The Little Clinic - Trinity Commons
I love this clinic and this kroger but they have one very rude girl working the checjmk in desk. This girl does not belong at this Kroger where all the employees are super nice. Kroger little clinic you need to look into this employee. Deshanna is on her name tag.

Cordova Medical & CosMedic Solutions
I was lucky enough to find out about Cordova Medical & CosMedic Solutions via Groupon, but after that, I am a life-long customer. Cat and Liz (and ALL the staff) have gone above and beyond in sharing their knowledge, expertise, and wonderful customer service. Everyone in the office makes you feel special and like one of the family. The services Cat and Liz provide are AMAZING both physically (you can see immediate results) as well as psychologically (you feel better about yourself)! I book my appointments well in advance (yes they book up quickly) and then start counting down the days until I am able see Cat and Liz and enjoy their unbelievable services! I wholeheartedly recommend Cordova Medical & CosMedic Solutions to any and everyone! You will become a life-long customer like me!

Great doctor but the support staff is very poor. The best word is incompetent. They told it would 7-14 working days to get a back to work release filled out. Unbelievable.

I was having body aches as if I was coming down with a cold, & I decided to visit Mid South Urgent Care. The staff was awesome from the time I signed in. The doctor I saw was Dr Wayne & he was so friendly. I will be back for any medical needs in the future. Y'all have an awesome staff...

Midsouth Urgent Care
I must say I don't know what Angie is complaining about the staff and espiecially the nurse practioner Bobbie is a tremendous provider! She thoroughly checked me when I thought I broke my finger and when I had majorly strained a muscle. She has so much care for her patients. She called me the following days after I saw her just to check on me and see if I needed anything. Noone does that anymore. That is what I call a caring and compassionate person. If I could go to her for all my needs I would. The nurses and staff are wonderful and I highly recommend them to everyone. You will not only be treated as a patient but family! Job well done by the awesome staff!!! :)

Midsouth Urgent Care
I have visited this UC on a Monday and a few of the staff are rough around the edges, it took the guy at the front desk 45 mins to check me in and talked so LOUD on the phone I was scared for my personal information, but once I got to the back the nurse and the provider the blk skinny tall lady was SIMPLY AMAZING got me in and out and did everything I opened my mouth and asked for i don't know what Angie issue was but she must have had a bad morning. I referred my co-worker on a Friday and she was treated by a Dr. working she could over hear him call someone on the phone to teach the girl how to give me a breathing treatment after seeing the little machine I thought to myself who can't work this little toy, my daughter can work that. I sat and waited til she got off the phone and went ahead with the rest of my services. I would have thought a Dr. would know how to work a breathing machine.

Midsouth Urgent Care
So, I just left here with my 12 year old daughter who cut her hand open...this place is awesome! The young lady behind the counter was helpful and kind..the nurse practioner was absolutely awesome with us! She treated my daughter gently, and respectfully. She did an excellent job with the stitches, and made us feel ver comfortable. Not sure what Angie had issues with, but it seems that she is one of the types of patients that knows more than the doctors...oh well...I WILL return, and in fact, on the way home, my daughter asked me if we can begin going there as a primary....job well done...bravo to the staff!!

Midsouth Urgent Care
My son had a sore throat he was seen by his pediatrician who said it was not strep and refused to prescribe antibiotics. I took him to mid south urgent care on houston levee because he was not getting better. The excellent physician there promptly administered a strep test which was positive! He prescribed antibiotics and now my son is better. I highly recommend this facility .

Doctor's Diet Shot and Wellness Center
This company and there compounds were stolen by the Landlord and his receptionist girlfriend, and they don;t know what they are doing, the health department is looking into this, They have no idea what they are doing, They are BOTH EVIL and scary. If you buy a Lipo shot you will get something else..........................
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
