I was there on Thursday for my first dentist visit in over 12 years (oops). My last dentist appointment somewhere else was so bad that I really feared going back to the dentist. I was ready to have 10 root canals or maybe gum disease...who knows.....BUT, I have to say that every person I was in contact with at this office was excellent at customer service. This is VERY rare in Houston. I was so pleased with the first phone call to make the appointment, the front office lady that did my chart, my hygienist Liz, she was awesome!, my dentist Dr. D was the BEST!!!!!! And I'm not just saying that because after 12 years of not seeing a dentist, I only had 1 little, teeny, tiny cavity :) The dentist's assistant and the girl who charged me....EVERYONE was fantastic!!!! Please keep up the great work! IT is very much appreciated and noticed!!! Thank you, thank you! And I look forward to my next visit and to having my husband and 2 boys meet the great team :)

I recently found myself in THE MOST excruciating pain. Fri - Mon. I was finally able to call a dentist. I went online and found Dr. Daftarian. I read her background and decided she was the doctor for me. I called, praying to get in. one of the staff answered and had me in the next morning. From there is was only more and more terrific. The beautiful inviting and comfortable waiting room was great, it was cold outside and they had the fireplace on. They offered us hot tea while we waited. Dr. D came in and I realized that all my fear and complete anxiety was starting to let go of me as she did the exam. You could not ask for better chair side manner. I have to have some extreme work done, in my opinion, and I may be nervous, but I am no longer terrified. That very thing that kept me from going to the dentist in the first place. I have had some pretty bad experiences. I found MY dentist at last.

Genesis Family Dentistry
I have been seeing Dr. Guillory for 10 yrs, so has my husband and my two boys. He is awesome, my teeth are sensitive and he has never done anything to my teeth that I do not want or cant handle. I even wanted him to give my oldest invisialigh, and he wouldn't do it because he said he didn't really need it and it would waste my money. He has always given our family the least expensive options. He's the ONLY dentist that was able to work on my young son without having to put him to sleep. IDK what this other reviewer is talking about, but he should do his research, extraction and an implant is cheaper than a root canal and a crown, that's probably why you were given that option. I have horrible horrible dental fear and bad experiences, never had a bad experience with Dr. Guillory.

Celebrity Dental
I went to Castle Dental and Bella Dental , it really bad place , the front desk was rule and I wait 3 hour for my appointment, so I stop going to that place anymore , so I try celebrity dental , I rate this place is best dentist I seen so far, Dr.Valdez is a tremendous dentist. SHe explained everything very well and clear in simple terms that I understand. Her treatment was very gentle and her chair side manner was top notch . I have gotten 4 wisdom teeth extracted with no pain. Fillings were done well . This was the best dental experience I have had and very glad I have found her. The front office staff and dental assistant were very accommodating with instructions and insurance coverages. If you are looking for a new dentist, give them a try.

I was referred to Dr. D by my father. Having had horrible experience at the old dental office I went to, I had waited over ten years to see a dentist. I went to her expecting that I would need to have all my teeth removed and possibly dentures.Dr D was very sweet and explained to me that removing my teeth would be a horrible mistake. She did have to extract 3, but was able to replace them with a bridge that is glued in and does not need to be removed!Im so happy I went to her and would highly recommend her. The only negative I have to say in this review is that it took me about 2 weeks to be able to get in with her.

Dr D was the second dentist we went to see in the area after a bad experience with another nearby dentist (you can find my review of them, too). THIS OFFICE AND DOCTOR ARE AMAZING! Great customer service, great bedside manner (of the dentist), great office vibe. Dr D is very conservative with dental work, and will only drill when she believes absolutely necessary. Not pushy at all with dental work, and very knowledgeable. I had questions about my TMJ, and she gave a great (verbal) outline of what she thought should happen for treatment.

5 months ago i was dying of severe tootache. I visited a denist who recommended two of my teeth be root canaled and crowned. I went to Dr. D for second opinion and so glad that I did because she told me it was just due to a sinus infection that I was having. I saw my doctor and antibiotics took care of it. she could have just taken my money and root canaled my teeth like the other dentist wanted to do. But she took the time and correctly helped me. Ive sent my sisters to her and they love her as well. Nothing but positive experience.

Sundrani Dental PC
At 43 years old, I have never had a tooth removed. Came time for a wisdom tooth to come out and this dentist and his group went out of their way to make me comfortable and remove my tooth. Even though they had to take a break because I got sick and passed out (I am a wimp when it comes to pain). They kept me informed about every step...I am sure Dr. Sundrani pulled about 15 pieces out as my tooth kept breaking because it was really messed up with roots that went all the way to my toes. These people rock!

We are new to the area and we did our research through our insurance to find a dentist that was in our network. I have to say we have been patients for 3.5 yrs now and could not be more happy knowing what excellent care that is provided to us. She has such a warm chair side manor and explains everything in detail to us and our children. When you find a doctor like that it makes is all worth while. I highly recommend this office to all families, its a very friendly environment!!!
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future

Just a moment...
