Chad's Salon A Hair Spa
Wow! This place is awesome!I was so apprehensive to get my hair cut, and I didn't know where to go.I am 19 years old, have extremely long hair, and wanted it to have more shape in the front with a slight bang. I still wanted it to be long, though.I looked up reviews and saw Chad's Salon was good. The reviews said to go see Crystal. Crystal wasn't even on their website, but she DOES still work there. She really WAS awesome! I have never liked my hair after going to a salon. But I actually LOVE my haircut! She took so much time and is a real artist!I showed her a picture that I liked, and she was able to replicate it.When I first saw her, I was not expecting to see a dark-skinned lady. I wasn't sure if she was used to Caucasian hair. But I feel so silly now to have ever thought that. She is VERY skilled at doing Caucasian hair. The famous Ted Gibson also does all kinds, and I liken her to being like him. :)The salon is very beautiful and two-stories. The ambiance is wonderful.I highly recommend you go here. I was considering going to a very high-end salon that was very expensive (at LEAST $100 for a cut and wash). But decided to try this place, and it was NOT expensive at all!I got to have my hair brushed, washed, brushed again, blown dry, cut, and then straightened all for $35!That is amazing. If you are in doubt - GO TO CRYSTAL!!! :D

Royal Pet Salon
I have 6 month old Yorkie that looked like a big fluff ball. She was in need of a haircut badly. This was her first haircut so I was a bit leary about who I took her to. I did research and asked around and I was floored from all the horror stories with pets getting groomed. I found Royal Pet Salon (Travis) and began to converse through email. I spoke with him by phone and he made me feel comfortable about bringing my baby to him. Long story short I dropped her off and the way he handled her made me know she was going to be just fine. He held her just as I do and I was pleased with that. When I picked her up I had to fight the tears she was beautiful! Travis you are amazing and you will forever have a customer with me! You are great at what you do and thanks for making me and Diamond feel comfortable with you! Diamond and Markeisha

Chad's Salon A Hair Spa
I've tried almost every salon in Conyers and I stopped my search when I found Crystal. I get my color and cut done by her and I refuse to see anyone else. She's currently at Chad's Salon in Old Town Conyers; it has an urban feel to it and its really cute. Crystal is very personable, professional and a true artist in her craft. I have wavy hair which can be difficult but she understood exactly how to cut my hair without it ending up in some weird style once it air dries. My hair always looks like silk when I leave! I love seeing her. Just make sure you book you next appointment before you leave because sometimes she get really busy

Autumn's Day Spa & Salon, LLC
"Fred, gave me an awesome massage that concentrated on the very areas I had told him I was having issues with; Thus, he listens 100% to the customer, to provide a unique treatment for each person! On a second visit, Lailyn performed a facial with micro-derma-abrasion on my wife. Wow, she looks great it has removed dark spots from her cheeks!!!!! My wife is so happy and is thankful to me. She keeps spoiling me, when it was Lailyn's ability and customer service that deserves all the credit!!!!!!!" - SG

Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
