Alpha and Omega Muffler and Complete Auto Repair
Lino and his team were lifesavers when my cooling system failed over 4th of July weekend. I encountered the problem while I was driving from San Francisco to Temecula for a friend's wedding, and the team at Alpha & Omega offered me the best service and price that I could have asked for. Lino & co. weren't only expert mechanics: they were kind, friendly and went out of their way to try and accommodate me and my schedule as a visitor to the area and a stressed-out traveler. I can't recommend them enough! Thanks to their service I made it out to Temecula in time for my friend's rehearsal dinner, and back up to the SF Bay Area without a single issue. Thanks, Lino and team!

M & M AUTO REPAIR
Read all or most of the reviews posted on yelp and decided to give M & M a try, for the past 10 yrs or so I was taking all my buisness to a place in Corona/Norco and had also referred alot of customers to them, but lately I was told I needed to make an apponitment, phone calls were not returned, and because I spent and refereed alot of people to them I felt as if I should have been treated better. That being said, Mike replaced both my axles on my Nissan and did an oil change, both Mark and Mike seem to be very honest and strightforward, I will continue to use M & M and if all works out will recommend family and friends, so far so good. To be continued...

Fast Auto Service
My car wouldn't start properly, so I decided to take it to this shop, which I was told was very reliable. After the mechanic took a look at it, they said it could be one of two tings; either the idle air control intake valve sensor wasn't working or the the intake valve was dirty and it needed a simple cleaning. Lucky for me it only needed some cleaning that they took care of quickly and cost-effectively (for cheap). In the end I was glad with the great service they provided, and I would definitely trust my car to them again. Five stars, I say! I had gone to two other places and they charge and didn't fix the problem.

Precision Import Auto Repair
I had a problem with my car and I didn’t know where to go. A friend told me that Precision Import Auto Repair was a good place to take the car, so I had it towed there. Their service writer is excellent. He went over everything really well and explained what was needed for the car. He also told me how much it was going to be. A little later he called and told me that there was one more part that needed to be added, and how much it was. I said to go ahead and do it, and I really appreciated being told about it beforehand. Car’s in excellent working condition now, thanks a ton.

Grady Garrison's Inc. Paint & Auto Body
There not enough room here to tell you how satisfy I am about Grady Harrison. If you're not taking your car here, you're taking it to the wrong place. From start to finish Grady Harrison will take care of you. The relationship doesn't end after you pick up your car it's only just begun because they want you to be satify with the repairs. They don't overpriced the repairs like other companies. I can't say enough about Grady Harrison. This is a family run business and they treat you like family. There no place like this place so this must be the place.

Grady Garrison's Inc. Paint & Auto Body
My car was hit in a parking lot and sustained considerable damage. The automobile club referred me to Grady's shop. I couldn't be happier with the work they did on my car-it looks brand new. It was returned to me two days before I expected it, and he even fixed several scratches on the car for free that were unrelated to the accident. He also very reasonably fixed a dent on our roof. I will never go anywhere else to get any of our cars fixed. Grady goes way above and beyond. The customer service there is superlatives as well.Jim and Linda BahrCorona

Precision Import Auto Repair
I have been in the military for 20 years and stationed all over the world and have never had better service anywhere than I had at Precision Import Auto Repair. While I was traveling through California, my Mercedes broke down and I had to be in San Antonio that night or I would be AWOL. The team quickly diagnosed my problem, located the part, fixed my car and I was in San Antonio in record time. I not only recommend Precision Import Auto Repair to everyone in the military but anyone who relies on cars as much as I do.

Carstar Allstar Collision
This is a great body shop. The people are friendly and they take a lot of time explaining things if you have questions. I have been here two times now for body and paint work on two different cars and they have done an excellent job on both. They even rented a vehicle for me to use while they were fixing my car. Thank you JC, Chris, Larry and all the other people that made the extra effort to "do the job right." Very Satisfied Customer and I highly recommend Allstars Collision to everyone.

Precision Import Auto Repair
I had an issue with my truck and I took it to Precision Auto. The repair went off without a hitch and when I went to pick up the car everything was done. This was a one day turn around too. I paid the bill, they were friendly and cordial, and it was ready to go. It was my first time using them, but I will use them again. They understand their customers, work with you, and explain everything to ensure there are no misunderstandings.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
