Garry's Service Center Inc
To anyone looking for a reliable mechanic--go to Garry's Service Center. Seriously. When I first visited them I had reached out for a second opinion on what was wrong with my 2008 Mini Cooper. It was shaking, humming and felt far from normal, and I had a pretty good feeling that my tire had a hole in it. I could not afford the recommended $1075 repair that my other mechanic said would fix the problem, and so I looked to Garry's Service Center to either confirm or deny that that was the way to go. The annoying voice in the back of my head felt like it had something to do with the tires and not the frontal wheel barrier, but I know very little about cars which is why it is so important to me to trust my mechanic. Good thing I went with my gut and got Garry's mechanic's opinion. After taking my car in he told me that my left tire was about to come off and my right tire was almost flat--the main cause of the shaking I felt. Both pretty serious issues if I drive on the highway the majority of the time. So, not only did I get both of those problems fixed AND check and clean all my other tires, BUT I ALSO SAVED A TON OF MONEY! The total for my visit was $114...which left me absolutely beaming as I thanked them for all their help and left a VERY happy customer. As an added bonus, I know that they will always be there for me if my car has any issues in the future that require long term fixing. They have free rental cars readily available to ensure that I am not stuck until my car is fixed. All in all, don't keep debating which car repair company to go to, because Garry's Service Center is the place to go!

Mike's Affordable Auto
when I went into mikes auto in chichester I was completely indecisive about what I wanted, I wanted a truck because of the area we live, I wanted a car because of gas prices I was just completely unprepared, when I was looking around the lot I noticed they had a fair share of both cars and trucks. a sales man greeted me and immediately made me feel welcome, but not pressured into anything. I test drove a few different things but I decided on an 08 Toyota Tacoma and boy am I happy with it! being used you can never be too sure but these guys are really good about vigorous inspection and making sure you leave safe and happy. believe it or not I was actually even able to buy a DEALER warranty, which is very uncommon at a pre owned place.all in all im very happy with my purchase.

Scott's Integrity Automotive Inc
Scott and Sean are two of the most amazing mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Honest, hardworking and also creative. I sometimes feel I do not treat my Buick very well, but these guys treat her like the lady she is.They have never gone over an estimate and have actually come in under estimate several times. I have even moved away from Concord and will continue to go to them because you will not find a better repair shop.

Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
