Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant
This place is "almost' one of those hole-in-the-wall places that for some reason amazes you. I say almost, not because it doesn't amaze, but because it's simply a little larger than those kinds of places. The food is amazing! I've been going here now for over 4 years and have never had a dish that wasn't delicious.I've eaten over 10 different menu items, maybe more. They have a lunch menu and a dinner menu. You can only get the lunch menu until 4pm. But you can order anything off the dinner menu at any time. The restaurant is a family owned business, but not all the employees are family members. They are very friendly and will explain anything on the menu showing an exceptional knowledge of the food and the recipes. Some items do contain MSG, for those that need to know, but all the items can be made without it if requested. The menus do not say which items contain MSG however, so you'll need to ask.Every experience eating in the restaurant has been great, except for once (which prompted this review.) That however, was the fault of the customer that just wasn't very intelligent. She apparently order fried shrimp and complained that it wasn't breaded like fried shrimp was supposed to be and proceeded to cuss and use foul language and threaten to never come there again and blog bad things about them. When I saw the fried shrimp she was referring to, I had to laugh because she must have been blind. It was breaded just as all other friend shrimp I've seen, so I think she's just someone who is angry about life in general. It got so bad that we (myself and our table) had to call the cops to come calm her down.So if you read any bad reviews about this place, it's probably this blind lady who doesn't know what Chinese food is supposed to look like or taste like. This is restaurant has deserved all five-stars I've given it and I will continue to go here.By the way, the prices are great as well. Lunch for around $5 or $6 and dinner under $10.

Dragon Gate
Dragon Gate! It's nearby, the food is excellent, parking is easy, takeout is good, and the service is warm and friendly. I have ordered many different things --- and everything, from the Chinese food, the Korean soup, to the sushi, was excellent. They have special nights like Thursday and Sunday for inexpensive sushi. This is a very family-friendly restaurant. You can bring your children, and they can play checkers up front or look at the koi pond while your meal is being prepared. Another thing Moms will love: the place is spotlessly clean. I mean spotlessly. Everywhere. This is a pretty restaurant, nice enough for a date night, and just a little gem in our neck of the woods, and affordably priced. Try the chicken lo mein --- it has a nice smoky flavor, fresh chicken and noodles. If you really want to step up to something excellent, try the mu shu chicken (even better: mu shu pork!) and the hot and sour soup. Yum! This restaurant has a real chef, who properly prepares each dish. You will be relaxed and well-fed. This is the best Chinese restaurant and best Chinese food in Cumming and Forsyth

Dragon Gate
Your average Chinese but way overpriced. The chicken was dry, over run with sauce and the portion is half the size that you get at another place for the same price. They also did not offer an upgrade of fried rice or lo mein over white rice (even at a dollar or two more, which I would have been happy with.) As for their chicken lo mein, I'm not sure if it was dry noodles or thin slices of cabbage or carrots but it felt like I was eating hair, that weird elastic feeling, this had that. I feel bad for giving such a low rating since they are newly opened but we will never eat there again. Maybe with time they'll make changes but right now it's just way too over priced and not the best quality of food we've ever had.

Yuan Li Chinese Restaurant
This small family owned business is been my favorite for me in years. My favorite dishes Singapore noodle. My daughter loves the teriyaki chicken skewers.
