Burns Brian Atty
I was charged with possession of child porn which I did not do. They burst in my home about 5 AM arrested me took me to jail. I had just gotten home from having atumor removed from my brain so it is hard for me to remember. But my daughter got an attorney posted a 50.000 dollar bond. This lawyer was a puppet for the court. This went on for over a year. Then this lawyer told me well the best I can do is try and get you probation. I said no I did not do it and I will not plead guilty to something I did not do. I had paid this lawyer over 25.000$ but I knew she did not care just the money. I talked to my God and he sent me to Brian Burns. Brian came to my house met with my family looked around told me to not worry. In less than 2 months Brian got the case against me dismissed. I was amazed at his professional power he used. If anyone is in need of the greatest attorney in Conroe I strongly suggest Brian Burns. This man actually saved my life and my family. God bless you Brian Burns. Paul Rushing

Jeremy S Dishongh Law Offices
Mr. Dishongh is a very clever attorney who is unafraid to think outside of the box and use any tactic necessary to help his clients. He surpasses common legal moves by incorporating bold counter moves right back at the district attorneys. Simply put--he is your best shot at getting your case dismissed or charges greatly reduced. And guess what? Everyone in Montgomery County knows that!

Rivera Y Bujosa Law Office
Honestly if I could give this lawyer and his agency a negative rating I would do it in a heartbeat. Claims he is there for his clients and a bunch of other crap. THIS MAN IS A FRAUD, DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH HIM. STAY AWAY. He scammed my family and my brother by teaming up with the judge and prosecutor and FORCING my brother into a guilty plea. I will be suing for malpractice. Stay away from this scumbag of the earth.

The Law Office of J. Grant Stevens
Grant Stevens was very effective in getting my 3rd degree felony assault charge dismissed. He never once agreed to work the the DA in acquiring a plea agreement, he knew from the jump that it was an open and shut case in my favor and when the smoke cleared, it was. It was a very fast process and only took about 3 1/2 months from my arrest/bond for him to get the charge thrown out and now I can't get back on with my life. I did my part in providing the whole truth of what happened and every bit of tangible and intangible evidence in my favor and he went to work immediately. Overall, I'm well pleased because it ended exactly the way I was praying it would.

Scott Law Firm
I had an issue with an insurance company and called several Law offices I pulled off of the internet; after they heard my issue none of them took my case, for whatever reason. I knew I was in the right and wanted the insurance company to do the right thing. I asked my friends and was referred to Scott Law firm. I called and spoke to Patrick Scott. I was expecting the same brushoff I received from the other multiple Law offices, but after talking to him for awhile about my case, I could tell Patrick was different he really cared and was sympathetic to my issue.(very rare these days) He was very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the process. End of Story: He took the case and we won. Thank you Patrick, I will be using you from now on.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
