My kids have learned so much in a very short time. Self esteem 100% , Confidence in them selves 100% and to respect themselves and others. My fear of bullies around my kids when I'm not around has changed av100%. Love this place. The instructors are like pit bulls with big hearts very professional!
The gym is very clean as well as the women's area. The only thing I didn't like is the lady was sweeping in my area. I have bad allergies.
Captain Kevin was awesome. knew what he was talking about and supplies everything. learned a lot. coming back for sure. kids loved it too.
Great trip again..See you next winter heading back with lots of fillets and great memmories. Thanks,Tommy Barny
I would not recommend this place. The owner only cares about making money, he doesn't care about the students or really teaching them karate and as long as you bought the $60 belt, which by the way your required to purchase a new one every 6 weeks, he just passes the student during testing whether they actually earned it or not. There are a lot of hidden fees that the owner doesn't mention and he also doesn't bother telling anyone that they are signing a 1 year contract that he will not let you out of for anything. I mean who ever heard of a contract for kids! He's constantly going out of town for tournaments and even on his own personal vacation and closing for weeks at a time but still charging full price. Take my advice and don't bring your kids here!
Do not take your children to this place!!! The owner is a scam artist. He will sweet talk u into becoming a member and signing a contract n then scam u out of hundreds of dollars n over charge your account. He takes weeks off at a time n closes down the school and still charges full price. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!
I have been a student at Youngs ATA for sometime and I have been impressed with not only the high level of instruction but the family atmosphere. I would recommend Youngs ATA to all my friends.
Love going here. Been doing taekwondo for a yr but my kid has been going for several yrs. Even though this is business the owner is easy going and patience with students. He now has another instructor to help. And it great exercise
CRAZY EXPENSIVE FOR AVERAGE FACILITIES - If you like 1970's decor and want to pay $70 a month for the membership fee plus a 75 cent charge every time you use a locker, then this is the place for you.If you're like me and go to the gym three days a week, that's an annual cost of $996 dollars or $83 a month. You get a discount if you work for an oil company, but no discounts are offered to church employees. And if the huge monthly fee that doesn't even include a locker isn't enough, you have to play for racquetball and tennis courts during peak use periods. These prices are higher than some really high-end athletic clubs in Houston that are much nicer.
I have been a part of Choi's Tae Kwon Do Academy since childhood, and enrolling me is one of the best things my parents ever did for me. The physical and mental strength and discipline I learned in Tae Kwon Do shaped my future and helped me succeed in many different aspects of my life.
