A Hands on Company
John and crew were great!!! I have been having a loud knocking sound for about a year, every time we would turn any faucet in our home on.We had a home warranty insure our home to protect us from this kind of-situation (yea right!!!)What a joke that is, over the year we have been putting up with the problem, our home warranty company sent out over SIX! Different plumbers and even going as far as to say the last one was the best one that they have and they have used him for years. So much for that he could not find it either. We got a referral from our next door neighbor to call A Hands On Company and ask for John or Todd.So we did and we got both to come out and within twenty minutes of being in our home John found the problem and in another two hours, had it permanently fixed. Our problem all this time was to much water pressure coming into our home.John and Todd put in a pressure adjuster, that brought the pressure in our home, back to the normal amount that we should have had and we have not had the knock since.Thank you John and Todd you guys were great!!!!

Stanton Plumbing
Patrick Stanton and his staff are without doubt the most professional plumbers I have ever used during my 60 years on this earth and I have used a lot. Stanton's pricing is very reasonable. He does what he says what he is going to do and went beyond by fixing a few other problems he saw along the way. This was an extremely difficult job in a 90 + year old house. Little and in some areas no crawl space. He dealt with ancient attics, and crawled through nooks and crannies filled with spiders, critters and even a yellow jacket hive to replace the galvanized pipe under a sprawling old home. I can't say enough about how Patrick and Sean handled this nasty job and maintained a positive and jovial demeanor throughout the job. He replaced all the old pipes and even piped a gas line into the old fireplace. He kept me up to date and informed on all the work as it progressed. I would and will recommend his services to one and all!!!

A Hands on Company
A well earned five stars across the board, it was the middle of cleaning up after thanks giving dinner, my five year old nephew put his toy car in the kitchen, sinknot knowing that he had done that we went to turn the disposal on and it broke our disposal. So unable to do dishes or even drain the sink full of dirty plates, we panicked.I called seven! so called plumbing companies, all said they would come quoting prices from $ 750.00 to $1200.00,being stuck with this mess, I had no choice.Well none even showed up, I remembered my co-workerhad told me about a company, A Hands On Company,I called them not knowing what to except, well let me tell youthey were at my front door in less than two hours and had my nightmare over in 45 minutes!!!!!Best of all john was able to get the toy car out and get my disposal to work just fine again, for under three hundred dollars!!

Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ΒΌ-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
