Canine Castle
Most Trusted with My 4 Furry Children. Canine Castle has always been my place to go when it comes to pet nutrition and dog boarding. I use to live in Huntersville NC where I found Canine Castle. Unfortunately I had to move down south. I have 4 big beautiful furry children and every time I need to make a vacation place, my husband and I plan our trips around going by Canine Castle to have them watch our dogs. I would never trust anyone else with my dogs. Not all of my dogs are the most ideal dog situation but they are still my babies. One of my dogs requires a topical lotion to be placed on her skin everyday do to her allergies. When I pick her up she is always rash free because of their great care. Another one of my dogs is scared to death of other dogs do to coming from a rescue that had abused fighting dogs, where he was used as a bait dog. Canine Castle graciously offers a environment where this particular dog can be away from other dogs. My third dog is soooo hyper, every time I pick him up he sleeps the whole way home (5 hrs). My fourth dog has bad separation anxiety. When she is picked up I find her sleeping under the owners desk, staying close to someone who cares. Not many places would kindly reach out a helping hand to all of my furry children. Past places I have been have told me that they cant accommodate such needs as all 4 of my dogs. Canine helps with no hesitation. Thank you guys. See ya'll next vacation.

Impeccable Paws
Our family bought a yorkie puppy from impeccable paws and she has been with us for 2 years. They offer free training with their puppies and even with other dogs that you don't buy from them. About a year after we bought sunshine we rescued a shih tzu mix and he was full of issues, when I called the owner he asked me to bring the new dog in and he took a look at it and came up with an awesome training plan and it worked great! When I asked how much I owed the owner said he does it for any one who asks and that there was no charge. I will say that they are really busy and sometimes it is hard to get a hold of dan but he has never let us down! Last week we bought our second yorkie and we could not be happier. Everyone there is really awesome and offers a ton of info with food and grooming issues but ask for the owner, he even gives out his personal cell number. I just don't know of any business out there that gives you the personal service that I get every time I walk in! we live in a really small town and before we went to this place we had tried about 8 different groomers and nobody even came close to these people, now I just need to find a hairdresser for my self that's as good as my groomer! LOL you guys have our business because you have earned it and you love what you do and it shows. Thanks for taking care of our babies and thanks for the newest addition. WE LOVE YOU!The Schnople Family!

Impeccable Paws
I have been living in between Charlotte and LA since 2005 and have lots of friends with dogs and I finally bit the bullet and adopted a border collie that is the best, but a little nuts! I decided to get him groomed and went onto Google to check the reviews. I was impressed with this place based on what people had to say about it! If you are like me and reading this review then know that the reviews are a bit inaccurate, it is way better! The owner is awesome and showed me how to have my dog walking by my side in less than 5 minutes. they told me that they are blessed to be able to do exactly what they love and it showed in every way. My dog had been abused and is extremely shy, especially of men and he actually kissed the owner and warmed right up to him. I was shocked to say the least. What a delight to deal with!!! Hilary

Impeccable Paws
I moved to Mooresville NC 5 months ago and have tried several groomers and Yes my dog is a nervous nelly, but everywhere I have gone leaves my dog nuts and with diarrhea! My neighbor recommended Impeccable Paws and I gave them a try! WOW, what a difference! The people there really took the time to find out what I wanted and greeted my dog like he was an old friend! I was still worried about him but when I came back he was running around in back and when they let him out he ran over to the guy behind the desk and gave him a kiss before coming to me! I do not know how they did it but my dog loves them!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend them to anyone and they are definatly worth the drive!Mike

Sophisticuts Dog Salon
She is by far the best groomer around. Ive read all of the reviews on here and its pretty funny to me. Theres always 2 sides to every story. Being a groomer myself, it is unbelievable how twisted people can be and how much they lie. The second that you dont let them walk all over you, they turn on you and bash you anywhere they can. She is a show groomer and has an awesome personality. Give her a chance and you wont be disappointed.

We take our Yorkie, Teddy, to be groomed here and only here. We also take him here to be boarded and he is taken home at night with the owners. He has a liver shunt and needs medicine 3 times a day. I only trust a few people to take care of him. Impeccable Paws is one of them! I love them! They truly care about your pets and I would pay extra for that.

Canine Castle
the owner here cares for the animal and watch for it .If they called animal control on one of their client's dog then I must comment them for doing that at the expense of possible losing a customer. Bravo to the owner.

Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
