YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The Skin Care instructors are not professional except one (Nadia), they and the Spanish speaking student pretty much do whatever they one. They don't have a Skin Care instructor who speak English only so you are thrown in a class with people who speak Spanish. The instructors don't give you much direction because they are doing whatever they like (like buying make-up ,talking to other instructors, students and ordering lunch). the instructors are very discrimative towards people who don't speak Spanish (its you against them). Really didn't learn much I pretty much self taught myself. They are unfair cause I got suspended for 3 days for school because of some hear say, totally not fair. If you want a school that is professional, fair and you are actually being taught , this is certainly not the school. THIS IS THE TRUE EXAMPLE OF YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR

We took my 1 year old son there for his first haircut. When we first walked in the receptionist was moody with us. She asked my son's name and I'll spelled it for her because it is a harder name to spell. We got Alex and did so good with my son. He was quick and worked well even with my son moving his head. Miss Cookie was also very friendly and helpful while we were there. Then the receptionist misspelled my son's last name on his certificate. When I pointed it out to her, she again got very moody with us. Miss Cookie told us that Alex will be moving on to Great Clips, we definitely be going to him again. The price was good and other than the receptionist everyone was very friendly.

Very unprofessional! I contacted this school to schedule a tour and meet with a recruiter. I was told that I was being scheduled at a time where I could sit in on a class and be able to speak with a few students. I went an hr early and sat in my car to observe. The students outside did not look like model students or future stylists by the way that they presented themselves--most of them. Hair unkempt, some with scarves on their heads like they were on their way to bed. One girl had on a belly shirt with her belly hanging over her pants with no belt, another had on what looked like pajamas. Basically, a lack of decorum. I blame the school for not setting that standard because they are responsible for turning out professionals. I went inside maybe 20mins before the scheduled time. I didnt wait for long. The tour was ok, but the day students were gone already gone for the day and the evening students werent due to come in for about 2hrs. OK?? How was I supposed to sit in on a class and speak to students? After the tour, I was asked general questions like my address, phone #, and if I THINK that I would be interested in the school. I thought I was being asked these questions because they keep visitor info on file if a scheduled tour was given, sort of like when you go looking at apartments. I didnt know that I was being registered until I was told, "this is the part where you pay the $100 registration fee". Then the manager gave me the BS story that she takes it personal when a prospective student cancels registration. Oh please. After that day, she, the VP, and whoever else took turns calling multiple times a day to speak with me. Im glad that I didnt give my cell phone # because I was in orientation at a new job that week. The next Sat morning I was awaken to recieve their call. The same manager had the nerve to speak to me with an attitude, attempted to question me, and told me, "Well if you dont wanna go here, thats YOUR LOSS". I just hung up on her. 3 more people called later that day. The Monday after, I went to the school to see what cancellation form I was told that I needed to fill out. It was already filled out with a reason of cancellation that I did not give. The same manager all of a sudden was oh so sweet like she was when I met her. I asked her to notate that I had no obligation to the school. With an attitude, she repeatedly refused. This schools administration is extremely unprofessional and as phony as they come. Beware, but also know that if you are interested in one of their other campuses outside of FL, you may not go through this disgusting behavior. I begin classes at the Aveda Institute in 2 weeks. SUCH a positive difference and consistent throughout their campuses both here and NY, where I moved from almost 3 weeks ago.

I am African America female with a natural short Afro style and received a color. They are very professional and friendly. The salon was clean and inviting. The teacher was always there monitoring and giving feed back to the students so you feel comfortable. The students looked happy to be there and proficient in their task. Don't go anywhere else.
