Gray Air Conditioning & Htg
I just had to share this....Bodine Scott came to our townhouse at 6 o'clock this evening, got on the roof, and said the fan motor was burned out and they don't have that motor but would see about getting it on Tuesday. I called Alan Clower, who said "why don't you call my air-conditioner people who take care of all my rent property and my own townhouse, Gray AC.?" He gave me their number (361-855-8788); I called; Bill Gray picked up the phone; I told him what the problem was and what the motor size was I needed. He said "let me see if I can find a used one tonight to get you through the night."Long story short...They found new one and two men came and installedat 9:45 pm...Sunday, July 3, 2016. Omega Mechanical
Found Omega Mechanical through a family friend. Was very pleased with their professionalism, knowledge, expertise, quick response, and price ! These guys came from Corpus Christi and replaced my entire A/C system, very happy with their customer service. Once the job was done, all the trash was picked up and they left the house very clean. I highly recommend Omega Mechanical to anyone looking to replace or service their A/C and Heating system. Thank you guys you did an awesome job, 5 stars all the way !!

Done Right A/C
We have had Done Right AC out to our hous at least 8 times. Mostly bc they need to return a second and third time to complete a job. And that's not usually bc they were missing a part, it's bc they didn't finish the work or something went wrong. We even had other contractors come out fixing their work and stating they did things incorrectly and not properly. This is a shock after paying our warranty company. They also accept job requests yet cannot come out for a week to 10 days!!! This is ridiculous - let another contractor have the job. Don't make us wait 10 days. Anyway, I tried again and again to work w them. But I've called the last time. I will change or cancel my homeowners policy before I use them again. The secretary is full of excuses and is difficult to compromise and coordinate with, being very inflexible. Charles, the owner, tries to help but also makes excuses and doesn't accept responsibility for his workers and his company and business. All in all- poorly run company doing the basics and getting by with band aids. They have high turnover in technicians to my memory. Don't use!

Justice Air Conditioning & Heating
The owner of this company, Jose Alvarez, told me that if I complain about their customer service to my home warranty company that he would INTENTIONALLY postpone my AC repair, which he has followed through on. I was unhappy with them because they lied to me about when they ordered parts causing it to be delayed over the weekend then Monday confirmed with me twice that the part was in and I was next on the list then at the end of the day admitted the "forgot" that they received the wrong part and wouldn't be coming that day. I'm 8 months pregnant and had cancelled my OB appointment to wait on them all day. The next few days the told my home warranty company that the parts would be overnighted yet the kept "not showing up" until I finally hired my own AC company. My warranty company told them to call the supply warehouse to release their hold on the part that was needed to fix my unit since they were no longer on the job and, after telling my warranty company they would do that, Jose Alvarez personally called the supply house and demanded that they absolutely not release that part to my new AC company so that he could delay my service one more day. Not only is he unprofessional but he's inhumane and is choosing to keep me in a dangerous situation during pregnancy simply because I was not pleased with his customer service.

Tips & Advices
You can keep your air conditioner running efficiently with some preventative care measures. Shut off the power to your AC before cleaning it or performing any of these tasks:  clean your filter at least twice a year; remove leaves and twigs from cages; clean the fins with a garden hose or special spray, then use a butter knife to straighten any that are crooked; keep your yard clean so the fins won't get blocked; cover the unit up for winter; and make sure it's level or you run the risk of damaging the inner workings of the unit.
To clean your air conditioner drain, first shut off the power to your unit at both the thermostat and the breaker. Then remove the drain pan. If the pan is full of water, soak up the liquid with a few towels or rags or use a wet vacuum. You can use a solution of water and distilled vinegar, or substitute peroxide for the vinegar, to clean out the drain pipe. Let the pipe sit for a while in the solution and then put all the parts back in place. Once you start using your air conditioner on a regular basis, check it periodically to ensure condensation isn't building up.
If you happen to live in a hot and humid area of the country, drainage problems can occur with your unit since moisture can trap itself inside the system. Routine maintenance can cut down on drainage issues by cleaning out any mold or algae from blocking the drain. If you notice moldy smells whenever you turn the thermostat down, check on your system.
If you notice your system is acting inconsistently, the sensor is most likely out of place. Turn off the unit and reach behind its control panel while carefully bending the sensor back into place near the evaporative coil.
Find out where the noises are coming from. A banging or clanking sound could be due to a loose part. If you hear a hissing sound, it's most likely because of a refrigerant leak and you should contact an HVAC technician as soon as possible.
