (such as whether a certain type of flooring will be affected by humidity in my area), and durability?
Legally, insurance is not necessary, but it's a good idea for flooring contractors to have it. When hiring a flooring contractor, ask whether the business is insured. If it's not, consider that a red flag.
A flooring contractor should know the pros and cons of each flooring option. These might include pricing, time of installation, durability, and average lifespan of the material.
