My grand mother lost her license a few years ago and has been asking me to take her to the Getty Museum ever since. I finally broke down and took a day off of work to take her to the museum. Just my luck some idiot rams into my back bumper on the way down the hill. Grand ma wasn’t feeling good and for some reason our car wouldn’t run after it was hit. Everyone was really nice but the tow truck company that came out wanted to charge us $475.00 to get our car out of the parking lot and take it to our home about 6 miles away. Can you believe that, almost 500 dollars? I have had my car fixed at ICC in the past and they told me they have tow trucks so I called them. The tow truck came within 30 minutes, the guy from ICC helped us with our personal belongings and arranged a rental car driver to take me and my grand mother to get a car so we didn’t have to ride in a tow truck. I thought that was really thoughtful and nice of them to do. I had asked the guy on the phone what it would cost and he said “don’t worry about it” if I hadn’t used these guys before I would have worried when someone says not too. I got my rental car, took my Grand mother home and went to the body shop. When I got there the Jack told me that he would give me the tow for no charge or bill it to the other guys insurance company. Jack fixed my car, I didn’t do anything, and he handled the whole mess. I didn’t even have to get involved. I’m not sure about this but I think those people at ICC are the only ones who are doing things like that. I have never heard of any body shop going out of there way like that. I want everyone to know what a great place ICC is and how wonderful Jack and all the people over there are. You guys really made it easy for me.
I had my first accident ever a few weeks back now up on Big Bear Mountain sliding into a mountainside guardrail in a blizzard and my insurance referred me to ICC. I used to drive by this shop on my way to work every day, and always noticed the sign but never thought I'd have to bring my car to a collision shop one day. When I called into the shop they were very friendly and understanding. I personally had the pleasure of working with Joe who promised from day one that he would help me through the entire process and work with my insurance company. All that, he certainly did, along with almost daily follow-up calls with updates on my car. Granted there were snags with my insurance company and the entire ordeal took a little over four weeks but once my insurance approved, Joe took it upon himself personally to try to push my car through and get it finished in the timeliest manner possible. These guys will really try their hardest to make sure everything is perfect. Although, as a customer and a human being, you have to realize everything won't be "perfect" the way it was before the accident (not that everything was perfect before for me) but they darn sure try their hardest. My car ended up looking newer than before! In the end, there were two very very minor issues, one a scratch on my windshield but they promise to have it taken care of and another little thing I noticed was a very very minor paint job issue which I may or may not bother them with. Their customer service is just that great... that I don't even want to bother them anymore. These guys are top notch and I will most certainly refer any body shop work here.
Lets just say, my very negative boyfriend from the moment he saw my car said "Wow, these people care..." YUP! I was so impressed when I received my car back from ICC. I got in a little accident a week ago and Progressive suggested to take my car into this place. After a little research about their work and visiting their website and finding that it was a maybe flashy but persuasive, I decided to just take it in and get my poor car fixed and over with. With the front bumper, passenger side fender, turn signal, and head light needing to be replaced (for my first claim and then two days after my accident my car was broken into before taking it into ICC-not fun) and THEN for my second claim, a new passenger side window that needed to not only be replaced but re-tinted as well, side view mirror and interior fixed, I didn't expect my car back for another two weeks. I dropped off my car Friday morning to be estimated and parts ordered and got it back by the following Friday with it cleaned inside and out, polished and complimentary detail. :) Needless to say, they were fast, friendly and very punctual. They made sure to keep me involved every step of the way via E-mail or even by a personal call. If you ever have to take your car into an auto-body shop, take it to ICC Their customer service is amazing and so is their work.
Had an accident last week, and my poor baby had to be towed away by AAA to the nearest body shop. The shop was closed, and the lot remains locked after-hours, so I had the AAA tow guy leave my banged-up car on an adjacent street, hoping to deal with it early in the morning. The tow truck guy kept telling me that the car might be totaled. Totaled this, totaled that. I thanked him quietly, but inside I was frantic and imagining the worst. When I called the next morning, the front desk agent transferred me over to the manager, Edwin. Edwin was very friendly and courteous on the phone, and empathized enough so that I wouldn't burst into tears while talking about the damage my car sustained during the crash. I informed him that because the accident had occurred after-hours, I left my car at a nearby street. He asked me if I could come by and we would walk over and survey the damage. When all was said and done, there wasn't much they could have done to save my car and I'm just waiting for All State to make the final judgment. I felt compelled enough, though, to write a positive review for ICC for their excellent customer service and helpfulness.

I just gave ICC a call telling them the situation and Sylvia, the manager I think, just tells me to bring it in as soon as I want and they'll take care of me. It was a really short conversation and no waste of time. I dropped off my car and Joe, the guy who estimates the cost, leads me where to park. He inspects everything and after that, I just left it there without any hassle . They even tried to get me a free car rental but I didn't need it since I had borrowed a car already from my sister. Joe called me every other day just to tell me how the car was going. He also dealt with my insurance company too trying to push them to waive my deductible since the accident wasn't my fault. They took care of me in all aspects and in less than two weeks, I had my car back looking like it was brand new. It was also nicely washed like it was detailed. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
My car was scraped and the other driver asked me to get an estimate before filing for insurance. I was trying to be a good guy and help him out...so I looked around and found ICC on-line. Ed, the owner, was so helpful. He contacted the other driver, explained the estimate to him and arranged for the work to be done on my car as quickly as possible. When doing the work, it took him less than 3 days, even though he had estimated it might take longer. He kept me in the loop throughout and I know he was even fair and honest to the other guy, even though he had no reason to be. When I got my car back, I realized that Ed had fixed all of the issues from the actual incident, as well as scrapes and marks that were from other times. He didn't charge any more money -- he just made my car look great. I'm always highly skeptical about any auto work because of the unknown....Ed put me at ease immediately. He is a small local business who I will definitely continue to support and recommend all others to do the same. Keep it up.
I'm HUGE on Customer Service. ICC went above and beyond to make me a very please customer! Alex took great care of me and my car! Unfortunately, my car got hit twice within a matter of 6 months....however ICC took awesome care of us both times! Alex called with updates as promised, was thorough in answering questions and was always helpful coordinating my getting to and from the shop/rental car place. In addition to great service overall, ICC went above and beyond to help me when they didn't have to. A few weeks after my first repair with them, I thought something was wrong with the repair job they had done because my bumper suddenly became misaligned. After taking a closer look, it turns out something had gotten caught in the wheel well while was driving, and pulled part of the bumper out of place. They found the problem, explained that it was a new problem unrelated to the repairs they had done previously...yet still took the time to put it back in place for me without any question! Thanks ICC, Alex and Joe!
So .. a couple weeks ago my friend borrow my car for a few hours and on his way home got into a accident when someone ran out into the middle of the street. Thankfully nobody was hurt. I was particularly worried because the car has nine months left on the lease and if the repairs weren't done well, who knows what I'd have to pay. Long story short the guys and girls at ICC were great. I was called every couple days with an update, a few times by my repair representative Joe and once by the manager Alex. I really appreciate updates. In other words, I hate being left in the dark. I like to hear that things are progressing. Even though they knew I'd have a rental car for the month, they didn't take their time. Who wants to drive a rental car? Got the car back in two weeks and it's immaculate. I'm very grateful for the work and effort they made to make what can be a complicated and annoying processes easy. While I hope never to return, I would definitely go back.
A few months ago I was hit by a charter bus on Santa Monica Blvd. and my entire passenger side suffered as a result. Luckily the bus company's insurance covered the damage. UNluckily the insurance company took its sweet, slow time in addressing things. ICC was extremely patient throughout the whole process, informing me of updates while also dealing with the insurance company. They took the time to explain everything to me, and even though they're busy, they really made me feel like they always had time to make sure I understood what was going on. Not only did they patiently deal with the insurance company for weeks, but my car now looks as good as new!! Really amazing work! They also took the time to make sure I was set up with a rental car, as well as clean and wash my car before giving it back to me! These are very hardworking, honest, all around good guys. I would definitely go back to ICC and I recommend everyone else do the same!
I just got my car back after a second trip to ICC in the past few years and both times I had a great experience. I was originally referred by a friend who was raving about the fact that when she picked up her car not only had they fixed it, but they also washed it! The manager and his assistant are super nice and they do great work. They've never tried to upsell me anything - they're just good, honest guys. The turnaround is fast, and their prices are very reasonable. On a side note, the office is amazing! I love that Jack has a collection of vintage Schwinn Sting-Ray bikes which are incredible to look at. (I totally want one now...). I'm hoping I won't have a need for anymore work to my car in the near future, but if I do I'll definitely go back. If you go, they're located on Washington in CC. There's another auto body place down the street, so make sure you go to the right one. It's a blue grey building with Palms out front at 800 w.
