Walmart Supercenter
I was in your store a couple of weeks ago, I bought some dog food and cat food and a few other thing. There was a cart pusher in the parking lot, His name was Kevin. He walked up to me and said let me help you mam. He was very polite, he help me put the things in my car. I thank him, and he told me I was welcome. I use to work at Walmart several years ago. I think that he showed what customer service is suppose to be. I haven't seen anyone in Walmart in year that put the customer first, and Kevin certainly did that. I felt like I should tell you what an asset I believe he is to your Conway, South Carolina Store Number #0586. If there was only more people at Walmart that the customer first I believe you would have a much better store. Anyway my reason for writing you is to tell you what Kevin did for me. And I Thank Him For That. Thank You, Donna Murrow

I found this Wal-Mart Super Center while driving along highway 501 in Conway, SC. I was looking for a place to get supplies and snacks for my daughter, who will be a freshman at Coastal Carolina University this fall. The selection was large, we find everything on her list. And then when an infuriating and unfortunate event occurred with my bank that didn't allow my purchase. The staff acted professionally. They suspended the purchase and placed it aside until I could call my bank. Because I was outside my home state and it was such a large purchase, the bank thought it was a fraudulent purchase. As soon as I confirmed my identity they allowed the purchase. I went back to the Wal-Mart and they re-rang my items and everything went fine. The stressful incident was made more bearable because of the staff and customer service reps at this Wal-Mart. Kuddos to them.

The selection is decent. The service is spotty depending on who happens to pay attention to WAIT ON YOU, and DO THEIR JOB!! I find it necessary to pick out a few select people to ask for assistance as most stockers or floor people are usually socializing LOUDLY, and clearly don't "cotton" to questions. Making my way to the register I'd rather stand in a longer line for the cashiers I KNOW will be at least courteous and not appear hostile, indifferent, or simply WALK AWAY from the register to say something to their people. This being said, the OTHER walmarts are not as heavily minority, and the staff more helpful and courteous.
