Skip's Grill & Chill
Skip's Grill & Chill1022 3rd Ave, Conway, SC 29526 (843) 488-1747AtmosphereAt the drive-by, the atmosphere of this place invites. Its well-executed, cohesive diner concept draws you right in from the street. When we walked in at about 11:30am on a weekday, the place was humming and filled to capacity. The theme was colorfully and cohesively carried out as promised from the street presence. From the striking, black and white tiled floors to the red accents, to the quirky wall art, it had a fun, cool vibe, which did not disappoint. 50’s style uniforms would really put the theme over the top.ServiceLaid back is the term that comes to mind. Come on in. Pick a table and sit down. One gets the feeling that you are welcome to stay and chat. The service was friendly if not a bit absent. We had to go get our waitress a couple of times. But when she did arrive, she promptly told us the special and smartly put down a cup for each of us to full with a drink. This made us much more likely to purchase a drink while we waited for the food. She was cheerful and did a sufficient job. They also have local delivery. This hardly bears mentioning until you see the adorable, golf cart delivery car decked out as a 50’s car complete with rumble seat. (I think that’s where the order must be stashed in this tiny, eye catching micro car.) How clever! It really turns heads and gets the job done with a kitchy twist. Fun! FoodThe menu selection was good. It included what one would expect from a diner: apps, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, sides, desserts, etc… Our food was tasty, hot and well presented. One thing we really liked was the sweet hot mustard available at each table. It was fun to try and delicious. Venue meeting expectations, I’d give this restaurant a solid 8.5 out of 10. I’ll definitely go back and probably bring the family next time.

Gun Store & Indoor Range
2nd incident was more recent and I waited to write something. Took my daughter and her BF to range to shoot and teach them. I was not going to shoot just instruct. We had a good time till the end. one of the firearms jammed and I showed them how to correct it. It jammed again so There was approx 4 rds left in the mag and I sot them to see if firearm would jam again. Well the KID running the range saw me shoot the firearm and charged me a full hour of shooting. Even after explaining the circumstances and that there was only 2 lanes in use etc etc he with a nasty attitude said you said you were not going to shoot and you shot. Not to argue the point I just paid the hour. I think this is a poor business practice. They also don't seems so friendly as a whole in the store. A friend of mine had an incident where they backed out of a deal with him after a commitment.
