Mack's Auto-Tech Inc
I've been at the mercy of my car before and I've never been a fan of major car repairs & the maintenance bill that follows. Mack's Auto-Tech Inc. to the rescue. This place is OUTSTANDING!! The staff are on a higher level! The first impression was family, friends and just all around helpful! I had some issues needing resolved and these amazing people went above AND beyond. Way beyond!!! The service was quick and precise. The staff was more than helpful in explaining what repairs I needed and why I needed them. Diane, at the front desk and Ashton, the shop manger were so warm and inviting. It felt amazing to feel safe in giving my business to such a truly personal team of individuals. Mack's Auto-Tech takes care of their customers on a very personal level and it was far beyond the, "take a number and get in line" vibe that I'd experienced at other repair shops. If you want to feel safe giving your hard earned money away, I absolutely recommend you take your vehicle to Mack's Auto-Tech.

Mack's Auto-Tech Inc
I traveled to Crestview from Ohio to visit my Son who is stationed in the area (Army) . As soon as I arrived I had a total disaster with my Van. Working from a local residents recommendation, I contacted Macks Auto. I dropped off my van and in 24 hours was able to pick it back up and have it for the rest of my stay, as well as for the long trip home. Mack's Auto went above and beyond the call when it came to the speed of the repair, chasing down parts etc. Dianne kept in constant contact with me via phone which really eased my concerns and helped me enjoy my precious time with my Son, knowing the vehicle was in good hands. A great company, and great people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry's Garage
Jerry is the one of the most helpful and competent mechanic I personally have ever met. Brought a motorhome in for a safety inspection and service before a long trip and not only did he do the complete ( and I mean everything including the generator) service he also took the time to educated me and my wife on the specific things we need to inspect and be prepared for during our trip. He is fair, honest, and most importantly in our opinion a top notch expert mechanic for anything wheels. We highly recommend and will definitely use his services again. Thank you very much Jerry and Eddie. GLE Allen

R & C Auto Body
Mr. Rocky (owner) is the man! He provided me excellent quality services of repair and paint at the unbeatable prices: I paid from 50% to 90% cheaper than all the prices available in the market! Also, he is timely and punctual in his services. Although I needed to call to him to get to his place, I am glad I did for I got the professional service at the cheapest price. I am very satisfied customer. I encourage everyone to go him if you want to support local business without compromising quality and cost. :)

Jerry's Garage
Jerry was a life saver. I was passing through town when my diesel F-250 broke down. He expertly diagnosed the problem and expedited all repairs including acquiring the parts. Jerry had me back on the road with minimal delay. Without Jerry, I'd still be stranded in Crestview. Pricing was very fair and service was excellent. Thanks Jerry!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
