One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning
I have been a customer of Petrie's and it's 'comfort club member' for many years. All of the staff members and service techs are friendly, helpful and well trained. They have 'gone the extra mile' for me so many times. When my old heating and cooling system went out on one of the coldest nights (Feb. 2014) they managed to have a new one completely installed the following morning even though they were told it would be two weeks before a unit could be here. They also left me with three electric heaters until the new unit was installed AND got me a very low interest rate on the new unit. They come every six months to check and service the units which is included in my membership. I highly recommend this business to everyone. This is the first business review I have ever made in my 72 years! They are simple that good.

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning
My husband called One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning after going two weeks without air conditioning. The technician arrived at our house only an hour after we called. Eric was extremely professional and courteous. He answered all of our questions and was very honest! Unlike other companies & technicians, he did not try to overcharge us or convince us to replace unneeded parts. I will be sure to use ONLY One HOur in the future and ask for Eric! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Walls Heating & Air
Very honest man. I called him because my ac/heating unit stopped working. He was at my house in 10 min and had the air back on in 20min. We have a 25+ year old unit so I thought it needed to be replaced. Turns out it just needed a new fuse and a good cleaning. This guy is honest, straightforward, and fast! I signed up for yelp just to write this review because I was so pleased, and he only charged me $120.00! The other bigger companies charge $80 just to come loke at it.

Installed a new system. These gentleman also deserve high praise for their professionalism and efficiency. They worked long and hard to install the system. I might add that the temperature was in the 90's, so the conditions under which they worked was not pleasant. We never heard a grumble or complaint throughout the day. They tended to the business at hand efficiently and were very accommodating answering any questions we had.

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning
I had my annual service on my heat done today. I have used several different service companies over the years and today was the best service and inspection I have ever had. The technician explained and shared a lot of information about the unit and gave it a detail inspection. His name was Brian. This was the first time I have used Petrie's One Hour but It won't be the last.

Tips & Advices
You can keep your air conditioner running efficiently with some preventative care measures. Shut off the power to your AC before cleaning it or performing any of these tasks:  clean your filter at least twice a year; remove leaves and twigs from cages; clean the fins with a garden hose or special spray, then use a butter knife to straighten any that are crooked; keep your yard clean so the fins won't get blocked; cover the unit up for winter; and make sure it's level or you run the risk of damaging the inner workings of the unit.
To clean your air conditioner drain, first shut off the power to your unit at both the thermostat and the breaker. Then remove the drain pan. If the pan is full of water, soak up the liquid with a few towels or rags or use a wet vacuum. You can use a solution of water and distilled vinegar, or substitute peroxide for the vinegar, to clean out the drain pipe. Let the pipe sit for a while in the solution and then put all the parts back in place. Once you start using your air conditioner on a regular basis, check it periodically to ensure condensation isn't building up.
If you happen to live in a hot and humid area of the country, drainage problems can occur with your unit since moisture can trap itself inside the system. Routine maintenance can cut down on drainage issues by cleaning out any mold or algae from blocking the drain. If you notice moldy smells whenever you turn the thermostat down, check on your system.
If you notice your system is acting inconsistently, the sensor is most likely out of place. Turn off the unit and reach behind its control panel while carefully bending the sensor back into place near the evaporative coil.
Find out where the noises are coming from. A banging or clanking sound could be due to a loose part. If you hear a hissing sound, it's most likely because of a refrigerant leak and you should contact an HVAC technician as soon as possible.
