On The Spot Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
My hot water heater went out in my condo. I was covered by American Home Shield. On the Spot plumbing called me to schedule an appointment inside of 24 hours. Once the appointment was set, Cindy gave me a heads up call that they were 20 minutes out, and once again when they arrived. They were prompt, on-time, with excellent communication. Master Plumber Isaac quickly diagnosed the problem and was on the phone with AHS immediately. Once AHS approved the replacement, they ordered a new one and put it on "will call" for Isaac to pick up. Once in will call, Cindy called and scheduled the replacement in the condo. Once again Cindy called 20 minutes before arriving and again once they arrived. Isaac removed the old heater, installed and plumbed up the new one in just over an hour. The installation is professional, much neater and cleaner than the old heater. Isaac even took time to show meet the "sharks teeth" connection he used instead of soldering or using compression fittings. I would highly recommend Cindy and Isaac to tackle any of your plumbing needs. A pleasure to deal with.

Lamar Plumbing Inc
I purchased a side by side refrigerator and needed to have a separate water line for the ice/water dispenser. I contacted several plumbers and received several estimates and the lowest was &350.00. I then contacted Lamar Plubming and Tim showed up, checked the work to be done and advised me that he call me back with an estimate. In about 20 minutes, I got a call from Tim and was advised the job would cost $260.00. I contracted Lamar Plumbing, ot he job done in less than an hour. Tim and his helper Christian were quick and to the point. I can now enjoy my ice and cold water. Great job and should I need a plubmer in the future, Lamar Plubming is my choice!!

Drum Plumbing & Backflow LLC
Mike just finished doing two repairs at our house. His professional knowledge was very evident and friendly service was appreciated. Although he was scheduled for one repair there was another which needed to be completed and he simply stated; “You still have time on your hour so it won’t cost you anymore.” He quickly completed the second repair. He did such an impressive job my wife and I talked to him about being the lead plumber when we build our new home in the future. Thank You!!

Drum Plumbing is great! I had them come to my home recently, not only are they Polite and Professional but they are HONEST! I was under the impression i had a severe plumbing issue that was going to cost me a great deal of money but turned out to be something very minor and not costly at all.Due to being a female and not educated in the plumbing field, I could've been taken on a wild ride and charged a ton but thanks to Drum Plumbing and his staff, I wasn't!

First Class Service!!! Called and they sent a technician out the same day to fix problem! A/C technician was very knowledgeable and showed me what the issue was and how to correct it in the future. He repaired the A/C and cleaned up behind himself, which these days is hard to get technicians to do without telling them to. Great Job Bodine Scott Air Conditioning!

Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ¼-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
